excellent customer service, first time using this company, product extremely robust only issue we had was the fruit cage door locking mechanism, haven’t been able to make it work so have come up with our own device.

The delivery was ok but there was no time scale provided in the confirmation email but it came in a couple of weeks.

You have to check and report any issues in 48 hours. I couldn’t check as it’s cling filmed so tightly and had to wait for someone to come help.

The instructions are not great for what you pay. You are provided with a handful of cable ties to attach the netting which isn’t enough so make sure you have more if you purchase. It seems sturdy enough but I’m not sure that the butterfly netting will keep them out as the holes seem big to me but only time will tell.

I’m not sure that I would buy again for the price I don’t feel that it is great quality.

Pleased with overall quality, gate closure is a weakness, but generally a sturdy construction. Very good communication

The product however is not up to the same standard. I ordered 4 fruit and vegetable frames which came packaged in pairs. When I finally fought through the infuriating clingfilm used to package the kits you are faced with a pile of bits and no instructions. It is not too hard to work out how the frames fit together but in this case some of the tube ends were slightly distorted and the screw sockets did not fit without bending the tubes with pliers first.

When finally assembled you are faced with installing the nets which are not cut to size, all you have is a roll of netting some ties and clips and no instructions as to how to install. We found the ties useless and resorted to normal cable ties. We haven't yet worked out what the clips are for or how they work because they do not fit though the mesh.

What I thought would be a simple job took a lot longer than anticipated. the product is not bad but for the price some instructions would be nice and better quality control of the tube ends, so OK if you are prepared to improvise a bit.

I've used Knowle Nets several times and have found that they sell quality products at very reasonable prices. Their fruit cage netting was significantly cheaper than elsewhere but the quality was great. This time I also tried their grass reinforcement netting and their weed block fabric. Again both these products were excellent. Delivery took just over a week.

Always reliable, always helpful and always very courteous.

I think I bought my walk in cage from Knowle but as this was the late eighties I am not 100% sure. But it is still up & would have been in good order had a tree not fallen on it. I found all the compatible spares, which makes me think it is a Knowe originally, listed on the site. Ordered without problem & arrived promptly. But I made one mistake as I was switching between tabs. I should have ordered caps for the high cage not low . I called Knowle & they sent out the right ones FOC apart from modest p&p cost. I did the honourable thing & returned the incorrect ones without requesting a refund. They were very fair with me, only right I reciprocate

I bought a walk in fruit cage from Knowle Nets. When I unpacked it I found that the door post was badly bent. I think their packaging could be more robust. But when I reported it to Knowle they replaced it without question.
I am pleased with the fruit cage so far - it seems fairly sturdy and was pretty easy to put up, I just needed help putting the top bars on, everything else I did on my own.

Good quality net for a fruit cage. Bought some rubbish from Amazon in the first place that I had to return, then a friend on the allotment recommended Knowle. Greta product. Prompt delivery!

Can only recommend Knowles Nets. First time using them and was well impressed, great prices, easy to use web site, and when I had a question about a product they gave me an answer within 24 hours. The netting I purchased is ideal for my allotment it’s strong but light easy to put onto the beds and also for a fence between wooden stakes. Lets the light and rain through to the plants, in the summer it will diffuse strong sunlight and prevent burning to the leaves. Received within a week well wrapped.

The order delivery date was delayed several times. It took repeated mails to get a response. Finally I got a notice saying shipped DX next day. that was on a Friday. No tracking number. It finally turned up on Monday. When I raised the issue I was told that they only deliver on working days. I don't know of any courier that does not deliver seven days. They then said that it was on their web site, which it was not.

The instructions are beyond pathetic. I'm disabled and my handy man is away so I've no idea if the product is any good. I just pray that the quality is better than the most abysmal customer service I've endured for ages.

Several weeks ago I wrote what could be considered a scathing review of the product and service of this company, following my purchase of a strawberry frame.

While my initial comments regarding the kit and lack of instructions still stand, I need to update my experience of their customer service.

Following my review (this maybe cause and effect or merely coincidence) Knowle Nets contacted me and provided a sketch diagram of how the cage should be assembled together with a set of instructions. I took the opportunity to make comments on how the instructions might be modified (improvements in my view) and how they might be tested for effectiveness. The responses from the company have been polite, friendly and welcoming. Although the cynic in me suggests that this maybe merely a PR exercise I have no evidence to support this and time will tell.

My view of Knowle Nets has improved.

Very poor.
I enquired before ordering whether poles can but cut to length. Got a prompt reply to say yes, but when the cage finally arrived (about a month after I ordered it), it turns out the ends of the poles are machined.You can cut them to length, you won't be able to build the cage afterwards!
To add insult to injury the fixings supplied don't fit in the down tubes.
Pretty shoddy product & very slow delivery

I ordered a 2.25m by 1.5m strawberry frame with netting and some additional items so that it could be modified. I expected the long sides to comprise a single tube 2.25m long. What I received was a 1.5m tube and a 0.75m tube which needed to be joined in the middle using their ‘Horti ball’ joint. This arrangement was not rigid and needed additional support. Nowhere on their website can I find a statement saying that longer frames use split tubes. This is grossly misleading. The upshot was that my planned changes could not be made and I had to adapt my plans to suit what I received. This involved cutting tubes and making and additional wooden block to connect tubes. In addition I asked a question regarding the differing size of hole in the Horti balls. I have yet to receive an acknowledgment never mind an answer. All of this compounded by there being no instructions. I made the frame and we tried to fit the supplied netting but could not and so used netting we already had. I shall never use this company again, it is one to be avoided at all costs. I shall go back to Agriframes who sell a quality product not the shambles received fro Knowle Nets.
