Avoid at all costs, Misleading Return Policy, No customer support.

Beware of buying from Keychron Canada! Their return policy hides the fact that if you open the box, you’ll have to pay $150+ to ship it back to China—even though they ship from Canada. Customer support was dismissive, offering me a laughable $15 “compensation” instead of a real solution. So buy if you already love their product and not planing to try them.

To make it worse, they delete negative reviews from their website, so you only see the good ones. Shady business practices—avoid at all costs!

On the advice of friends

On the advice of friends, I decided to buy a keyboard. Keychron Q6 Max price 200 euros + shipping to Europe. Upon receipt, I immediately noticed that one key "W" does not work correctly, the click does not work or works twice with one press. I contacted technical support - they said to reinstall the drivers. I did this, it became a little easier for a couple of days and then again. For about a year now, I have been using a keyboard for 250 euros in which the button does not work. As you understand, it is unrealistic to use it for either work or games. This was the first and last purchase from this brand

Total Scam

Terrible communication, the website looks allright but, they just acknowledged the order, no shipment information, no changes, seems like a total scam. I used keychron.mx and it is a GOOGLE sponsored website, which would make it a serious vendor, I am sure now it is a total scam. Do not buy from this vendor at all, you will loose your money!

The software is buggy

The firmware doesn't work correctly/is buggy.

- Switching layers doesn't work correctly on the Q3 Max. There is only one specific version of how to switch layers. Other options, provided by their own software and also by VIA, don't work. I only figured it out after resetting the device.

- NKRO is sending multiple button presses on Q3 Max (example: qfhfeherziirwzzitwtuwtuiuh = actual input of 10 keys at the same time, which should register every key only once). 6KRO works, though. That's enough for me/most people, but Keychron claims to support NKRO (N = as many buttons as I want), which is a lie.

- The Q0 Max Numpad's layers don't work correctly. You can use them, but you need to carefully disable the previous layer before activating another layer. Otherwise, the software gets stuck in a weird configuration where every layer is activated and none at the same time.

- Q0 Max + Q3 Max = one full keyboard. However, they don't work together properly. Alt codes only work 50% of the time. Layers cannot be switched across keyboards and they also can't connect with each other's 2.4 GHz adapter.

VIA doesn't work for either of the devices out of the box. You need to mess with JSON files to get this to work. It's not a big deal, but it's annoying. The reason for this is that Keychron doesn't care to register their devices at VIA.

- Firmware version is still 1.0.0. There is no firmware update since the release, which shows that Keychron doesn't care.

- Bluetooth doesn't work for gaming, as it seems to have connection issues. Buttons are not always registered (99% are, but that 1% is annoying for a >200 Euro keyboard). Other Bluetooth devices in my house, don't show this issue. Bluetooth isn't a good connection for input devices, but I encountered this issue very quickly, which is a red flag for me. Also, the Battery is much faster drained when it operates on Bluetooth mode.

Apart from software issues, there are also other downsides:

- No feet to raise your keyboard.

- No adapter notch/holder. (So annoying!)

- No off-switch. The Keyboards stay on until they eventually fall asleep.

- Q0 Max has no battery indicator. While connected via 2.4 GHz, there is no way to check your device's battery. (Windows only reads for Bluetooth or USB connected devices.) Other brands show the battery in their software (e.g. Razer), the Q3 Max offers a battery check feature that works with LEDs, which hasn't been implemented into Q0 Max.

- The connection switch and Mac/Windows switch are as cheap as they can get. They don't match the "premium" appearance at all. Switching between 2.4 GHz and USB is very tricky. I suppose this is what this keyboard will die from. If it is broken, you need to solder a 3-pin switch on a PCB. That's not that easily done with a regular soldering iron. Again, Keychron doesn't care.

- I can also confirm these support issues others complained about. They didn't even reply after 3 emails, when I was asking for help.

I'm done with Keychron. Hardware is not thought through, software is buggy, and support doesn't care about my issues.

Avoid this company - *** NO DELIVERY ***

Ordered a keyboard from Keychron and no mention of the product being despatched from China. 10-days after ordering, the product reached the port (in China) and was sent back to Keychron. Disgraceful support, customer service non-existent and paying UK prices plus delivery for a product that takes a long time to arrive and never reaches you. Avoid this company!

Great keyboards, no customer service

The customer service at this company is non-existant. All I want to do is unsubscribe from marketing emails (which you will be spammed with forever if you buy anything from them). The unsubscribe link on the emails does not work, suppport emails and live chat go unanswered. Thankfully I don't have a problem with my keyboard which is great - as are all the keyboards I've got from them.
If you're going to buy a keycron product, do yourself a favour and order it from amazon!

