I was a customer of 10 years
I was a customer of 10 years; a major investment. I used the help support online to ask about cancelling my policy and was never informed of 10 days notice. I was given vague direction to better to cancel about a week before so there's processing time. When I did try to cancel you get directed to a consultant that sets a time with you for a review of your account. You have to wait for the appointment When I cancelled my account 2 days prior when I spoke to the consultant they refused it and said i was to be charged an entire new month AUD455. That's the level of appreciation for 10 years of being a loyal customer - quite clear they have no moral compass. Don't go near them
Keap is supposed to help you grow your…
Keap is supposed to help you grow your company. They have stunted mine. They’ll hold your clients information hostage and charge you for an app that doesn’t work.
Charging fees without reason, stalling to avoid chargebacks, Terrible!
I used this service for over a year. After my card expired and I didn't make payments for 2 months, my account EEE533 was closed. I asked them to reopen my account and restore the data. I agreed to pay the outstanding amount for those 2 months and accepted that I might not recover the data. Later, as you know, my account couldn't be restored, and I accepted that.
But the problem is, even though I no longer had a Keap account, they still charged me $178 from card number 452******2975 in the following month when I wasn’t using their service. After sending multiple emails, they told me a Partner Success Manager would contact me, but the strange thing is, why do I have to deal with someone else when Keap is the one charging my fee?
And another thing, this Partner Success Manager scheduled meetings during the hours when I’m asleep. After sending more emails, I didn’t receive any further information. The service is truly terrible, charging fees for no reason.
Be careful with your money when using Keap's services. This is a sincere warning from someone who has used their service.

Do not use keap they have terrible customer service and will auto renew your account even if you don’t want to stay with them. Cost me $2500
Would not recommend
Would not recommend. They sold us a package which we were locked in for a year. Their pipeline tool was then mothballed and we could not report any meaningful analytics. So was basically just a list and email builder. Terrible- moved elsewhere.
Been a customer since 2021 they…
Been a customer since 2021 they announced a price increase for templates (NO NEW ACTUAL FEATURES) by about $600 a year.
The worst thing is they did this 350 words deep into an email, that doesn't even mention in the subject line that theres a price increase.
Terrible, avoid at all costs.
The company is a complete rip off. The only people signing you up to this is because they're getting a hefty referral bonus and ongoing commissions. Cancelling is a nightmare. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY and if someone is recommending you use it, I think you should not work with them either.
"Stay Away from Keap (formerly Infusionsoft) - Rip Off Company!"
I have been a loyal customer of Keap (formerly Infusionsoft) for over 8 years, and my recent experience trying to cancel my subscription has been nothing short of infuriating and deceitful.
Firstly, Keap has removed the option to cancel your subscription directly from their website. Instead, you're forced to contact their support team, which is already a hassle. When I finally reached out to cancel, I was met with a shocking process designed to manipulate and retain customers against their will.
Upon requesting cancellation, I was redirected to a specialist operator whose sole purpose seemed to be convincing me to stay. They employed aggressive tactics to discourage my decision to cancel, making the process incredibly uncomfortable and time-consuming.
Even after persistently insisting on cancellation, Keap's policies are structured in a way to penalize customers. They require a minimum of 10 days' notice before the renewal date to avoid being charged for an additional month. In my case, this additional charge amounted to a staggering $1800, despite my cancellation request being made well before the renewal date.
After 8 years of faithful payments to Keap, I expected better treatment as a departing customer. Instead, they chose to exploit my situation and charge me for services I no longer wanted or needed.
I strongly advise anyone considering Keap's services to steer clear. Their business practices are predatory and unethical. It's evident they prioritize squeezing every last dollar out of their customers, even at the cost of integrity and customer satisfaction.
Avoid Keap at all costs. There are plenty of reputable and customer-friendly alternatives in the market. Don't fall victim to their deceptive tactics. Stay well clear and protect yourself from their rip-off schemes!
Poor customer service
My perception is that Keap has issues concerning its corporate culture, and in particular the communication mindsets and approaches of its employees during their interactions with clients.
Keap appears to have a great product. I hope one day someone in the company recognizes and addresses the above.
They don't let you cancel
I tried to cancel for 20 days to no avail. Each time they say my rep will contact me and no one does. Truly a pathetic and over priced company. Other companies are charging less for a better service.

