AVOID and order directly from Turkey if you can
I have ordered four books on the 31.12.21 and according to the website I should have received it within 1-3 working days. Well, I received it on the 19th of January 2022, 2+ weeks later! I called her in the week commencing 10th January but she apologised and said it will come any time and was trying to buy time. She sent the parcel untracked and with Royal Mail. I told her I will wait till Friday 14th and that she should send me the same books again, if I do not receive them by then. She was OK with it but on Friday she told me that I should wait till Monday. On Monday she said that she will send me the books again and told me that one book is not available and whether she could refund that one (buying time again), I said that she can send me another book instead. Anyways, on Tuesday, she should have send it right? She didn't and waited till Wednesday and the books finally arrived. Her email on Wednesday was something like: you received the books, so no need to send another set. So she literally did everything to buy time and NOT to send another set. I called and told her that she broke her word twice, once with not sending on time as promised on the website and twice by not compensating it. She did not take responsibility and said its not her fault and its a one in a million time case with Royal Mail. Everybody in this country knows that Royal Mail has delays every Christmas to deliver on time and this is even mentioned on their website. It is the most affordable option as well, she did not use the bit more pricey tracked option - why would she, right? I told her that I am expecting a compensation and she expected me to be understanding as she apologised for the delay. I do not think an apology can make up for the 2+ weeks waiting time. I actually ordered some books from Turkey and they came a week earlier than hers. The books she is selling are completely overpriced and cost at least half of the price in Turkey but I wanted to give her company a chance - what a mistake. She asked me in a very annoyed tone what she can do to make it up and I suggested to send me another book. Weird, that a customer has to feel uncomfortable answering this question and tell a company what to do. She told me to email the books name and closed the phone. Later on, she mailed telling me she will include the book on my next order. So again, trying to be smart and tricking the customer. Why would you STILL make an issue of compensating your customer and wanting me to place an other order so that I get compensated for the mess you are responsible for? If you would think long term and make it up to me, I am pretty sure I would buy again from you but trying to outsmart me just isn't the customer service anybody should be getting. Customers are apparently not stupid and yes I wanted to support you and do understand that its not your fault but you have to take responsibility for your own actions. You could have used another courier, mention that delays can occur or at least make it up instead of bragging of being 5 stars on Trustpilot and trying to buy time or find a way to still benefit yourself by making me place another order. So this company is definitely not customer oriented, thats for sure. It’s good (I guess) when all goes well (which other reviews can prove), and is bad when a problem occurs. It is in these bad situations when you see the real face of a company. Anybody can be good when things are good, but only the companies who value their customers are good when things go bad and try to do their best to find a satisfying solution for both parties.

We are so happy to have found Kartonkinder to help us with our son's Turkish. I am British and my husband is Turkish. We want our son to be fluent in both languages, however it was not easy to support Turkish when the official language at home is English. It's been a couple months now he is taking classes and improvement is visible.
They are extremely experienced and professional. They always come very well prepared, make it super fun and also very patient too.

This was the first time I purchased from KartonKinder. I wanted to gift something special to my husband for Father's Day as we are expecting our first baby soon. I ordered a few Turkish baby books for my husband to read to our baby as it is important for him that our child learns his/her native language. I was impressed with the variety of books available on KartonKinder and with how quickly my order was delivered (2 working days). The books also came in lovely gift wrap which meant I didn't have to do anything! My husband was so happy and couldn't believe I was able to find such good Turkish books, here in the UK.
