Douglas in Customer Service. 12:30 pacific time April 17th. He is in the wrong field of work. This guy knows nothing about CS. Unprofessional, flippant, arrogant and rude. He didn't address my concerns regarding my mobile service at all. He only told me what I already knew. He got so frustrated that he hung up on me. This is bad for business. Telus/Koodo ditch the staffers who are only there for the paycheck and the Neverending opportunities to make your company look bad.

Koodo has bad cell service almost anywhere you go. And today, my phone service disappeared completely and I can’t seem to get a rep on the line to get my service back.

I had a problem which The Customer Rep identified as a Fraud,I was asked to pay $300 and something .I was told I had another account which I am not aware of and I do not use.I pay my phone Bills Promptly,Because of this I cannot move from Koodoo to Telus.I contacted Koodoo Reps and I was being transferred from one person to another,nobdy is able to solve this problem.I am so disappointed ,I had to be on hold for long,being tossed from one person to another,not getting at least a promising response or someone who is willing to investigate it.Some of the Reps I do not understand.It was a terrible experince and I am going to cancel my plan with Koodoo.

I wouldn't even give them one star, but had to to say this. I cannot get into my account and it keeps repeating to put in my information and keeps telling me the information is wrong. Even when you call the tel# you get a recording that tells you to sign in B U T you C A N N O T sign in. If I could switch companies I would do it in a minute
Unreliable providers
Unreliable providers. Made me 10 days for an internet set up. My modem never arrived, i wasted time waiting on them and they could not so much as tell me that I would not be receiving a modem within the timeframe they had given. Foolishness

I got a plan with unlimited data. Then got a text saying my data is cutoff cuz i exceeded my limit. When i call customer support they redirect me to a website, the website won't let me login. When i click forgot my password, I do not receive an email ( or in my spam folder ). So I literally have no way of even getting access to help. I went to the store I bought my phone and they can't access it either and said I have to use self-serve, the same website that i can't login or recover password for.
EDIT:
I asked the chatbot for a rep multiple times and the bot refused. I told it I would leave a horrible review and suddenly it was able to schedule me a call - get bent koodo. Furthermore, it offered me times to pick, and since im working till 230 so I picked 3, i got a text telling me that they would call at 2. Can you guys get anything right at all? So incompetent.

INDIAN Representatives
I was approached in a supermarket by sales representatives claiming to offer a better plan through Koodo/Telus.
They promised:
• Lower monthly cost ($60 total)
• Specific data amounts for two lines
• No extra fees
However, after signing up, I received a bill of $292, which was never clearly explained or agreed to.
When I tried to contact the representative:
• She stopped responding
• No follow-up or support was provided
Customer service later confirmed:
• My actual plan does NOT match what was promised
• They have no record of the verbal agreement made by the sales reps
⚠️ This is extremely concerning.
These third-party representatives appear to:
• Promise things that are not honored
• Mislead customers into signing contracts
• Disappear when issues arise
I strongly advise:
• Do NOT sign anything with in-person sales reps in stores or supermarkets
• Always verify directly with the official provider before agreeing
I am currently pursuing this issue further to small claim court!

If there was an option for 0 stars that's what koodo would get from me. Impossible to contact, sets up false callbacks, no real number to get through on. Been without internet for over two days now. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I have had my account since 2015 and have never experienced a problem. I have givn Kood Mobile four stars instead of five because, because I have not contacted their customer service, I cannot rate it. I have found I can make any changes through their app.
Koodo doesnt care at all about its customers
Koodo is not a good provider. It is impossible to talk to a real person I've tried to schedule a call back many times and am stuck waiting on an ai rep to respond and set up a time only to never ever ever ever ever recieve a message from them to even set up the callback. Companies switching to ai is rage inducing levels of frustration. Every single one of us just wants to talk to a human to clear our issues up, and you create an endless goose chase that ultimately leads to us giving up. Companies are gross and have zero interest in the customer. And if we complain, it has to be on some random site like this one, that customers have to find on their own. Koodo's official reviews are very flattering, yet you cant leave one. But look at this site. We all hate it. We need to burn the internet as we know it to the ground and start over. Cheap, unreachable and smug has become the new base model for all company's customer service and bottom line. They've all given up even the most basic level of pretending to care. Also I had to choose a date, but its every single time.

