I’ve never lost so much money

I’ve never lost so much money. At least one of my positions is in profit. He has had a few good tips recently, but I can’t follow him anymore because over the past four years he got almost everything wrong, except for one uranium position.

Genuinely think he's wisdom and…

Genuinely think he's wisdom and knowledge is real and I personally learnt a lot from him. Unfortunately like many people lately, lost money so far on quite a few stocks which I participated a few years back.

However, I chose to invest so not to blame on anyone else. It's a learning journey. If I didn't invest in his recommended stock, I may invest in something else, I may even lost everything already. It's okay to make mistake, as long as not make the same mistake twice.

My 4 stars represents his knowledge and wisdom I learnt, 1 star - more so their customer service.

Subscriber for 8 years

I was a subscriber from 2015 until 2023. His ideas on investing approach are good, but I lost thousands on the various investments(speculative) he recommended. One was a diamond mining company that cratered. I still have some like Equinox Gold and Carbon Steaming. About to break even on Equinox, but am down 96% on the Carbon Streaming fiasco.

What I think after 8 years being a subscriber

ok, I have been a subscriber since 2016 when Katusa Research just started. In the first 2/3 years, there are some good picks. I am still holding UEC, one of my biggest winner, nearly 10x, wish I had put more money in. Northern Dynasty, doubled, ok, got out on time; and a couple of others. Ever since 2020/21, the performance has been going down hill, fast. Like others, 90% down on average. Having said that some stock fundamental still stand. Anyway, I did learn some investing wisdome form him, from the success as well as failed picks. I will be renewing my subscribe for one more year. If there is no performance improvement, then I am done. Consider tuition fee for a learning experience.

90% down

Every single investment he recommended, and I purchased, resulted in a 90% loss. Even with all the private placement opportunities, I lost 90%. I’m still trying to determine the right time to sell and salvage the remaining 10%. NETZ is down 99.8%

It's not a scam, but if you want to lose all your money faster than you could drunk in a casino, Marin Katusa is your man.

I have been a subscriber since January 2021—when I wanted to allot serious capital to the resource sector—and I have lost money on EVERY. SINGLE. DEAL. Most are down over 90%, and two look likely to be a total loss. It's literally impossible to do worse recommending deals than he has done. It's too late for me, but you can save yourself.

Absolute scammer

Absolute scammer. Lost hundreds of thousands with him. If anyone wants to sue the hell out of this guy, I'm in. As other people explain he gets finders fees and scams people. Most of my investments are down 90%+ in 2 years.

Just sold my position on ODV-a nightmare

I recently sold my position in ODV at a 90% loss, which was quite painful. I followed their recommendations since 2021 in Katusa Research's 'Gold Rush Book,' investing in EQX, GROY, and ODV, all of which resulted in substantial losses.

Despite the losses, I still see aggressive advertisements from this institute on Twitter and other platforms, suggesting they have deep knowledge in the sector. However, based on my personal experience, following their advice has led to significant financial pain.

Scam alert

Unfortunately I became a subscriber in 2021. It was difficult to find negative material about katusa research online back then. I suspect he has a good tech team alongside him who successfully bury negative material about marin. His picks are very obviously a scam. Netz... NEP... he tells people in his newsletters that he's holding huge amount of shares but he doesn't tell people that he got those shares very cheap before the pumping starts. Also finders fees he gets! Then when the pump starts he, and the source of his finders fee, offload the very cheap shares for huge profit. In hindsight I didn't do enough research on this guy. If you look hard enough you can see hes been at it for a long time. 15 years or more. And he's had numerous pump and dumps throughout that time. In the case of netz marin in his recent newsletters is talking about a lawsuit against the netz management. The reality is privately marin, marc bustin, justin cochrane, anthony milewski and co are all together laughing their heads off. Yet some unfortunate subscribers are still buying the narrative that marin has been burned and that he intends to pursue netz legally!! In marins most recent newsletter he has claimed he has never sold a single netz share or warrant. At the time marin obtained his very low priced shares he also received his finders fee which was higher than the value of the low priced shares before the pump started. So in all marin has lost no money in the carbon streaming scam. He is still trying to portray himself as being a victim of this scam despite him being the main pumper of the scam for financial reward! So even now in his latest newsletter he is still duping subscribers. It's up to people to try hard and get the word out there so we can limit the number of investors he ruins...
An update (nov 25) now there is actual litigation. Unlike with lucara diamond and his previous fiascos there is no hiding from subscribers marin's involvement in the carbon streaming scam. Litigation is an attempt to divert blame solely onto the original scammers since marin's reputation amongst subscribers cannot be salvaged. End result of litigation will be money for lawyers and further collapse in carbon streaming valuation. Probably to zero.

70% loss in all his stock picks in one year

I subscribed to Katusa Research with high hopes of gaining valuable insights and profitable investment advice. Unfortunately, my experience with this newsletter has been nothing short of a nightmare.

From the very beginning, alarm bells should have rung when the promises of "guaranteed profits" and "expert advice" turned out to be nothing more than empty words. Instead of receiving well-researched analysis and sound investment strategies, I found myself inundated with generic information that could be found with a simple Google search.

But the real trouble began when I started following the recommendations provided by Marin Katusa. Every single position suggested by this so-called "financial expert" ended up plummeting, resulting in significant losses for me and, I suspect, countless other subscribers. It's as if every move recommended was designed to benefit Katusa himself and his cohorts while leaving his subscribers high and dry.

What's more concerning is the lack of transparency and accountability. Instead of owning up to his failures and providing genuine explanations or adjustments, Katusa seems to disappear into the shadows, leaving subscribers to fend for themselves amidst their financial wreckage. I requested a partial refund to my subscription early and was flatly declined.

It's abundantly clear to me now that Katusa is nothing but a scammer preying on the hopes and dreams of unsuspecting investors. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of Katusa Research newsletter. You'd have better luck throwing darts at a list of stocks blindfolded than following the advice of this fraudulent newsletter.

Cautionary Tale: Reflecting on Investment Decisions and Advisor Reliability

In 2021, I invested $4,000 to become a chairman member, a sum that pales in comparison to the losses I incurred following specific investment advice. My portfolio, including EQX, NETZ, GROY, ODV, and FMAN, suffered significant losses.

This experience taught me a valuable lesson: skepticism is vital when evaluating advice, regardless of the advisor's purported achievements. It's crucial to think independently and critically. Ultimately, the responsibility for my investments rests with me; advisors may overlook their missteps and highlight only their successes. This serves as a reminder that in the realm of finance, one's own judgment is indispensable.

Solid research on the commodity markets that you won't find anywhere else in the world. I've made a lot of money with carbon and uranium thanks to Marin Katusa. There's a reason the big guys trust him with their money like Robert Kiyosaki, Doug Casey...
