SO DISAPPOINTMENT
Purchased new La Canadienne boots.
Clear manufacturing defect after 2 months.
Contacted customer service and was denied resolution without original receipt. Disappointed with how this was handled for a premium brand.

The brand may be good but service is horrible.. we had ordered a black purse, they send us a brown one and now they are refusing to help us, no one is getting back to us and no phone number to call customer service.. really sad

Im still waiting on my purse replacement! How much longer it's gonna take?! I'm very disappointed with your terrible service! You don't even try to fix your mess!
You instruct me to do return, but there are extra changes for return! Im not paying any extra changes! It was your mistake, not mine! And, if there is no purse in black longer available (what's not true!), I want my money back in full ($299)! And, I want extra discount for my next order, because I purchased that purse with extra discount!

The Customer Service takes multiple weeks to respond to any email inquiry and there is no dedicated phone line for US customers. There is a $60 fee for shipping there and back to return any items if you are a US customer and on top of it it will come with a side of French Canadian attitude on the part of Customer Service service — it also takes more than 20 business days meaning one month for them to refund your money after you send back an item. Truly will never buy from this company again.

Shopping at la Canadienne has been like always an amazing experience. I would like to stress especially the warm welcome and friendly and knowledgeable service I got by Melissa and Anthony. Furthermore the great quality of the Canadienne's products always fulfilled my expectations and my last order I did at short notice arrived in time.

I bought a pair of shoes that did not have any reviews on their website. When I got them and left a negative review, it never got posted. I also received a letter in the mail about a month after purchase to notify me that my credit card information was leaked in a data breach. In addition this, they refused to honour their waterproof warranty even though my feet are completely soaked after only a couple of months wear. They have not responded to my emails from the past few months. I have also not been able to reach anyone by calling in, even during their short hours of 9-5 on weekdays. I left messages that were never returned. This is not a legitimate company and they operate in a very dishonest and deceptive way. My advice is to keep your money and personal information safe and not engage with this fraudulent business.

La Canadienne typically has amazing sturdy shoes BUT this is really unacceptable change. I bought a 650$ pair of "Abba" boots for northeast winters in December of 2022, and by April of 2023, 4 months later, both boots had holes in them on the heels. The heel is made of a thin layer of rubber and the hole leads to air, not material. Unbelieveably badly designed and buyer beware. Boots sent back to store and will not replace directly. Let's hope La Canadienne does the right thing and also redesigns their cheaply made 600$+ shoes.
