Kitties staycation Reviews

Abs looked after our two cats for 6 days and did a really fab job. She is super thorough and we felt at ease knowing our cats were getting lots of attention whilst we were not there. Abs left the house super tidy, even sweeping the floor! Will definitely use again.

We are really pleased with the service offered by Abs - we’ve not used a cat sitter before for our two cats, but Abs was so good at communication, from the first contact all the way through the process. We felt really reassured with all the pictures of the boys, and messages from
Abs about how they were doing. Really pleased with the service and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. Most importantly we came home to happy, healthy cats!!

What a lovely lady! Very very thorough and communicative from the first step of signing up my kitten for sitting to the final day of home visits. With a new addition of our lovely kitten Abs also gave us plenty of recommendations to keep our little man as happy as possible while away and day to day. Her love for cats shines through and will certainly book for future occasions. Thankyou so v much!

Abs was brilliant. Couldnt have been any better. Very friendly and relaxed yet proffessional and detailed. Detailed website and info, visited us to explain everything, sent us a message when she arrived and a pic or video with the happy cat and very timely and tidy. Most importantly cat was very happy on our return.

Thanks, will be sure to use again

We have just left Bean our kitten for the first time. I was really apprehensive about it, then we met Abs! She put our minds at rest straight away and was clearly very professional and dedicated to cat care and safety. The regular pics and videos were brilliant and we looked forward to getting them twice a day. Bean has clearly been loved and brilliantly taken care of for the week and we are so grateful.
We will definitely be calling on Abs again when we go away in the future! Thank you Abs!😻xx

We were really anxious about leaving Simba for the first time but there was no need to be! Abs did an amazing job looking after him with photos and videos of him sent to us every day. Simba was really happy and got lots of playtime and cuddles! I would highly recommend Abs to anyone who is looking for a cat sitter. Thanks Abs!

I was very nervous about leaving my baby boy Bailey but I had absolutely no reason to be. Abs was incredible with him, I could see from the regular updates that he was having plenty of cuddles and loads of playtime. Bailey was well looked after, new toys even and he was a very happy settled boy when I got home.

Absolutely fantastic cat sitter!!
We rescued Ziggy from being a kitten and he's always been an anxious boy. The last time we went on holiday a previous sitter neglected him and he ended up in the vets with cystitis. I was eager to find someone who would take his care seriously and was delighted when I found Abs. She sent regular updates, kept the house spotless and Ziggy was such a happy boy when we came home! I will only ever use Kitties Staycation in the future. Honestly can't recommend enough. He got new toys, plenty of treats and cuddles and was so settled when we came home.
Abs - thank you for your amazing service 🐈‍⬛🐾

Abs did an excellent job of looking after our cats. We had regular updates on how they were doing and the cats were calm and very settled when we returned. We would definitely use Abs again.

We have never left our cat with anyone other than family, but recently had to rely on Abs for a couple of overnight stays. We didn’t need to worry, our cat clearly adored Abs from the start, who kept us fully up to date throughout her stay. Seamless process from start to end. Couldn’t have asked for more. We returned home to a very happy cat and would not hesitate to use Kittie’s Staycation at any point in the future. My only hesitation in leaving a review is that it might result in Abs being too busy to stay in our home with our much loved cat when we need her!

I have been using Kitties Staycation since I moved to the area and cannot recommend Abs enough. She is professional, competent and always puts the cats welfare at the forefront. On each trip I receive regular updates and photos and she makes sure to spend plenty of time with my 3 cats.
She leaves the house spotlessly tidy and even takes out the bins.
I cannot recommend Kitties Staycation enough, I have already made future bookings and will continue to look to Abs whenever I need a cat sitter.
Thank you so much 😊

We used Abs for the first time this weekend whilst we were away overnight. From the first meeting onwards, Abs was great. Her passion for cats shines through and she couldn't be more helpful if she tried. I got photos throughout and our boys were relaxed and happy when we got home. Highly recommended.

I was extremely anxious about leaving our 2 elderly cats, Murphy and Milo.
Murphy has complex medical needs and requires medication and insulin injections twice daily, so is not particularly straightforward. However, Abs completely reassured me , with her caring but professional approach .
The messages and photos whilst we were reassuring and it was clear the boys were very happy and comfortable.
We are eternally grateful for Abs taking such good care of our precious boys to allow us to have family holidays.

We love our family cat George to bits but we still need to go away for ten days at a time, twice a year and every time that we do, we face the same terrible dilemma of what to do with him? George is a house cat and only ever goes out into the garden when we are present. He is a strange and unusual pet with traits that need a "certain level of understanding" and so simply placing him a cattery isn't an option.

We found Kitties Staycation on Facebook and we were extremely hesitant to have a stranger in our home looking after our beloved pet for ten days. However, without being flippant, we needn't have worried. Abs was absolutely brilliant with George. She sent us pictures every day and we could see that she was giving him the space that he needed whilst giving him the attention that he wanted when he wanted it. For the first time in a very long time we came home to a cat that, Yes he was upset and very needy because we had been away for such a long time but most importantly, he wasn't stressed or in distress. This has made a massive difference to our time away and we will definitely be using Kitties Staycation for all our trips away.

Thanks Abs, we know that George wont have been your easiest customer but you did a brilliant job!!

Abs is fantastic! Very reliable and always provides lovely updates.

I was extremely anxious about leaving my fur baby at home whilst we were away. I wouldn’t have been happy if someone was just popping in every so often. I met Abs a couple of days prior to us going away and she agreed to stay at our house for the three nights. She sent me photos and videos all the time which was so lovely to see him looking really happy. I would highly recommend Abs to anyone who would like a cat sitter. My furry baby was so content when we got home, I couldn’t have asked for more x

The worst part about going on holiday is leaving the cats home alone, but with Abs going in to look after them, we feel completely reassured that they are being well looked after. She is really lovely and very caring about the cats; our children love receiving the daily pictures and messages from Abs, showing that the cats are safe at home.
Abs has also helped us out by taking in parcels in our absence and checking that all is well with the house. She even looks after the plants. I wholeheartedly recommend Kitties Staycation.

Daily photos and that reassurance of a professional sitting service makes going away less stressful and more enjoyable for the cats too. Very pleased. Happily recommend.

Our cat is getting old and need to stay in a calm environment, going away was a stressful period for all of us but we found Abs who is a real professional Cat sitter. The administrative side is perfect, she has insurance and the method of payment is quite straight forward with official invoice.
When we go away for holidays, we can leave with peaceful mind. It is comforting to received here and there some pictures and updates about our cat. The food and litter area are always clean and the house as well. We entirely trust into Abs work. We highly recommend her for cat sitting in the comfort of your home.

Echo what Clare said Abs is lovely and so professional and we enjoyed receiving all her kitty pics.
She looked after Bonnie so beautifully that we were worried Bonnie wouldn’t want to speak to us when we got back😂😂
