Subject: Urgent Complaint – No Access to My KuCoin Account for 6 Months / Frozen Funds / No Response from Support

Dear KuCoin Team,

My name is Alkhouja. My KuCoin UID is 164764051, and my registered email address is alkhouja030 @ gmail.com.

I have been trying to contact your support team for over 6 months regarding my account, but I have received no helpful answers. Most of the time, I don’t get any reply at all. This is unacceptable and highly unprofessional.

About 4 months ago, your support asked me to send a video showing my ID in my hand while speaking a verification code. I followed the instructions exactly and submitted the video, but it was rejected without clear explanation. After that, I contacted you again several times, and no one responded.

Currently, my KuCoin account has 1,350 USDT frozen. I cannot withdraw the money or transfer it to another wallet because I have lost access to my old phone number, so I cannot receive the SMS verification code.

I am asking you to please reset or change my phone number so that I can regain full access to my account and withdraw my funds.

I am fully willing to provide all necessary proofs again, including a live video call to verify my identity.

This is my final request. I demand that you:

Review my account properly

Allow me to change my phone number

Enable withdrawal or transfer of my funds

If I don’t receive a clear answer within 7 days, I will:

Post 250+ negative reviews on Trustpilot, Reddit, Twitter, and Telegram to make my case public

Take legal action and get a lawyer involved to pursue this matter

I truly hope you take this seriously and resolve my issue immediately. I am ready to cooperate in any way necessary.

Won't let me withdraw my crypto. Giving vague excuse of my crypto being "currently locked from withdrawal".

Don't use this scam site.

6 days wasting time in p2p appeal the buyer didn’t paid and he said that in chat , but they locked your funds and give you annoying word wait wait we are doing our best i don’t recommend to work with run away its advice

I had my account frozen because of compliance issues. This was annoying but I will not blame this on Kucoin because they are just trying to follow regulations as everyone else.

I want to give a big thanks to the Kucoin Customer service for taking the issue seriously, responding promptly and making the process of providing the right documentation go smoothly.

My experience with companies in the crypto space is that customer support is either bad or slow but Kucoin managed to solve this issue professionally and within 24 hours.

Was a everyday app for me in 2020. Now Im thinking of deleting it. Constantly delisting assest that intend to hold for years is insane. every few weeks I have to move another asset off the platform or it gets taken off me. Ive lost over $2000AUD because I didnt see the delist warning emails in time to move the assets. Starting to think that's how they make most of their money because it just keeps happening.

This platform is a disgrace and operates like a scam. They have held my money for over two days in a P2P appeal, while the buyer blatantly tried to cheat me — demanding I cover his commission and attempting to steal $50 from the deal. I refused, and the buyer has failed to show any proof of payment. Meanwhile, I have provided clear, solid evidence that no payment was received. Yet, your support team keeps stalling, asking useless questions, and refusing to cancel the order — blocking me from accessing my funds, selling my asset, and paying my rent. This is not just poor service; this is financial abuse and fraud. If this is not resolved immediately, I will take legal action.

Not a good platform for buying and selling. They have a merchant who steals your money. Customer service is bad and they do nothing. Block them. Their merchant is not good. Block them. Very, very bad experience. Go to another platform. It is better for you.

KUCOIN IS A SCAM! USE THEM AT YOUR RISK!

I wrote a review here a few weeks ago about my terrible experience with KuCoin, but unfortunately, things have only gotten worse.

On January 17, 2025 , I submitted a recovery request for unsupported/unlisted coins and paid a service fee of 80 USD . KuCoin promised me that the issue would be resolved within 5 working days after payment. Guess what? It’s now May 2, 2025 , and I’ve received NOTHING. No updates, no coins returned, just complete and utter SILENCE.

This is absolutely unacceptable. They took my money, ignored my repeated follow-ups, and left me hanging for MONTHS. I’ve contacted their support team multiple times, but they’ve done NOTHING to fix this.

Let me be clear: KuCoin is a scam. They prey on users by charging recovery fees and then fail to deliver on their promises. If my funds aren’t returned by May 5, 2025 , I’m taking this public and filing complaints with every regulatory authority possible.

Stay away from KuCoin unless you want to lose your money and your sanity.

In January 2025, Kucoin locked out Americans with no notice. Fallout from the ~$300M DOJ judgement ("KuCoin and two of its founders, Chun Gan and Ke Tang, flouted US anti-money laundering law").

Now, as an American, they demand KYC from me, which they admit is valid AND YET they are keeping me locked out, unable to access my assets. Instead gaslighting by just repeatedly sending platitudes along with various differing lists of KYC requirements (as if anything were even wrong, it is not).

Perhaps revenge against Americans with intent to eventually take what belongs to me by keeping me locked out, using their pretend games.

Wholly corrupt.

I deposited 2,408 they then allowed me to take out 162.20. I had a big loss then a big win my account has 5871.8 USDT in it and they won't let me take it out and the said "After checking by the merchant, your account credit score is insufficient and you are temporarily unable to withdraw money". So I've got money in my account but they won't let me have it and said if I want to try and get it I need to deposit another 4,000

Trash I don’t know why I have used it for so long pnl in never correct. Also when you deposit it will have a page telling you the fees before going ahead. I deposited 2000nzd and ended up with 1800 that’s only one of most times I was not at all quoted 200 dollar fee it was more around the 50 mark which I was ok with maybe less. Instant liquidation today which is my final straw with this site apsolute garbage lost a lot of money over the time spent with them due to the stupid site saying one thing but actually ending up to be nothing of the sort. For example you close your position at 5 dollars expect 2.20. You put stop loss in, even if volume is low takes much more. Not the site to use it’s not up to play with what you need in your life

I have been scammed by these people they won't give me the funds I have 252 usd as I could not put anymore money in they wanted another 380 pounds to get my money out it is a disgrace DO NOT USE

It has already been more than 6 days, but I still have not received my tokens back nor any specific solution.
I have been patient enough, but this delay is becoming unacceptable.
I am now seriously requesting a clear deadline for when my tokens will be returned.
If I do not receive a proper resolution soon, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to higher authorities and take further action.
Kindly treat this as urgent.

Kucoin is the worst exchange ever. I wonder who still have common sense use it. Your deposit will never arrive and after reaching support they never help but flimsy excuses all along wasting your time. In the you still won't get it resolved. You'll always lose money interacting with that exchange. STAY OUT FOR YOUR OWN MENTAL HEALTH.

Kucoin’s list of altcoins is impressive but XRP depth can thin at the worst times. I withdrew the $5,600 worth of tokens, parked them on Fidexy, converted to USDT and had $560 hit my balance — a neat 10% gain. There are no VIP fees, no juggling bots, and the interface was holding my hand the entire way. Despite the transfer, directly surfing my XRP stack on Fidexy sounds like a more prudent fall back than filling with Kucoin’s occasional liquidity kerfuffles.

Kucoin p2p scam beware sam brar sukhwinder brar he is a scammer,Kucoin does nothing to help you get ur crypto and freeses it, it also changed my trading password and reset it preventing withdrawal.
