I was charged for a subscription renewal in June and then again in July. I needed verification of which subscriptions these were for. I have three grandchildren and each has a subscription. ( BTW - they all love their crates each month and often ask when the next one is coming)

My godchild absolutely loved his boxes when I would get them for his birthday. I cancelled the subscription 2 years ago, and have removed all billing information, and delivery information. At various intervals I am still being charged over 100 dollars for a box I didn’t sign up for, with all of my information removed. I have been in contact with them, and this is an ongoing issue. My next step is to block transactions from my bank account and file a dispute. This is incredibly disappointing, loved the product however I don’t like loosing a random 100 dollars and having to file a case each time and the issue never being resolved. Please don’t sign up unless you too would like to be in this awful purgatory.

My grandson loves his monthly crates! The gift subscription for my grandson renewed on July 1st. I emailed Kiwico after that date to request the 4th of July promotional discount that was being offered. A customer service person, Ken, promptly emailed me back and offered me a credit off of my next order, which I accepted. Ken was very professional and polite.

The first payment was normal that what you see you pay but after my 3 month subscription went over they reactivated the subscription without any question.
The payment after that was way more then normal! It wasn‘t the usully 80€ for 3 month. I payed 120€ for 3 month. And what i see was a company behind kiwico with reach (just google it). This company picked up my money from paypal!
And this comapny screams scam in your face when you look up their Reviews.

I had initially reached out via email about a concern with my subscription and was told by Lloyd there was nothing to be done. I then called and spoke with Ays who resolved the issue almost immediately. 0 stars for Llyod but 5 for Ays. I wish I didn’t have to go through to modes to resolve my issue, it would have been nice if it was taken care of the first time, but am appreciative it was eventually resolved.

I contacted them over a holiday weekend and both their virtual assistant and a regular person replied via email very quickly. They resolved the situation and I didn’t have to wait until Monday morning to get the issue resolved.

We subscribed for our 3 yo grandchild. The kits were "good". Kept her occupied or ~60, minutes total/kit including assembly time and playing with it. So not worth the money. I forgot to cancel prior to the year end, and noticed the renewal bill on my credit card. They would not let me do a partial year and refund part of the renewal. So stuck with another year. I cancelled immediately.

I never received my first crate after waiting almost two months; I reached out to the support team and the replies with action steps on KiwiCo's part were incredibly prompt. My issue was resolved quickly and kindly within twenty-four hours. Very impressive. Thank you!

The customer service rep Camille did great!! She looked into the issue, fixed it and reassured me it shouldn’t happen again. She even sent me a replacement crate and upon realizing I didn’t need it she told me to keep it or donate it or gift it to someone who could use it. Great customer support!

I stopped the subscription from my account page and Kiwico themselves reactivated the subscription and then debited the money! It's like forced sales! I don't recommend this dubious practice.

#1 Prepaid 12 month subscriptions and others are NONREFUNDABLE! On the checkout page click on the very tiny ? to read the fine print. Very disappointing. The kits are too difficult for my granddaughter.
UPDATE: Now that my granddaughter is a bit older, and has more time as school os out. She is enjoying the kits at this time, and she looks forward to getting them.

Terrible customer service, great toys.
Our experience in summary was:
1. Got delivered the wrong toy
2. Refused to give the real toy
3. We thought about cancelling, but mistakes happen. We wrote a bad review.
4. Kiwi reached out, they cancelled our yearly subscription, and asked us to pay more than what we originally paid for a resub.
6. We told them to go themselves
In summary: I cannot recommend giving money to this company, even if the toys are great - you just don’t treat people like this.
Also: their comment is wrong, no refund for the toy, promotion was just whatever promotion was at the time. Avoid them. Support is gaslighting
