The worst customer service of any company I have ever experienced - being “provided” almost entirely by AI.

Got a problem and want to live chat? It’s a bot. Email them? Bot. Phone them? Bot.

On the EIGHTH working day after raising an issue which was caused by THEIR system and 6 contact attempts since, they finally emailed me assuring me I was now speaking to a real person.

However, the “real” person sounded suspiciously like ChatGPT:

“I’ve gone right through your account and order history, and I want to start by saying this clearly: you were right to be frustrated. You did everything you could to prevent this, and the delay in getting a proper human response made it worse.

Here’s exactly what’s happened and what I’ve done today: …”

That is EXACTLY how AI speaks. ChatGPT specifically.

Also, what they “did” was exactly the opposite of what I asked for. Asked for a refund, they sent products. They’ve closed the ticket. I’ve emailed them. Just 8 more days to wait for a response …

No doubt they will respond to this review with some AI generated refutation / accusation which I welcome since it’ll make themselves look even worse.

One word for this company? : Lazy!

Why bother to have a business if you can’t be bothered to interact with customers???

Ketosource used to be a wonderful company, both to purchase from and to be in contact with. Alas no more it would seem.

It used to feel like the team genuinely cared for clients and it even hosted free online events so you felt part of a community.

Now it's nothing more than a sales driven company that uses AI responses to talk to customers.

I purchase the Pure C8 MCT Oil regularly on Amazon but it's been getting more and more expensive over the years so decided to try Nature's Aid instead. The quality is exactly the same, my blood ketone levels have not changed since using NA, and it's far cheaper!

What is interesting is that when asked, a Ketosource employee stated they buy in the oil from abroad and just bottle and package it. So it's probably the exact same product as Natures Aid!!

Update: the response received from Ketosource is worrying for several reasons.

That it is suggested my experiences in my ketone levels are inaccurate, although I have been testing using a blood monitor for years, I am well versed in the ketogenic diet and MCT Oil, and find it rather insulting my experience should be considered to be wrong.

There is no obligation to respond to a business request for more information - why should I provide them with more personal information? This does not mean the review is not genuine, it simply means I do not wish to provide them with opportunity to contact me directly.

I have purchased products from them, and am simply relaying my experience to others. Should Trustpilot wish to see proof I have purchased from the company I will happily provide it to Trustpilot.

Olivia responded to my query, which was not a straightforward one, with loads of insights and supportive advice.

I’ve struggled with my weight on/off all my life. Unless someone changes their lifestyle, the long-term benefits are short lived.
Being in touch with Olivia, the nutritional analyst at Ketosource has been beneficial.
I was able to open up and not feel judged, which is so important.

Initially the information on the website about the product and its use was very in-depth and gave a lot of detail compared to others so I decided to give it a try. Delivery was quick and again the level of information was better than average including a link to a video explaining everything in simple terms. I had one question and so emailed the help address, I got a response within a few days and the person (Oivia) was really helpful and answered my query. I am 2 weeks in and using the product exactly as directed...I am losing weight (10lbs in 2 weeks), it curbs my hunger, and most importantly I am losing fat from around my stomach area meaning already clothes are fitting better. There is no taste or smell and I am drinking it in either warm water or with black tea/coffee. I have just ordered my second bottle ready for next week and continued success. I can't recommend this enough.

I purchased pure C8 MCT Oil. The product itself is excellent and arrived quickly. But what I want to tell you is about their product support, which is AMAZING!! Because I am not using the product for a keto diet and weight loss, I had a few detailed and technical questions to make sure I am using the product correctly and getting the maximum benefit from it. Oliva from the product research and development team was OUTSTANDING!!! She answered ALL my many questions promptly and professionally and even provided links for me to do additional research. THIS IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ONE SHOULD HAVE FROM ANY COMPANY!! Thank you Olivia and thank you Ketosource!! BTW, I highly recommend the product! :-)

The Email I received wasn't a standard email which is sent to all customers. It was written to me personally and with lots of care and consideration. This is very rare nowadays. How wonderful to experience this. Thankyou so much!

Great product, tastes good, lovely packaging. What was above and beyond with this product is the customer service and support. For anyone who is wanting to lose weight they have supporting information too. I want to say a special thank you to Olivia who went the extra mile with her professional and friendly e-mails.

I was early into a fasting and exercise plan but things were not going exactly as planned which made me really anxious.
I replied to one of their daily emails with a description of my issues.
Olivia got back to me with a comprehensive explanation of what was going on and some helpful guidlines which was greatly reassuring.

I've used Ketosource products on and off for a while, originally I came across them via LMNT as they were a UK source for this. Latterly as I've started a gym programme after losing weight with keto I have been using their C8 powder.

I recently found them really useful when troubleshooting some body composition and appetite issues - after a year of successful weight loss I did a personal review, used their online calculation tools and zeroed in on an electrolyte issue. This reversed my issue and I continue to gain strength while managing my weight. A rather lengthy email exchange with their nutritional analyst Olivia clarified my conclusions.

I had a query and Olivia was very thorough and helpful.

I ordered LMNT electrolytes from Ketosource. The product arrived on time, as described and the email updates throughout the ordering process were excellent. I have since taken advantage of the discounted price through their easy to manage subscription service so I don’t forget to reorder as these electrolytes have had a huge impact on my energy levels throughout the day. 5 stars from me for both LMNT and Ketosource for offering such a clean and simple way to get hold of a U.S based product that can be hard to come by in the UK. Thanks Ketosource.

Ordered a LMNT product from ketosource.co.uk back in 27/06/23 Still haven't received the product. They refuse to reply to emails, and no refund of the 108€ i spent on the product. Very little hope of getting the product or the money back.

If I could I would give 0 to -5 stars.

I have been using Ketosource MCT oil for a few years and for me the oil is ideal. My morning starts with a double espresso and a shot of MCT oil. Then I ask myself the question "do I feel hungry?" sometimes yes and sometimes no. when no I'll forego breakfast and use the 8 hour eating window starting about 1pm.
If anyone is on the keto regime I would recommend a food intolerance test. It worked for me.

Omg what can I say, I am no novice to the Keto diet but I am to MCT Oil and Ketosource, Damien and his friendly team checked in with me every day for 28 days keeping me motivated when in the past, on this diet I have slipped off the wagon so to speak, it was like having a personal trainer but not in the physical way, I am so impressed with this company I have purchased a second Bottle of the MCT Oil, I now only have 6 lbs to lose to get to my goal thank you Damien & Team I miss your daily emails now I’m all grown up and can do it all by myself 🤗 xxxx

After my last review ,which I have to apologise for, as it was my mistake for not ordering the Pure C8 MCT Oil in a glass bottle ,apparently there is a choice of bottle which I failed to see.
I was very impressed with Ketosource response,I was sent a very gracious email by Natalie,I never had such an amazing response in no way accusatory by any company before in my whole life and she sent me a replacement Pure C8 MCT oil in a glass bottle .
I am truly impressed and will continue to use Ketosource .
I hold my hands up I was wrong the first time around.

Some companies really disappoint when it comes to customer service. Not Ketosource. I contacted them about an issue with my order. Not only did Natalie replace the item for me, she also went above and beyond by refunding me too! I hope Ketosource knows what an asset they have here, she provided me with a service I won't forget. I'll be a repeat customer for sure!
