Passes NCLEX in 85 questions
I used Kaplan as my main resource to study for my NCLEX after 1 failed attempt in 2022. I tested JAN 2025 and passed in 85Q. Kaplan offers learning videos and questions (looks exactly like the NCLEX) these were very helpful. I study about 4 months (considering I had not studied since 2022). During this time I was also working about 30ish hours/week. Kaplan was very helpful and I highly recommend. I will be forever grateful for Kaplan!

Kaplan is key
Great classes and excellent material for HighYield topics and overall study structure towards step 1. Live Online course includes advising which is also vital for study structure since the advisors are usually MD graduates. Question bank isn’t better than UWorld but can be helpful. In general Kaplan is a great guide.

Don't bother if you are in Canada
They can't help you if you are applying for a Canadian school. They said my personal statement is actually 3 essays. In fact it is one personal statement in 3 small parts. The school refers to it as "A PERSONAL STATEMENT." It is well under 1500 words. It literally is ONE cohesive statement.
The problem is Kaplan thinks 400 words is an essay. So if you have more than that be prepared to pay at least $300 for each 400 words. In other words, to review your personal statement you will pay around $1 per word!
Completely useless.

Do not use Kaplan test prep. My wife found several question in which the answers were wrong. We reached out to Kaplan and they failed to refund us due to this issue.
They are just a big scam

Ged and Anne were great teachers. Ged was funny and brought a lot of humor to what’s often a very stressful subject and I looked forward to class every week. Anne was very helpful in answering questions during class and over email. I am sad this class has ended.

Great video lectures and Qbank
I really enjoyed the pre-recorded videos so I could watch them whenever I had time. The decision tree really helped me with critically thinking for the questions. I enjoyed the Qbank as well because I was able to make short quizzes and review the rationales whenever I had time. The only thing I did not enjoy was how the course was set up to study over several weeks or longer. I did not know this in advance before scheduling my NCLEX. So I only used the videos and quizzes but I passed! ☺️

Useful study resources from Kaplan
Kaplan had all the content I needed to pass the exam, the test taking strategies and the reviews on question banks really helped me a lot. I didn't have any other question Bank, just Kaplan and I made it on first attempt. Keep up the good work!

I would definitely save your money and look elsewhere or look for free resources. I only improved by 3 points and kept having technical issues to the point I gave up on contacting tech support.

My instructor Phillip O'Connor did a really awesome job at teaching our class the basics that are needed for Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension on the LSAT. It was my first ever LSAT course and I saw an improvement from my first diagnostic test to the one I took at the end of the course. A 6-point increase!

Terrible tech support
They have the worst customer service and tech support.
I paid for a course and could not access the content. I called their support number for help and the customer support had a bad connection and hung up. I called again and luckily the person was able to fix the glitch on their end and I was able to access the course. You'd think that was the end of the issue, but it wasnt.
After a few hours, I logged back into the course, but received the same error as before. I tried to call customer support again, but they were closed, so I put in a ticket online.
I woke up this morning to see the ticket was closed with a comment, "customer spoke to someone about issue" and they closed it. They didn't even notice that i put in the ticket AFTER i spoke to customer support. I re-opened the ticket.
I called them AGAIN today and again, I spoke to a different customer support person with a terrible headset and connection that I could hardly hear. She didn't know how to help me or resolve the issue and told me to wait on someone to help with my ticket that I re-opened. It's been 48 hours and I can't even access an online module. Taking my money was flawless, accessing the services, a FLAWED!!
