A disappointing experience from start to finish
I purchased several products from the Medicube Triple Collagen line after they were advertised as being suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. My skin was perfectly fine before using these products, and shortly after introducing them into my routine I experienced a breakout.
The products were disappointing, but the customer service was by far the worst part of this experience. Instead of showing any understanding or attempting to find a reasonable solution, my concerns were dismissed with a copy and paste response referring only to their policy. The fact that I was told I should have consulted a doctor or completed an allergy test before purchasing a product marketed as suitable for all skin types was especially frustrating. Apparently customers are expected to get medical clearance before buying everyday skincare now.
If a company chooses to market products with claims like "suitable for all skin types," it should also be prepared to take responsibility when a customer has a genuine negative reaction.
This was a poor experience not only because of the products, but because of the complete lack of customer care afterwards. A good company should value customer feedback and try to resolve issues.. not hide behind policies and dismiss complaints.
After this experience, I will not be purchasing from this website again. There are plenty of skincare retailers that understand the importance of treating customers with respect.
