The pattern made no sense and the yarn suggested is impossible to buy or find a comparison. The gauge didn't match the final measurements and the photo didn't match how the shawl should have been knitted. HOWEVER, when I raised my concern the company responded with an agreement that there were errors and offered a refund, all of which I received within 24 hours of contacting them.
Do not be taken in by this. The pattern I paid for was 15 pages long as a pdf and so complicated you’d need to be a genius to fathom it out. In fairness they did -when pressed- refund me as the pattern was incomprehensible.
They sell patterns that they have stolen from independent designers. I fell for their trick. Another review suggested doing a search for the garment on google before purchasing and then buying the item from the original designer.
STOLEN PATTERNS
Please do not buy from them, they sell patterns stolen from independent designers. My own patterns are sold as well.
If you like a pattern you see on this website, please do a google image search and buy the original.
purchased pattern and it was supposed to have video tutorial with it but of course it did not... then found out that it was a stolen pattern... DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM
They are selling stolen patterns from independent knitwear designers, some of these are mine. Please report them so that the website can be taken down - and remember to buy the original from the independent designers!
This company is stealing patterns from independent designers and selling them. I nearly bought from them but emailed them a query (three times) and of course never got a reply. Then I checked their office address, it is just a registered address for hundreds of companies. I so liked the pattern that I did a google image search and found the true designer. Do not buy from them!
Selling stolen patterns, one of them is mine - OGE Knitwear Designs. For all customers, please double check that the pattern you are purchasing is not a stolen pattern, they are breaching all Copyright/Intellectual Property laws by selling patterns they have stolen from designers, and in MOST CASES SELLING THEM FOR MORE THAN WHAT THE ORIGINAL OWNERS ARE SELLING THEM FOR. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on you.
Scam website selling stolen Barrett Wool Co. patterns.
