Ruben Thiru, CEO of the deeply troubled L mobi, failed to deliver the promised telecom service to customers who already paid for the online bundles. After a sudden termination of the mobile network, this guy chose to be a coward and walked away from his customers. No announcement were made on refunding the unused call and data credits. Instead, he played the victim card and blamed KPN to conceal his own incompetence and management issues. He didn't seem to have any awareness of how the business world works and naively ventured his customer's interest on a fragile partnership between his company and KPN. I tried to reach out to the CEO on different social media platforms to claim my rights but he blocked me and deleted my comments. There are indeed monopolists in the Dutch telecom market, but at least customers get what they pay for. Stricter regulation should be imposed against fraudsters like L mobi who took customer's money and then "disappeared" without prior notice.
