I'm a designer and photographer with over 25 years experience in the creative industry. My style is journalistic and I photograph stills and behind the scenes for film, theatre, concerts, music, tv productions, sports, events and festivals. I also shoot portraits, graduations and headshots. In addition to my photographic work I make photowalk videos for fun and publish them to YouTube, nothing fancy but it's a great exercise in observation.

Used Keith twice, would recommend!

Used Keith twice for my Airbnb business, he always delivers professional quality photos and his style of photography is well suited to present the properties at best.

Easy to work with and friendly, would highly recommend!

An exceptional experience from start to finish - thoughtful, professional, and visually outstanding

Keith Symons photographed my Cambridge graduation on 5th July 2025, and I can say without reservation that working with him was the best decision I made for the day. Every element of the experience - from first contact to the final delivery of the edited gallery - was handled with thought, care, and professionalism.

Before the shoot, Keith set up a shared moodboard that allowed us both to contribute ideas and preferences in advance. That kind of collaboration meant we had a clear shared vision before the day itself, and it made the whole process feel intentional and personal from the outset.

On the day, Keith was calm, composed, and quietly present - offering light direction when appropriate but always letting things unfold naturally. He captured everything: the formal academic moments, the relaxed family shots, the quiet in-between glances - all without ever feeling intrusive. His ability to read the mood of a moment and frame it just right was remarkable.

What truly set Keith apart, though, was the quality and care he put into the final product. The online gallery he produced was visually stunning - incredibly well-organised, with clear sections (individual portraits, family photos, behind-the-scenes, etc.) and a refined aesthetic that made the whole experience of viewing and sharing the photos seamless. The editing work was outstanding: the colours were rich but natural, the tones consistent, and every image felt polished without ever appearing overdone. The attention to detail was clear in every frame.

Even after the gallery was delivered, Keith went above and beyond. When I noticed that a stray image with a bottle cap had mistakenly been included, he immediately reviewed, corrected, and re-uploaded the edited version - updating the full gallery to ensure the set was visually consistent. That kind of follow-up - thoughtful, prompt, and thorough - really left an impression.

It was also clear how much time and effort had gone into the editing process. These weren’t just quick touch-ups; each photo had been individually reviewed, refined, and made to look its best. The work felt deliberate, crafted - and it showed. I genuinely felt like my graduation mattered to him, not just as a client job, but as something worth capturing with integrity and care.

If you're looking for a photographer who not only has technical skill but brings real care and pride to their work - someone who listens, collaborates, and delivers a truly high-end final result - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Keith. He gave me a permanent record of a milestone moment that I’ll always be proud to look back on.

Thank you again, Keith - it was a pleasure.