Big scam, same experience as others
Not so surprised that others had similar experiences. I did not sign up for this service, yet they continue to send me emails and letters demanding I make payments for this service. I repeat, I DID NOT sign up for this service. Now they have lawyers contacting me to make payments. I did make multiple attempts regarding why I was being charged for this and I was told they would cancel all of my payments as they discovered that my account was never used. However they instead sent me a request to make a payment despite having email proof of them saying that they would cancel all payments and that I did not owe them anything. This service is not trustworthy at all, stay away as far as you can.
Very pricey and steep learning curve.
Very pricey and steep learning curve.
I would not recommend unless you have an inhouse person to manage this full-time
Been doing business with them for years…
Been doing business with them for years now. Send them so much money. 20 days ago, information about our clients started disapearing (we noticed last week) from our database. Called them, they could not tell me why...they said they don't hold more than 2 weeks back of logs! They charge a lot of money and can't offer a quality service! They can't explain why contact record information is disapearing!
They also lie on their pages when it comes to reviews!! They lie about their Trustpilot reviews and Google Reviews!
How can you trust someone like this!
They support SCAMMERS than clients!
Tried numerous times to cancel payments that was taken by 3rd party scammer partner of Keap. Instead rhey sent me lawyers letter demanding payment! Unbelievable, they would rather support scammers!!! DO NOT USE KEAP!!!!!!!
We've been using Keap for years and got STUNG!
We've been using Keap for years and it's been a great help BUT BEWARE they will keep billing you for additional users after you have removed them. While not required to add a user, to remove them, you need to go into billing and submit a request! I'm out probably $5K over the years. I've only just discovered the issue.
Absolutely AWFUL
Absolutely AWFUL
API is so crap i cant work with it.
Tell it to return ALL is returns what it feels like, no conditions ALL and it misses entries left and right, ALL ...................................... developers really need to do something useful now.....
I was told by the call center that they can't help, I must waste hours of my time looking up how to use their crappy API that can't do a simple thing ........ why have a function called ALL when it doesn't return ALL????????????????????????????????????????????.
Let me go waste my time trying to make a simple thing work through your WONDERFUL platform
Outdated CRM, needs new features
Keap has goods and bads, the good points which I liked while using Keap were their dashboard, which was user-friendly, simplicity, their advanced automation was really cool and had many advanced features, I really liked that, it is something that can be difficult to get it in other CRMs.
Their customer service wasn't good neither bad, they helped sometimes. Keap lacks many important features for businesses, you cannot add more than one email address as a sender, you cannot send WhatsApp messages, lacks integrations with many apps like LinkedIn, and only US can get phone numbers.
Talking in marketing, they need to get more features to help businesses reach to their leads.
Overall, Keap is outdated and needs to improve, look at what other CRM systems are doing and adding to satisfy their customers.

It is expensive and difficult to use
It is expensive and difficult to use. Definitely not user friendly. They start you out well with nice support, but for busy business owners, it will be a real drag! After hiring two different companies to create campaigns, I found that it was not working for me. I finally found another person that could figure it out. It is a lot of work...not something you can typically do on your own. I kept the system for approximately 3-5 years. After not really using it for the last year or more, I cancelled the membership. KEAP had the nerve to charge me one last month and send it to collection because I cancelled without 30 day notice.

Really bad experience
I usually don’t leave negative reviews, as being a business owner myself, I am well aware that mistakes can happen. Though our experience with Keap went beyond an accidental mistake and after debating for a long time, I feel sharing my experience is absolutely necessary.
Long story short:
- We first spoke with a guy named Colin who was in charge of closing the sale. He seemed a very nice and friendly guy, though sometimes he sounded slightly generic about what our migration from our current autoresponder to Keap would entail.
- He was so nice we even bought an extra $500 of Keap coaching calls (shame on us for not waiting).
- He reassured us that our packed came with 15 hours of migration included and that everything we had on our current autoresponder, would be easily migrated within those 15 hours. Just to be sure, I repeatedly asked him confirmation (both on the call and in written form) that all our sequences, automations, contacts, templates etc could be migrated within those 15 hours. I am NOT a specialist person so clearly I trusted what he said. We submitted everything that we needed to migrate and were confident we were all on the same page.
- He also reassured us (since we explicitly asked) that there would not be hidden costs.
- A few weeks later, out of the blue, Keap asked us to pay more money, as the 15 hours were done and over with.
- At this point we still had quite a few assets to migrate. They claimed they had already went beyond the 15 hours and while some extra hours had been ‘’gifted’’ now we had to pay extra or take care of the migration internally (which clearly we were not equipped to handle considering it wasn’t part pf the plan).
- Even though I was already quite annoyed (considering the guy confirmed already multiple times that in 15 hours they could do everything) I reluctantly asked how much would that extra be. The answer was mind boggling: don’t even wanna share the final priced we would have to pay as it was just ridiculous (thousands and thousands of dollars).
- At this point Colin had started to ignore our emails. I called him several times and was told that our team was trying to take advantage of Keap migration team. Wait what?!? I kept my cool and asked to please meet in the middle (even tho this whole situation was entirely created by them) and he seemed confident we’d find a solution. After a few days of back and forth, and the Keap renewal approaching, we had no choice but to stop everything and close our account.
- We requested a partial refund (since they had done some work anyway and I wanted to acknowledge that) so I was referred to this lady called Lisa, who was supposed to ‘’help’’ with this. After speaking to her, instead of being issued a refund, we were charged £200 termination fee — like seriously?!?
- After complaining about that (since it was not written anywhere btw), we got refunded these £200 and that was the end of it.
- So we spent (wasted) 1200 - then got charged an extra £200 early termination fee and then refunded just that fee.
- At this point I was so annoyed but I was also determined to move on as quickly as possible. So I simply requested at least refund of the $500 ‘’Keap coaching calls’’ that we never even started (we were supposed to use them after migration was over).
- Our request was ignored and never addressed.
Again, I don’t leave this review light hearted, but this experience was really BAD. We wasted money and precious time (including the 30 mins spent to write this review).
Pls be very careful before you sign up with Keap, especially if the assets you got to migrate are quite articulated. Don’t just talk to the the sales person, whoever they are, and request to speak to the tech team and have a further confirmation on the migration costs (the REAL ones). Not sure that will be enough to spare you a similar saga, but one thing is for sure: we are migrating elsewhere.
