I like Kit a lot better than Mailchimp, my previous list software. Kit is easier to use, and their support is 8000x more responsive and helpful than Mailchimp’s. As my audience grows I still feel like... See more

Kit focusses on the quality of my list (and not it's size)
Kit is clearly developed by people who are creators themselves. I like the fact that their features and pricing grow with my list size. However, they tend to focus on the quality of my list (and not it's size).
Simple and Clear
The simplicity of options and the clear interface has made Kit a dream for me in managing consistency. I also love having the Creator Network to expand growth!

My email is on auto pilot so I can focus on other areas of my business.
I send 160k emails and generate thousands of dollars a month - and I only write one email.
This is possible due to Kits automations segmentations.
What a let down
Set up a paid account to do drip emails for a digital product hosted on my company's website. Mentioned an affiliate link (for legit product) and all of a sudden, my account is disabled. I follow instructions to reinstate account and answer all questions asked by "customer support." I even offer to remove the one email that mentions affiliate products. Instead, I am told my "case will be kicked to another approval dept and could take 2-4 days. My company is legit and could be searched and immediately verified. Busy entrepreneurs don't have time for games. I offered to provide any and all info to verify my account. Awful experience. Glad I figured it out right away, instead of when the email drip campaign was live and integrated. Lesson learned: always build proprietary internal systems if you know how to - otherwise some algorithm could decide your account needs to be shut down at random.
DO NOT GO WITH KIT AND THEIR "FREE"…
DO NOT GO WITH KIT AND THEIR "FREE" PLAN. I signed up and after DAYS of emails not going through; they reach out asking a million questions like I am filling out a mortgage application or something before they approve. NOW I HAVE TO PAY MY WORKERS FOR THE TIME THEY WASTED WITH YOUR APP. BE TRANSPARENT ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE PEOPLE WASTE THEIR TIME.
Kit provides tools that work for me
Kit provides tools that work for me. It's truly the only email platform I recommend. Yes, it does cost a little chunk of change, but you get what you pay for.

Easy to use
Overall, I love Kit. It is easy to use for someone without a programming background. The technical support and searchable knowledge base are fantastic. I gave a four-star review because some key account navigation and reporting features could be more robust.
We moved over from MailChimp
We moved over from MailChimp, best move we've ever made. This platform offers so much and is so easy to use and work with.
A powerful creative marketing system.
Easy to use, yet accurate and powerful. Constantly evolving in a positive manner. It's far more than just an email handler for me, it's a super-charged creative marketing system which is still creative customer and email recipient focused.
Always adding new features!
What I love about Kit is how it constantly pushes the envelope with new features. It's like I think to myself "wouldn't it be great if Kit did ____?" and then suddenly, there's a sparkly new feature that does just that!
Incredibly supportive
Incredibly supportive - quick responses to questions & not just from the AI support function! Super easy to navigate and work with - and I love the concept of there being a network of creators all supporting each other.
I like it
I like it. It’s cost-effective. I moved from active campaign, which I liked because it was getting too pricey. The customer service at kit is great. I love the visual automations that they have. So far, everything is working great for me.
All around great product
All around great product. Everything you need, nothing you don't. Super simpme to use as well but you can pull off some crazy automations at the same time. I'll definitely keep using it for the foreseeable future to manage my email list.
Its not just about delivery service
Its not just about delivery, fancy emails, and stats. Its about customer service. and Kit delivers on all the above

Lack of Transparency, Functionality, and Ability to Tell the Truth
This platform has more than a few issues. It doesn't have the basic functionality that other platforms such as Constant Contact and Mailchimp have had for YEARS such as directly testing links in preview.
And last year, they raised their prices 50% without telling customers that email campaigns sent from their platform would not render in Outlook - affecting reach to the 1.2 MILLION companies that use Outlook. I confirmed this with Microsoft.
When you reach out to Kit support, they spend a ridiculous amount of time skirting around whatever the real issue is, often to cover up the fact that they have no idea how to fix their functionality issues.
It appears their focus has been on marketing and courting the so-called influencers" and building a creator network that is supposed to increase engagement, but does absolutely nothing. Paying these "influencers" is probably why the price hike was done.
Couple that with the complete and total arrogance of the support team, which will never admit that they don't have the technical expertise or capability to fix the issues that plague its platform. Just saying they disagree with Microsoft's assessment that the Kit platform is not compatible with Outlook, is supposed to gaslight customers into thinking they have any idea at all about what they're talking about. They won't even have a conversation with Microsoft to determine where the gaps are in their deliverability.
In sum, Kit is basically comprised of a bunch of toddlers cosplaying as experts in the email marketing space. They are incapable of sitting at the table with mature platforms like Outlook, or other IT specialists who troubleshoot compatibility issues for a global corporations on a regular basis.
Avoid Convert/Kit if you don't want the heartburn of having to re-platform when you find out the hard way how bad it really is.
Free version!
I love that there's a free version with enough functionality to dip my toes into growing my email list and publishing a weekly newsletter.
