I HAVE NOT ORDERED THIS OR EVER HAVE ORDERED ANYTHING ONLINE REQUIRING A CREDIT CARD (DON'T EVEN HAVE ONE) I PAY CASH, HOWEVER ANYTHING YOU ARE GOING TO PUT ON YOUR SKIN OR DOWN YOUR THROAT DON'T GIVE A CREDIT CARD NUMBER....SKINCARE, NUGENIX, LUME DEODERANT FOR YOUR CRACK (WALMART CARRIES IN STORE FYI), TOVALA, PFFT SPRAY, SAVE ANIMALS, ST JUDES, ETC.....EVERY TV PROMOTION AUTO CHARGES & AUTO SHIPS....CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD AND REPORT UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES AND CANCEL YOUR CARD - THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO STOP IT....DO NOT RETURN ANYTHING - THE CUST SVC GHOST WILL SAY THEY NEVER GOT IT - MAJORITY OF "SEEN ON TV" WILL BE PUT INTO WALGREENS AND ROSS DRESS FOR LESS EVENTUALLY.....I DON'T NEED A CREDIT CARD TO KNOW THIS - CREDIT COMPANY WILL REVERSE CHARGES - AND CANCEL CARD!!!

ELLEN MOVED TO ENGLAND LAST YEAR AND SHE ADVERTISES ON U.S. TELEVISION -

First, I must say the product is very good unfortunately their advertising and selling practices are very deceitful. When you see that ad on TV …the whole kit for $59…which is a great deal…be sure to know that once you buy that kit you are automatically signed up for a subscription and the next time you receive your product, it’ll be $96. This experience has made me stop using the product which is very good.

I wanted to cancel any future orders so I started a chat. No one ever got back to me . Very frustrating .

I returned the full order within 2 wks. Returned it 10/9/25. I was on hold 22 mins before hanging up. I want my credit for the return!!!!!

after you order the introductory kit, they automatically enroll you in a 3 month subscription at over $270. Without my knowledge.

I thought I was purchasing a trial sample for the advertised price. The small sample sized products will be charged to your account for just over $90.91 times three. For those with this business practice return containers for a full refund. This is the information received... To return your package, we recommend taking your package to your local post office. The return address is: Kind Science Returns, 6390 Commerce Court, Groveport, OH 43125. Please obtain a proof of mailing slip and hold on to the proof of mailing until you see your refund post to your account. Allow a return shipping timeframe for few business days and we will process a full refund of your any equivalent payment that you processed less shipping and handling and promptly remove any remaining balance on your account. I would definitely not recommend this company. I ordered the kit that had an additional $20.00 off. After the purchase I realized I did not receive the $20.00 off. I immediately called customer service and explained the situation and she said she would apply the $20.00 to my next order. I advised her that is not what I wanted. She reluctantly agreed and said could not give me the $20.00 back but she would cancel my order. Three days later I received an email that my order was on its way. I called customer service again and was told that only my account was cancelled and not my order. What? I said that is not what she told me and not what I reiterated at the end of the conversation. I asked her if I could return the products and if not then I would dispute the charge on my credit card. She said I could return the product. We will see how much of a hassle that will be. Update to come. I am no longer a fan of Ellen for allowing this business to to do these things.

My wife ordered a trial package which came. She called and cancelled . The next month we got a shipment, which we refused. The next two months Kind Science continued to make monthly charges on our credit card, even though nothing was shipped. These people are crooks!! DON'T DO BUISNESS WITH THEM.

I did not know this trial offer included products to be sent a month later costing over $300 and would be shipped and charged to my credit card without notice. Now I have to wait till I receive the product to be able to return them and then maybe they will process a refund.

I ordered the starter package for the 60 dollars. when I hit the confirm purchace I noticed that my old address was on the form. I immediately tried to contact customer service and couldn't get anyone. So I went online and opened an account with KS. There I changed my address to my current address and left 6 requests to customer service to change the address on my order to no avail. My purchase went to my old address and I guess the new owner of that house got a nice gift. I will not buy from this company ever again and I hope those that read this review know that there is no customer service so don't waste your money because if you have a problem it will not be resolved.

Kind Science uses hard sales tactics. I’m shocked that Ellen D would pressure people this way!! I received the small kit in August. I set my account next order for January 2026 ( 3 payments of $109 in Jan, Feb, March).
Today I had an Unauthorized charge on my credit card from Kind Science. I called customer service. She used her script to talk in circles and try to convince me to keep the current order. She asked why I want to cancel the current order. I kept telling her that I did Not place an order! Again told her my account was set to order in January!! I cannot afford this in my budget right now with the US Government shut down. Anyways, That is None of their business. I did not place an order today. Period. Ellen, these practices are unacceptable and I’m disappointed with how you run your business. No longer a fan.

Beware! You are not just buying a trial kit. You will be subscribed to a very expensive subscription that will be almost impossible to cancel. Poor customer service, no communication initiated by them. And when you are on their chat and try to talk to a manager after you have returned a shipment and ask for your money back, you will probably just be told to have a nice day and then ignored. It's been weeks. I am still waiting for my refund of well over $200. I did everything they told me to do to cancel this subscription, and I am still having the run around to get MY money back.

I wish I had read reviews before I bought this. The reviews are right: products in the starter kit are sample size (ie serum 0.3 oz) so shouldn’t be valued as a full kit. A lot of the products are in jars which is not stable. But most of all the subscription scam is outrageous. It is in no way clear you are signing up for a subscription—I avoid those and never would have bought if I knew, But yesterday I got a package in the mail and called to find out why. The customer rep James was very nice but the answers were shocking. I was to be charged around $95 a month over three months to pay for this one package! Then I’d get another package for $95 a month. I had to pay shipping costs and get my own label to return the package ($11.50 with insurance). James said he was making some sort of exception to refund me the $95 I already paid and cancel future payments and my subscription. I’m disappointed Ellen would associate herself with this sleight of hand. She’s a hero of mine. There are ethical ways to run a successful business, and this isn’t it.

I did not realized that this is a recurring order and how difficult it is to get out of it. I called customer service and a lady from India would not listen to me and constantly talked over me. I finally got her to listen when I told her I was getting my lawyer involved. I would never buy this product again because of the shady way they try to hook you in.

Dubious subscription practice, does not clearly state automatic subscription, and then takes money without letting customer know. Do not trust this company or do business with them.

This is a scam. Be careful. I trusted the product because Ellen Degeneres talks and talks About it promising amazing results and The website says you have 60 days to return the product if you are not satisfied, I inquired about a return before a month had gone by as the product really don’t show any improvement at all and they Didn’t answer until after they had already charged me for a second shipment and they Said that I still have 2 more shipments for $188 and i Will get them and i Will be charged. They are forcing a product that I don’t want and they Won’t cancel the shipment. It is dissapointing that Ellen Degeneres recommended it but in the website they lie and wont Comply with the policy.

I just opened my SAMPLE sized package of kindscience products, advertised as 279$ worth of products for 79$ but gee gee we are giving it away for 59$ plus two gifts. I got one. The “facial cleaning brush” only.
One tube put up to the light, is half full. Tested or am I to assume like a bag of popcorn just does that! A jar does not have a protective coating on it before opening. Tested hmmm who knows? And the worst the eye cream is not in the package.

Hah, seems like to me that they need to change the name! Ellen has NEVER looked worse than she does now! Wooof.

Their ad says over $250 if you bought individually but we are giving it to you at $59. Not entirely true because the introduction offer is for sample size products! So not available for individual purchase and not valued at $200+
