I am absolutely horrified by Labcorp’s…

I am absolutely horrified by Labcorp’s continued involvement in animal testing, particularly the use of beagles and other animals in laboratory experiments. The thought of gentle, trusting dogs being bred for a life of confinement, subjected to procedures and testing, and then euthanized is deeply disturbing and, in my view, completely unacceptable.

No matter how carefully these practices are described by the industry, there is nothing humane about treating living, feeling animals as disposable test subjects. Beagles are known for their affectionate, loyal, and gentle nature—qualities that make their use in these experiments all the more heartbreaking. These dogs never get the chance to live normal lives as cherished companions; instead, many spend their entire existence behind laboratory walls.

In a time when scientific advances are providing alternative research methods, I find it incredibly disappointing that organisations are still relying on practices that cause suffering to animals. The public deserves greater transparency about what happens behind closed doors and a genuine commitment to replacing animal testing wherever possible.

I cannot support a company associated with these practices. The treatment of animals in research facilities remains one of the most troubling ethical issues of our time, and I believe companies should be held accountable for moving away from methods that inflict harm on sentient creatures that cannot speak for themselves.

Exploiting customers

2/13/26 I had lab work done. The results were WAY off. Very concerning to the point my dr had to take me off all my hormones. We then rechecked them 2/25 and my hormones were almost zero. I spent two weeks worried I might have cancer, a tumor etc. My dr then had me use my hormones at half dose and on 3/11 I retested. My hormones rose slightly. That’s when we realized the first test was incorrect. I am willing to pay for 1 lab test but Labcorp said they will write off the first lab but I have to pay for the 2 follow up labs. The follow up labs were because THEY made an error. They caused a huge amount of distress. Now the billing department refuses to adjust my bill, they have lied and they keep giving me other numbers to call that cant help me. They are trying to make me pay for their mistake!

Just terrible!

My Dr. here in Fuquay-Varina, NC normally has a clinic with his own technician or phlebotomist to do blood draws but she was out sick when I was there. So I had to go to LabCorps. I made an appointment at LabCorps for the next day. When I showed up there were 12 people waiting. A sign on the desk informed me there was only one tech on duty so please be patient. I noticed the tech wasn’t calling any names so she wasn’t going be appointments. I tried to cancel my app on my phone using the confirm number in an email they sent earlier. System said it couldn’t find my appointment. I Just left. This is the worst clinic for doing blood draws I’ve ever seen.

Once again

Once again, Labcorp is billing people because they are not filing with the insurance companies. This has been a every day occurance.
You need to complain to your doctor, if they are using Lapcorp.
In addition, the billing dept. people at Labcorp cannot speak plain English. Impossible to understand them.

If I could give them a negative number…

If I could give them a negative number of stars I would. I get routine labs done every 3 months, as I have for many years. Before, when our facilities used QUEST, I never had any trouble. Now that Labcorp does everything I have issues with billing every time I get labs done. I have two insurances and between the two, I have never had to pay for my labs. Now, labcorp sends me bills for hundreds of dollars every time. When I call about it they never have an answer and when I call my insurance company, they say that what labcorp is doing is illegal. Its been over a year and Im still having to call them every month to see why my bills aren't taken care of yet and they always have a bullshit excuse that my insurance company says is just not true. I hate using them but I have no other lab to use, all the facilities here use labcorp.

Say goodbye to a multi-decade long customer Labcorp

Since they are right next door to my Dr.'s office, I've been using the same Labcorp office since the 1990s. I always found the staff pleasant & professional. Today they refused to take my blood samples because I was unable to provide a urine sample on demand. Does anyone have that skill on their resume? In response to what the technician says is her manager's policy I tell Labcorp to say goodbye to a multi-decade long customer.

Lack of quality

I took my elderly mother to get bloodwork done for a 9:45 appointment time in Tavares at 2730 Dora Ave. They were severely short staffed as there were only two people working and trying to do the best they could at working the front desk AND doing the bloodwork. This is NO reflection on the employees. They were helpful in keeping us informed of the wait. One of them had to assist an elderly patient for an hour specifically which led to a long wait time for everyone. I feel quality of care is affected because of this. This is totally on corporate. Labcorp needs to do better at providing quality healthcare for patients who are largely elderly and maintain a supportive environment for their hardworking employees.

Go elsewhere if you possibly can

Go elsewhere if you possibly can. On 03/19/26 I visited the Asheville, NC service center for routine blood work and a drug screen ordered by my family doctor due to medications I'm taking. He got the blood results but not the drug screen. Three inquiries via the patient portal got me nothing but AI generated slop. You can no longer talk to a patient rep for anything. To top it off they did not bill my primary insurance and had the nerve to send me a bill for the entire cost of the tests. I'm never setting foot in Labcorp again.

Okay 1st off there’s no way I have to…

Okay 1st off there’s no way I have to wait an hour to get a stool kit test. Second there’s no way the tablets aren’t ada accessible where this lady in a wheelchair couldn’t read the tablet and I had to help her. Third they need clear sign that says to ring bell to drop off sample because they almost had me waiting for another 30 minutes before the lady at desk told me ring the bell.

Lab results wrong!!

I haven't been feeling good the past week so decided to have my levels checked. (I was having palpitations, nervousness, Dizziness and anxiety) Went in on Friday morning, the place I went was great, no problems. By Friday night I was in the ER, diagnosed with extremely low potassium and magnesium. Got fixed up there. Come Saturday, I get my results back from Labcorp. All my levels stated within normal limits. NOT POSSIBLE. Makes me question all labs I've had done there in the past. Won't be using them again.

Mixed up paperwork

Mixed up paperwork. Good luck thinking that bloodwork results are actually yours. This horrible place has a monopoly, and they treat you like it. Their dumb portal doesn't have any real support, and they upload incorrect authentication data. You get stuck and cannot view very important results. Questioning whether results are actually yours.

I got blood drawn OVER THREE WEEKS AGO…

I got blood drawn OVER THREE WEEKS AGO and still have not received all of my results.

I contacted customer service multiple times and was initially told to “keep waiting.” After more than two weeks with no answers, I pushed them to investigate further and discovered that they hadn’t properly connected the results to my account.

When I finally received results, it was only for HALF of the tests that were ordered. The other half are still missing, and now I can’t get anyone to respond or help resolve the issue.

This has been incredibly frustrating, stressful, and unacceptable — especially when people are often waiting on important health information.

Labcorp billing department is horrible

Labcorp billing department is horrible, started with incorrect name on bill , when trying to resolve they dragged their feet and was paid by insurance and was still sent to collections and trying to resolve that issue they act like it’s not their responsibility, Labcorp attitude is the worst in trying to resolve issue to the moment !

They are all just so rude

They are all just so rude. Never say hi. Rush you. Won’t listen. And Resulted in incorrect info even after talking to the manager which meant my sample could not be used. They won’t answer the phones. As soon as you walk in immediately “ do you have an appointment “ and if you no try freak out shaking their head even though they told me the Friday before I don’t need one. Just so rude and disorganized. They don’t care either. Which is why you wee horrible reviews all over the internet. So your best to go elsewhere