Not delivered

I ordered a £200 keyboard from Keychron, and after it arrived in the UK, the tracking stopped updating. It has now been over 7 days without any updates. I reached out to Keychron UK for assistance, but I have yet to receive any response. After much frustration, I decided to open a dispute through PayPal.

If you're in the UK, I highly recommend purchasing from a local retailer that stocks the keyboard you're after, as dealing with Keychron directly has been a significant hassle. The lack of support and communication is especially disappointing for a product of this price range.

Update (14/02): Despite several attempts to contact Keychron via their web forms, email, and PayPal, I have received no tangible response. The only communication I’ve received from them was an email saying, “I will check with logistics,” which has now been over two weeks ago. The tracking has been stagnant for almost a month.

After Keychron disputed my PayPal claim, they sent me an email asking if I wanted a replacement. This is quite telling of their level of customer service and support.

Keychron deletes netagive reviews on their website

I left a disapointing review for the Keychron C2 Pro I bought juste over a year ago. However Keychrons is purposly censoring negative reviews (google it) so I must warn people to not buy from them.

Here is the review I published on their website, gave it 2 stars :
I bought this keyboard due to the many positive reviews about Keychron and because I was looking for a 100% keyboard. As for the build quality, it's adequate, good enough for its price. However, I find that the typing feel is not pleasant. Despite adding foam inside to enhance the experience, the keyboard feels toy-like in use.
What's more frustrating is that even after a year, I continue to make countless typing errors, an issue I never had with my previous Razer keyboard. With the Keychron, I regularly encounter extra spaces, double letters, or activations of two keys at once, which doesn't happen when I revert to my Razer keyboard.

In summary, I have mixed feelings about this Keychron keyboard. If I had to choose again, I don't think I would buy it. I'd rather try another brand or go back to my previous keyboard.

Poor Quality Products and Shocking Customer Service

I purchased a Keychron mouse and experienced issues from day one, as the USB-C dongle would not work. After several attempts, I finally received a response from customer service asking for a video to confirm the fault, which I provided immediately. They then offered to send a replacement mouse if I agreed to pay the postage cost. I reluctantly agreed but, since then, they’ve stopped replying to my emails entirely.

After checking Trustpilot, I discovered I’m far from alone—many others have experienced faulty products and the same appalling lack of communication from their customer service team.

The products are cheaply made, and the customer service is shockingly bad. I deeply regret my purchase and wish I’d seen these reviews beforehand. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Brand new keyboard = 5 dead switches

Bought a brand new Keychron V1 Max that took two weeks to arrive. When I received it, I noticed after 2 minutes that 5 keys of the keyboard get stuck when you press them and don't pop back as the others do.

I've send them three emails so far and i have yet to receive any answer. If I don't get any satisfactory answer (ie : send me new switches) in the following week, I'll initiate a refund through paypal.

Zero customer support - I'm left alone with a defect on arrival

After receiving a defective K10 keyboard I contacted Keychron several times through their German support email and their own chat box on their German website. Guess what: no response whatsoever, not even after several weeks of sending reminders. Stay away from Keychron, they literally have no customer support, and you'll be completely left alone, if their product is defective.

Absolutely Terrible support!

I purchased a Keychron K3 Max in January 2024, all was great, the keyboard was solid and a pleasure to use with minimal setup required to get going. However 10 months in and it stops working after being charged from a USB cable plugged into my laptop. When plugged in Windows now reports that the keyboard is drawing too much power and the keyboard itself is completely dead with no amount of factory resets doing anything. My suspicion is the battery or a circuit has burnt out. I contacted Keychrons email support explaining the problem and requesting support under the 1 year warranty. A week later I get an email asking me to try a different cable and to video the problem. Quite how I video a keyboard doing nothing I don't know, but I diligently complied and follow their instructions just please to have had a response. 6 weeks later I am still sat here waiting for any kind of communication, anything would be more satisfactory than nothing even a big old f*** you that I can get angry about. I have followed requesting updates and I may as well have been asking my cat for all the good that has done. I am severely disappointed that for a £100 product to fail inside of 10 months the support is significantly lacking and I am now having to consider purchasing a replacement from an alternative supplier because I fully expect to be ignored by Keychrons customer support. Whole I love the product (when it worked) I would not recommend Keychron as a company to anyone based on the level of service received so far!

Keychron's customer service leaves much…

Keychron's customer service leaves much to be desired. While their keyboards are well-designed and functional, their support team is notoriously unresponsive and unhelpful. Customers often report delayed replies or no response at all to inquiries about faulty products or missing orders. Replacement parts and refunds are difficult to obtain, with support staff providing vague or inconsistent answers. Many users also experience frustration navigating their poorly organized warranty process. This lack of accountability tarnishes an otherwise reputable brand, leaving loyal customers feeling abandoned. If customer service is a priority for you, Keychron might not meet your expectations. [Still haven't received my product and refusing to refund shipping or replace.] Been over 20 days.
