The product itself is wonderful, but the assistance from the team is even more outstanding. We had to change the account of our Keycafe and Dimitri helped us though all this process via call. When we had our old boxes replaced with new ones, he guided us too and made sure everything was working properly. Before all these changes, we didn't really have any major issues with the boxes either.

This is the worst company ever! This system is not easy to work and I’ve lost numerous showings because of other agents not being able to access the key. Plus, at $10 every time someone takes the key this can end up being very costly. Never in 25 years has anybody had to pay to access keys to show listings. The building management has been advised of these issues and hopefully they will allow the old reliable lockbox system.

Used key cafe in France. The pickup went OK. Trying to return the keys was a problem the provided code read not found. Host (BnBhost) is withholding 200 euro from my deposit.

If there were zero stars, they would get zero. It's such a basic functionality, unlock, get key, return key, yet it's amazingly simple to lock everyone out of ever getting the key and with no way to fix it without an administrator. Why? I'm trying to think of a worse way for the system to work and I cannot come up with one.

KeyCafe's service for Airbnb rentals is very unreliable, in many ways. It has caused us several bad reviews. Their software-network that syncs bookings often fails. The hardware part keeping the keys CONSTANTLY fails. The website is zero intuitive, and overly complicated for the goal that is trying to achieve. The network of locations that house their lockboxes have no commitment with KeyCafe's HQ and often fail to provide their end of the bargain, which is simply being open at published business hours. Keycafe's billing is also very user unfriendly, it's either a yearly plan or some sort of buying credits in advance at their own terms which you can't opt out, and then you have a bunch of duplicated invoices for credits and charges - accounting nightmare. Cherry on top is their customer service, completely inept and unable to resolve any issues timely. I only use it because it's my only option.
