As an owner I am delighted to share my incredibly positive experience. The customer support team has been exceptional. They were always available to answer our questions, and assist with any issues. Listing our caravan on Kampi has been a highly rewarding experience. I can highly reccomend Kampi.
The booking process works really well, it is quick and efficient. The Kampi staff were always available to help when we needed advise or answers… be it with booking/deposit/setup or awnings in bad weather.
In a short period of time I did 3 rentals with Kampi, out of all the rentals I enjoyed the caravan (Penta) more than the Commander (off-road) - might be because i enjoy the ample space (inside) that the Penta has and the fact that everything has its place with all appliances easy accessible.
My husband and kids (6,4) enjoyed the Commander more - they enjoyed the ruggedness. I must say it had a pretty awesome awning that created a large outside area.
The Penta offered cupboards (a-lot) which made packing easy.
After the commencement of our trips the deposit was always paid back in good time.
Booking with Kampi has over all been a very pleasant experience.

I rented a trailer, Raasblaar, and the trailer broke in Botswana, The owner agreed that I do what was necessary to get the camper repaired, the total cost was R7000. Kampi are now saying that it is not there problem, The owner is not taking my calls and not replying. Christiaan from Kampi has told me not to call again or he will take legal action against me. They can not help me. Very disappointed. I would not recommend or use them again.

It is imperative to note that we do not own or operate the campers, trailers, or any other vehicles listed on our platform. We also do not manage or control these campers or furnish any transportation or travel services directly.
It is important to note that any agreements or arrangements between the owner and the renter are independent and separate from your agreement with Kampi.co.za. This separation is explicitly outlined in our terms and conditions under Clause 5.3.
We understand that you experienced a breakdown in communication with the owner during your rental experience. While we cannot directly control or intervene in individual rental agreements, we take these issues seriously and encourage open communication between both parties. Our commitment is to mediate and resolve disputes to the best of our abilities while ensuring fairness and satisfaction for all parties.
