Friendly, prompt, helpful service from North Van Kaltire for a nail-pierced tyre. So appreciated the mechanic who came half-way through my weight to update me on the progress. Loved having the TV and coffee/tea/hot choc bar while we waited. When I came to pay (quoted $70) there was no charge as I bought the tyres from them. Highly, highly recommend

I only get my tires changed here and have never purchased tires from kal Tire, but the downtown east location is always fast and communicates any delays well. I store my tires there as well, not exactly cheap but they always have them ready when I come in to get my tires changed. Pretty seamless.
They sold me tires that were 3 years…
They sold me tires that were 3 years old. They were winter tires and that would mean I'd only get two more seasons before they time expired from their DOT date. I had a lot of back and forth with management and 5 months later I was offered a fresh set with a DOT date that was within a year of manufacture. When I installed those tires the following winter, all of the sticker weights fell off. I was reimbursed for the reballancing. Now, only 12-months after my initial purchase, all of the TPMS sensors have failed. Their warranty on TPMS are 12 months or 20,000 km.

Is a good company but the reason why I gave it three stars is because it seems like every time I bring my car in for something it always seems like they find more problems with the car. I don't know if this is just something Cow tired those are all places but you think you're just going to change your oil or fix your tires or to switch out your winter tires and I see you know they find lots of problems with your vehicle which it makes it very wish I knew for sure if I had to do the work on my car you know what I mean
Needed help.
I was broken down near Kal Tire on Douglas Street in Victoria and I called my friend the mechanic to come and help me, I got a new part for my truck and needed a pair of needle nosed pliers so I asked Malachi at the counter if I could borrow a pair he happily lent me the pliers. A few minutes later I returned them and thanked him for his help. My point is it seems true customer service isn't a thing of the past. Thanks so much Kal Tire. I highly recommend them for all your Tire needs.
An organization that needs to re-address its values.
I convinced my wifeto take her vehicle for new tires and rims. When she picked up her vehicle it was making an intermittent rubbing sound that the technicians could not source. She returned twice with no result. At time of tire change-out she was advised that a boot was leaking and should be changed out. She agreed to the extra work and when the vehicle was put in for the work (Nov 25), she was left sitting in the reception area for almost 3 hours after being told the repair would be one hour. When she became impatient and required at the front desk she was told the vehicle needed to stay in the shop all day. No one advised beforehand, Kal Tire staff left her sitting in the waiting area for hours and only advised of a change because she inquired. She is a consultant who bills by the hour. This neglectful behaviour has cost her a day of billings topped off by a service experience failure delivered by indifferent staff.
1. New tires and rims on my daughter’s vehicle (Kal Tire - Nov 24). When I called to ensure I could pay on her behalf I was told that Kal Tire didn’t accept CC payment over the phone. NO attempt to solve my problem just a statement of what the company was prepared not to do.
2. New Tires and rims on my wife’s vehicle (Kal Tire – Nov 17). The issues which appear to abound are stated above. The ‘rubbing’ issues still persists. We will take the vehicle elsewhere to solve the issue properly.
Richmond Hill Kal Tire stay far far away
I have been dealing with Kal tire for years, today that has ended. My wife's car which has tires from Kal Tire had a nail in it, I know it's tire season right now but I left the car at the Richmond Hill store at 7:15am and went back after work to the Kal Tire store at 5:15pm. The acting manager Adam was out so I spoke to the technician who came to the front. He was never even told about my car. I didn't yell, I didn't make a scene I just asked if the tire can get done. I was told no. They were short a tech. While I was there there were 2 tech's one just completed a car the other one I was talking to was doing nothing but I was told sorry nothing I could do?? My car was there for almost 10hrs and a 30 minute tire repair was never done. As I was leaving the I told the tech "that's it, no help" I turned to walk out the door and he says to me "Go complain to HR"? I was not a Karen I didn't yell because that never works. I guess being courteous and hoping to get help in a type spot is something Kal Tire RICHMOND HILL doesn't care about. I don't like seeing anyone lose a job, but the 2 gentlemen I dealt with today do not deserve jobs. I hope my rant does not fall on deaf ears and people stop using Kal Tire at Richmond Hill just disgusting the way I was treated

I visited Kal Tire wharncliffe road south london. I was attended by Rahul and Dave. I had issues with my Brakes, they were completely destroyed, steering wheel was a mess.
The Reason I am writing this Review is to express as a customer, these both guys went above and beyond to not only explain me the problems but accommodated all my requests. I also faced problem with the payment because I had a purchase limit on my account, they still helped me with all these issues.
Being polite and kind is one thing and helping by going out of their way is on another Level.
They even spoke to me over the phone after I had given my car for repair and answered everything with the details of how long all the repairs would take and gave me a timeline like professionals.
When I went in the first time they had other appointments also. But they catered to my requests and helped me.
What sucks is I went to write a review on your website and your websites terminal would not let me submit the review stating an error that I need to select an option whether I would recommend this place or not. Even after refreshing the page and selecting it multiple time it would not let me submit a review for these lads.
I felt I still need to make an effort to express my thanks for the work and treatment I got there. Therefore, I came to trustpilot and created and account to do so.
Its difficult to find such services these days. You got amazing workers. Let em know.

