Very disappointed

I wanted to take my wife on a surprise wedding anniversary holiday for a week in the Lake District together with our dog and I looked at the reviews on various sites and this site looked very promising and so I sent my requirements via their website the day before we were due to leave but had no reply so the next day I sent another email via their website.
As I did not receive any response I looked up another email address for the company and the next day I received a response saying that they had not received the communication and when did I want to stay but as it was too late I responded informing them that I was very disappointed with their communications.
In my experience responses via websites are usually very secure and I would have thought that if there was a problem they would have wanted to investigate it as they could be losing many potential bookings.