Horrible lack of customer support & service
Koodo has made it incredible hard to access a person with the changes they have made to their customer service support. If you are able to weave through the overly complicated system to get a person on a callback, they will be rude, unhelpful, will accidentally disconnect calls, and will actually hang up on you! After being a customer for over a decade I am truly shocked and disappointed. They don't care about their customers anymore. I used to recommend them, but not anymore.

DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE; THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY. Koodo is absolutely horrendous and has not gotten better in between my first try over a decade ago, and my current issues today. We are poor, on disability, struggling for income... and this absolute PoS disgustingly run company STOLE almost 40$ from us.
Paid not once, not twice, but THREE times in Jan30-Feb01 period. Paid that month's bill (Feb) and SHOULD have had a further 2x payments topped up and sitting there to be used to KEEP THE SERVICE FROM RANDOMLY SUSPENDING AT END OF BILLING CYCLE. I repeat, these MFers go and SHUT YOUR SERVICES OFF AT EXACTLY THE LAST DAY OF BILLING, so you never get that last day you PAID FOR unless you've paid FORWARD (so you have extra set in there).
No data was used up, no the minutes were not used up. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason that money should be gone.
Think we can get ahold of someone to FIX this? Nope. Absolute trash company, do not give them your money. DO. NOT. DO. IT. You will ABSOLUTELY regret it and you'll lose out ANY money you tried to top-up in the account. Like, just poof, it won't exist. The account was paid like normal for 2x more before we discovered this problem, and that is absolutely not ok. That extra was supposed to be topping up the account to ensure it doesn't go dead when needed most.
Heinous company, heinous behaviour, absolute waste of money and now our broke azzes are out of almost 40$, which is a WEEK'S WORTH OF GROCERIES FOR US.
Disgusting company. I don't care how sh1t the others are, how much pricier, just either don't have a phone or get something better. It's hell to cancel, they hit you with stupid fees on your last bill, they are AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL.
Save your money, save yourself the mental hassle and just pay 10$ more to go to a better service provider. I swear, it's worth the 10$ to save yourself from being cut off before your monthly money comes in. I assure you, it's not worth the 'cheap' price anymore. It's not even that cheap.

Difficult to reach a real person customer service. Each time I called, they sent me back to Koodo chat/assist. I requested for rep to call me back, never received any call. Cancelled my services with Koodo.

I have been receiving emails for over a month, saying I owe them $123.35. I quit Koodo Mobile in December, and now I have a competent, honest cell phone provider.
Towards the end of December, I paid Unsubby to cancel my mobile service with Koodo. They have assured me that they have sent you a letter informing you of that. On December 17th, 2025, I switched to another mobility service provider, and at that time, I was issued another telephone number. I have not had the telephone number issued by Koodo (613-227-1377) since then. Also, I paid Koodo the money I owed them.
Please do me a favor, and stop contacting me.

Thieves, they added 20$ monthly without my consent, made me pay to cancel their services... really bad customer support can't reach out to them by phone have to go to a branch, visited a branch on bloor west got very rude customer service from the male guy there and female was nice.. will never ever get this service provider again in my life.
Cellular Data unavailable during power outage
Last night during a weather related power outage I had phone service but not cellular data access. My wife has a plan with Telus (parent company of Koodo) and she had both phone and data access. Very disappointing that data service was denied to me during a power outage when the network was providing it to those on Telus plans.
Can't get internet connection
Can't get internet connection, no call backs. I've got 4 of them, not one works .no person to talk too , going on 7 hours trying to get this shit to work, feel I should get paid DONT DO THE INTERNET WITH KOODO lol im still waiting on a call back only 2 1/2 hours and going strong 🙃
