Signing up to Sophie Howards KPI Course…
Signing up to Sophie Howards KPI Course is a rip off. Training on how to be an independent publisher is made out to be a winning side hustle with the potential to earn big dollars. It's virtually impossible as Amazon is saturated with millions of publishers and even niching down 10 fold will not get you on page 1. So they encourage you to spend another $10,000 to get one on one coaching but nowhere is there any word on the other costs along the way for the many, many tools and apps you need. A total rip-off and has virtually bankrupted me. Don't do it.

It's very expensive to join and then further expenses are required to pay ghost writers, cover designers and advertising with Amazon.
Also don't be fooled by the 180 day money back guarantee - it has very strict requirements that you must meet to get your money back.

I purchased this service and started all in. About 1 month later my dad's cancer spread to his bones and his lymph nodes. He was then placed on hospice. My sister and I help to care for him and want to spend as much time as possible with him. Due to this change I requested a refund of my payment well within the money back guarantee listed. I have received an email stating that it was forwarded to the correct department for evaluation but have heard nothing more since then (that was 2 weeks ago). I hope to hear from them soon. I feel the program is good and the instructions are comprehensive. The timing for me is not good. I hope they honor my request.

Very useful, but room for improvement
The company has a great intro set-up, and the available courses are very useful, but the weekly Q&A is only useful if you have specific questions, and I've had trouble logging into the other weekly calls due to time difference. I think it would be great if Sophie could highlight students who couldn't afford to join KP-Express as well as those who could. That said, I'm just approaching my first book publication, so this will likely smooth out as I go. Thank you.
