Stayed here, probably 6 times, over the last 10 or so years. Via Newmans (not a great experience), Airbnb and their own accommodation.
Out of all of them, their own was the best. In more recent years we have booked a Pod Plus and absolutely loved it. (book out of season for great value) Super views from the top slope they are situated on and have more or less everything you need inside (bring camping chairs and a bed topper for extra comfort).
Staff always super friendly and helpful.
If you want coastal walks it's perfect, with Budleigh Salterton about 1.25 hrs and Sidmouth 50 minutes away (you can always get a bus back to Otterton if you don't fancy the return walk)
Returning again in May to repeat the experience 😄

First night of the season for owners and the food was amazing. Well done chefs

Three Rocks only allow dogs to walk through to the back area. If weather is bad there's nowhere for them or owners to go on the park. The other bar is not open during the day. Not equipped for just adult guests with no children only dogs.

Overall a lovely place, however the Hillside toilet block is an absolute disgrace, dirty, broken,messy and hardly cleaned. Other blocks nice, but this one for the seasonal residents, who pay a serious amount of money each season has been forgotten and literally left to fall apart

Apparently it’s fit for purpose the General Manager has said, perhaps he needs to actually view it and see if he and his family would be happy to put his family in such a dirty environment
