My bike failed at just 63 miles. What started as a simple clutch replacement turned into a major issue due to the motor cable at the axle failing and causing electrical problems.
I spent hours troubleshooting, including swapping motor, controller, display, and wiring harness with another identical bike. The issue still persists under normal riding conditions.
Support acknowledged the issue but refused to help beyond offering a small discount on parts, even at such low mileage.
This seems like a serious durability/design issue, and I would not expect this level of failure or repair complexity from a product with virtually no use.

I ordered A replacement set of keys and paid online. This was October. They denied my order ever was made and then found it and apologized offering me $10? It is now the middle of February and I still don't have my keys. I've been forgotten and also asked why I even need the keys? Why did they advertise items they can't produce? The customer service is terrible. They're true. Address is in Asia yet. If you purchase a brand new bike they can produce it in days. Don't buy KBO, You can't get help or local service anyway.
Unreliable – Two Bikes Broke in Two Years!
I really wanted to love KBO eBikes, but after two failures in two years, I can’t recommend them.
I bought my first KBO eBike, and after just one year, it completely broke down. To their credit, KBO replaced it with a new one. Unfortunately, the second bike also failed after a year of use!
This level of unreliability is unacceptable, especially for an expensive product that is supposed to last. If you're looking for a long-term eBike, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
When you purchase from a superior company!!…
When I purchased my bike with KBO I did not realize the above and beyond help they would extend when my bike unfortunately had a manufacture defect. I reached out to Leo who tirelessly helped me secure a repair shop and had KBO cover all the expenses. I honestly cannot thank him, the KBO team and its service center Himiway in LA for there professionalism and upmost superior help!
Avoid this bike at all costs
Avoid this bike at all costs, the QA for this is clearly bad, the break pads went out on me 2 months into me owning the bike and to top all of that off the battery is faulty, I have tried several times to contact kbo for warranty support and have never heard back from them, this bike could actually be the reason someone ends up 6 feet under.
Oasis is a piece of junk. No help from KBO
Purchased an OASIS in 2023. The front disc was sent bent and it took an act of god for them to send me a new part with a small refund for the cost i had to pay a bike mechanic to install correctly. This past month or so, the throttle decides to take off at any time. Even after stopping, which caused injury. After sending pictures, the replacement part came to me after I paid shipping cost of $19. This part is NOT the correct part for this bike and i have contacted the Help Desk multiple times to get the correct part. Which, I'm sure I will have to pay a bike mechanic to replace since the connectors for this throttle is deep inside a bunch of plastic tubing
Stay Away From this Company
Bike came in damaged so i returned it and KBO will not refund me until they receive the box. FEDEX has delayed or possibly lost it in transit. And I still am not refunded. Its been 11 days and counting since it was picked up. 100% terrible company. If i get my refund i will delete this review.

Purchased a Breeze Step-Thru
Purchased a Breeze Step-Thru. The bike arrived 3 weeks later. I was sent a bike cable and lock for the delay. I have 500 miles on the bike now and have not had any issues. I am very satisfied with the bike. I mainly ride my bike early in the morning and start when it is still dark out. I think the headlight is plenty bright for my needs. I looked at many brands before I chose the KBO. The value for what you get is greater than the other brands that I looked at.

I bought the Tornado fat tire with the extra battery! I love my bike! Had a couple of issues with shipping damage but their customer service was spot on to get me taken care of. If you’re thinking about it, go ahead and do it!
The new Compact
I have a KBO Breeze, Tornado and just received two Compacts. They are well made and fold nicely. The controller however, is terrible. Mode 1, low speed is 12 MPH. Not pleasant for a safe ride around the neighborhood. If you get this bike immediately order an aftermarket controller.
For over a Year, great riding experience...
I have been using my Step-through over a year now and love the Quality and sturdiness of the bike. I drive 20 miles everyday just for fun. No complaints on maintenance. Although I do see some people complain about Customer service, my experience was otherwise. Overall I am happy with my purchase and what I enjoy on daily basis.

My KBO Breeze is over two years old and i am very pleased with the quality of the bike. No issues with bike. I purchased an extra battery because next month we are going on a 200 mile bike trip !
Bike Frame is Huge
I ordered one of the orange kbo ebikes. Ads said would fit anyone 5'2 to 6'2. Since I am 5'8 it would surely fit. Wrong. Frame is like 19 inch. So it's so high I cannot catch a toe to stop. In addition the bar is 31 inches above ground my inseam is 29 1/2. So can't slide off seat at stops either without smashing my junk.
$1500 wasted. Gathering dust in my garage. Have listed several times past year no decent offers. offer of 50 don't count as an offer. Thinking of cutting it up and mailing back to the idiot company.
Don't buy this bike if your inseam is less than 31 inches.
I love my KBO Breeze
I love my KBO Breeze. It is rugged, reliable, easy to assemble and maintain. Rides is smooth on pavement and handles off road great. Highly recommend this e bike!

KBO is easy to deal with and I think the most for the money of the e-bikes I have researched and tested. My Breeze is great!

1000 miles
I’ve had the bike for three years now, and the odometer turned 1000 miles today, and I have no trouble with this bike whatsoever. I highly recommend this brand parts, speedy shipment and totally enjoyed my riding.
The bikes are tough and all works well
The bikes are tough and all works well. BUT WHEN it doesn't. 17 hours on bike and battery goes dead. Wont charge. Call support, and they have me record a video of a dead battery being plugged in to show that it is dead. I had to take pictures of the battery and it's serial number along with the bikes serial number. Waited 15 days only to receive the wrong battery. Had to take pictures of the wrong battery and send them in. Waited a week to get a return authorization label and another week to get the correct battery. They have all of my order information! Why the run around? Wanting a new bike for my wife, but it WILL NOT be a KBO one!
