The classes are great and our kid is engaged and interested. Kodland support is also very good and their prompt response to all queries is great.

We are taking Roblox course and it is very good.

I connected with Kodland for a trial session end of August 2025, given them a chance even though I had seen some negative reviews that the classes were getting cancelled. After booking the trial session, it had been cancelled twice literary last minute (few minutes before its start) due to the tutor having internet issues.

My daughter finally had a session with Paula who seemed very nice and was able to clarify the points; still, the argument why trial sessions get cancelled was not professional, the reason being that these trials are free of charge, so they are not important - very poor marketing when you want to attract customers, first impressions matters.

I agreed with Paula for 4 classes only, to see if my daughter felt comfortable and also to avoid losing a big amount of money as the prices are quite costly.

It was a wise decision to pay only for 4 classes rather than 40 as it proved to be a waste of time and money, thus I didn't extend to more than the 4 classes paid originally.

First of all, I was expecting proficient level of English of the tutor, but this wasn't the case and Aly's English wasn't at the level a tutor should have.

Secondly, during the 4 classes, a lot of time was wasted as most of the participants didn't know how to use Zoom, neither by the kids attending the classes nor by the adults accompanying them.

Thirdly, I started receiving Whats App marketing messages for which I didn't provide consent to receive. On top of this, these messages were sent at completely inappropriate hours like 6 AM my local time.

Fourthly, I was being chased for further payments even though I had enrolled my daughter only for 4 classes and every time, I was asking not to be chased as there isn't anything outstanding, I was assured everything was ok.

To summarize, it's better to keep yourself away from this company as the services are far below the prices they are charging and it's worth you use your money on something more beneficial for your child.

It is good opportunity for children to learn more about coding.

I took one-on-one lessons at Kodland for my daughter. Her awareness and love of math increased. The teachers are very attentive, and the guidance service is very helpful. They continuously report on her progress and alert parents when there are areas that need improvement. We are satisfied, so we are continuing in the new term. Thank you, Kodland

On June 22, 2025, we purchased a 128-lesson online Scratch and Roblox learning package for our son from Kodland. During the purchase process, we were offered a discount valid only on that day, prompting us to make a quick decision. We bought the package because our trial lessons were enjoyable. We started with high hopes for our son's future, even receiving promises of participating in competitions, etc.
However, when the summer ended and school started, the two-lesson-a-week program became tiring for our son. While we wanted to reduce his screen time, these lessons had the opposite effect, and also decreasing our son's interest. Kodland teachers confirmed the loss of motivation. We were completely dissatisfied with the program and were requesting the cancellation of the remaining 104 lessons and a refund.
During the period of our such requests, we contacted Kodland customer service numerous times, both by phone and WhatsApp. However, we were told that no refunds would be issued and that the remaining lessons could only be transferred to other subjects (such as math). This solution was not suitable for us; our son's interest had completely diminished, and we would not continue the lessons because of the reasons above. Furthermore, we had not provided with any contract or commitment, and it is still the case.
We made our 94,240 TRY payment online by credit card from Ankara. Our username is "Efe Açıkalın." We have been searching for a solution since approximately July 2025 and have been in constant communication for the past weeks. All 104 remaining lessons have not been used, and our refund request has not been granted.
We request the cancellation of the remaining lessons and a refund of the fees we paid.

We were very disappointed with the Kodland online lessons.
• The first week, the lesson was supposed to start, but we waited a long time and then it was completely canceled without proper communication.
• The second week, the class finally started, but there was almost nothing for the children to actually learn.
• By the third lesson, things got even worse: the teacher was constantly angry, impatient, and couldn’t even respond to our children’s questions.

This is not the quality of education we expected when signing up. We hope Kodland will seriously improve the organization of lessons, ensure teachers are well-prepared and respectful, and provide actual value to the students.

My experience with Kodland was profoundly disappointing. After only two sessions, I had already seen enough to decide the platform was not worth either the time or the money.

> Technical Failures from the Start
The platform is riddled with usability issues that make it frustrating for both children and parents. Simple navigation is confusing, and during the last session, a critical failure occurred: the main button to access activities simply did not work. Even when we managed to get into the exercises, the system failed to record answers, making the evaluation process useless. In short, the interactive tools (which are supposed to be the foundation of their teaching) were unreliable, glitchy, and a waste of time.

> Wasted Learning Time
Instead of learning, most of the session time was spent trying to resolve technical problems. These aren’t minor hiccups; they are structural flaws in Kodland’s design and functionality. For a company selling itself as an educational platform, that is inexcusable. Children deserve focus on education, not on debugging a broken system.

> Unhelpful Response
When I raised these issues, the suggested solution was essentially to “talk to the tutor.” That completely misses the point. This isn’t a user-level issue that a teacher can fix, it’s a systemic failure of the platform itself. Offering a premium group or another trial class is irrelevant when the core product doesn’t work. By then, my confidence was already gone.

> Refund Process | Slow and Punitive
Canceling was another ordeal. The company hides behind policies that impose penalties and delays (15–21 business days for processing, plus a 15% fee deduction unless they feel like admitting responsibility). These conditions add insult to injury. If a product fails so fundamentally, the refund should be immediate and complete.

> Final Verdict <
Kodland sells itself as an innovative way for kids to learn coding, but in reality it feels like an underdeveloped, poorly tested platform being used on paying customers. Technical flaws, clunky navigation, wasted class time, and a refund policy designed to discourage dissatisfied clients make this a company I cannot recommend to anyone.

If you value your child’s learning experience and your own peace of mind, look elsewhere. Two sessions were enough for me to realize Kodland is not ready to deliver what it promises.

It's a best platform that I know to educate children according to the their abilities and interests . And the tutors are well-educated in the subjects they need to explain.

My experience is being great, our tutor is very comprehensive and experienced managing children. Always the kodland team is available to solve any issues or doubts and last but no least my kid is learning a lot

We have experienced a very great overview and had an introduction from a very kid friendly instructor who knows how to guide his students and grab their attention at the same time. I hope we experience and continue with the similar mindset and approachable teacher as we decided to start with the courses.

It was a super wonderful experience. My daughter enjoyed her classes a lot. She was very pleased with her teachers because each time she had a doubt, they explained the topic in a fun and patient manner.

The whole of Kodland is an amazing platform. My daughter for the first time is doing coding and she is amazed doing the lessons and gaining the knowledge. Her teacher is Vitalli, he is always helpful and even after the lessons are over he is always helping if there is a need

1. While your platform appears advanced, your communication, support, and follow-up have been severely lacking.

On June 28, 2025, my 8-year-old daughter, Thaleia Kazantzidi, attended a 90-minute Roblox coding class (scheduled at 16:00 Argentina time) with an instructor named Maira from Tucumán. After the session, Maira promised to send the Roblox project my daughter created along with the official offer—yet we received nothing. 2. Today, July 4, 2025, we had a Mathematics class scheduled for 18:00. No one showed up. Your WhatsApp support is unresponsive, leaving us without any explanation or apology.

We adjusted our Friday evening plans to ensure punctuality, yet your team completely disregarded our time—and worse, my daughter’s excitement turned to disappointment because of your negligence.

This is unacceptable. Our time is valuable, and we expect professionalism, not empty promises and missed commitments.
