Missed check with full service?
Sent my car in for a full service and specifically added a clutch check on the booking.
There was no mention of a clutch check on my detailed invoice.
Overall the service was professional and smooth, but I'm disappointed that something that was requested seemed to be missed.

Thanks again Kams just had MOT and service done a few extra bits needed to be fixed. Being a woman Hgv driver I know quite a lot about vehicles but if I don’t know or not sure I always ask. Been going to Kams at Sawley for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks lads

MOT undertaken
MOT undertaken, spotted defective tyres and replaced, both started to deflate over 2 weeks. KAM Sinfin collected repaired and returned reparied. Have used them for a couple of years now and wouldn't go elsewhere. Friendly staff and a great collection return service

Had my clutch go on my car so had a day…
Had my clutch go on my car so had a day off to sort it the garage. Collected Wednesday 10th September and it's lasted 4 days I've now got to have another day if work to try and sort how to get it to a garage as apparently they can only collect if running
No idea of the parts are under Warrenty but not happy one bit

Never confirmed the booking
Never confirmed the booking, charge extra for oil (says it in the confirmation email) which obviously i didn't receive. Didn't turn off the service light (it's a French thing can't do it) and didn't even bother to stamp the book. Unbelievably poor, not convinced they even opened the bonnet!

I booked my motor home for mot.when i got there they said they are too busy they cant do the mot till next week.I have 3 cars and motor home and always used Kam service in the past.well I wont be using them again.
They could have at least phoned me before i drove all the way there .they didnt seem to be interested about loosing a valued customer.

Kam Derby where amazing after being stranded 170 miles from home on a Sunday evening I was taken by the AA to Kam Derby I booked into hotel and in the morning call Kam I spoke to Ash who kept me informed and answered all my questions in general he showed pride in his service and concern for my situation they took in my car a short notice and had me on my way in the after noon.
A+++ service

Replacing parts not needed
Took my vehicle to KAM services Ascot drive, for a health check due to a knocking noise on the passenger side near the wheel. Left my car, rang me stating they had found the issue, which would cost around £800! I agreed to the work as I needed the issue fixing, I have some long journeys approaching. On collecting my vehicle they were waiting for parts to be delivered although, who I spoke to earlier said they had the parts to complete the work. The guy stated my vehicle is still making the noise and to bring it back tomorrow, he would fix it for free because of the amount I had spent, as it might be a part that only costs £5 each!
When driving home, the noise was worse, my vehicle felt unsafe.
I returned in the morning, and left my car. On collecting the guy said he had fixed the issue which was the ball joints "the £5 X2" he had stated yesterday however would not provide me with any paperwork although it clearly states online "ball joints, when fitted by a professional garage, should come with a guarantee, often for 12 months or a certain mileage, especially if the garage supplied the parts"
He also stated that a part they had fitted yesterday was faulty or wasn't sitting right! No wonder the vehicle felt unsafe driving home. The £800 work I had done, I wasn't provided with a breakdown of cost on the invoice apparently they do not provide a breakdown of cost. I feel KAM took advantage and completed work that wasn't required especially as I had a MOT done a few months ago, these £800 repairs would have been on my advisories.
Avoid at all cost or have the guts to say I'll get a second opinion before having work done at KAM services! I will be taking this further.

My car filed the filed the M.O.T but the guy Lee was so good sorted everything out to write my car off . I wouldn't use anybody else.
