What a beautiful campus!

The campus is beautiful, with great views and plenty of green space, making it a really enjoyable place to spend time. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, especially the library and sports areas.

What stands out most is the range of events and extracurricular activities. There’s always something going on, from societies to social events, and there's great parking too.

It has a great sense of community overall!

complaint

The administration is not working well! I'm an angry parent and that's where my simplistic child comes out. They concluded the evaluations and awarded her a diploma with unrealistic results. When a complaint was submitted accompanied by medical documentation, no one paid attention, and all decisions were copy-pasted. There is also no information for parents or an email for questions. we are very upset!

Very poor administration

I would like to understand why Kent University requires a £5000 deposit from international students before conducting the interview, especially when many applicants are likely to be rejected. Wouldn't it be more efficient to request this payment only after acceptance to avoid unnecessary money transfers and communications?

Additionally, I am concerned about the delay in processing the refund. It has been over three months since the rejection, and we have yet to receive the deposit back.

Outstanding university!

Kent is an outstanding institution in every respect! Firstly, it could hardly be better situated: set on a hill overlooking the city and cathedral the campus is simply stunning. Secondly, the staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. It is this combination which makes the university so great!

Terrible lecturers, best avoided!

I attended here to do a software engineering course. I had never done coding before, so I went to the lecturers for help. What did I get back? I was told to just 'keep going' and that I would 'get it.' I was told this every time, until the point a senior lecturer told me to give up and drop out of the course.

However, it turns out there was help available, and that lecturers had to do was tell me. I guess my £9,500 a year tuition fee wasn't enough to have somebody whose job it is to help me actually make the smallest amount of effort to help me.

It says a lot that these lecturers in software engineering were unable to cope with the most basic computer issues. If the slightest thing went wrong they were completely unable to cope.