Had new tires put on at KalTire, Kal Lake Rd Vernon. What a great experience. Gray Simms went way beyond to make this experience perfect. Very professional, very clean shop. 10/10 in my books I will be back in the future.
WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT EVER
WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT EVER! Booked an appointment to change over winter tires to summer tires. Said I needed 2 new tires and had to wait for them to ship in. Waited 3 days, came back and was told I actually needed 4 new tires and they had to re-order the other 2 new ones. Came back to get all 4 tires put on but was told only 3 tires shipped and would need to come back AGAIN after they shipped one new one. Was never called or emailed prior to assist me in my rebookings, was overcharged depending on who they had working at the front desk. Very sexiest, very rude. Very 'pay this price or get out' attitude. WILL NEVER GO BACK
they will upsell you
Ugh, I miss my old tire place, but unfortunately, it's been bought out by a new franchise. Just bought the old car in for an all-seasons tire change. It used to be just tires: no trying to sell you new brakes, something's up with your calipers, etc. You would just pay for tires, and now with the new guys, you walk out with a $1200 estimate.
Last minute fee added and poor service
Tire had a nail in it. Tire repaired, next day tire flat again. Take it in and suddenly the deep to the tire is not sealing. Tire is under warentee so they order new tire. Go in to do the work and suddenly there is going to be an $80plus charge for tried used and install when they are the one that wrecked the seal on the tire. I never liked Kal tire but had to use them a couple years ago as no one else had the tires in stock when a tire blew. Con artists they are worn wrecking tire then adding a fee at last minute.

This review is for Kaltire Chinook Centre. My front brakes squeal sometimes. I took it to Kaltire 2 days ago May 5,2025 to get it fix. I paid $199.00 after tax. They said cleaning and lubing it would fix it. So I paid that much. After they fix it I drove it and got home and reported to them that it is not fix and it is actually making more noise than before. So the guy told me to come back and no need appointment. I went there yesterday May 6. They try to fix it then the service advisor was telling me they did something to the brake pads and resurface the rotor without even giving me a paper of what they have really done. Weird thing is I did not see my van on the hydraulic lift when I went for a smoke and take a quick look if they really are fixing it. Maybe it just got done or maybe they never really did it who knows. Anyway the advisor says it should be good, but if not then they have to replace the pads and rotor as it says front brake package on the quote. As I was going to go home I see no changes. So I was mad and got back there. Guy says is it still noisy? And I was like Hell yeah. He kept talking asking me if I am gonna do change my pads and rotor. Then I madly said " Just give me my money back and we're all good" Though I was not yelling or swearing. All the guy said is "okay,okay". Then I said you could have just given my money back in the first place instead of me driving it back and forth. For you know or the mechanic knows the brake still makes a squealing noise. I told him there is no way you did not know and I mean the mechanic did not tell you that it is still making noise. I paid $190 for something that was not fix I told him. And he was saying he is trying to save me money. And I was like I paid $190 cause you said cleaning and lubing it would fix it. Now you telling me I have to put new pads and rotors. How is that saving money when it already costs me almost $200 ? Last thing I said is "thank you for giving my money back", though I said it angrily without yelling. All I wanna say on this review at this Kaltire is that it was very bad experience. I know anybody can make mistakes. But come on now. Can't that guy just give me my money back or not charged me at all during my first day taking it there. It is so upsetting paying for something that was not fix but worse is, it got more noisier than before I took it to them. I am only happy that he gave my money back. I hope this would be useful review to everyone who is deciding if they are going to that place.
Upsell, Upsell, Upsell— Waste of Time
Had an appointment to swap winter tires to summer tires. Was told my summer tires were no longer good, not true at all, and that I had to purchase new tires. They proceeded to provide me with a quote without asking me. I left there feeling very very angry at not only being lied to about the state of my summer tires but the waste of my time! Never. Never go here. They were attempting to upsell most of the people who came in for their seasonal tire change and those who called for an appointment booking!
So easy to deal with!
I always go to the Queensdale location in Ottawa. I think this is their “truck” location, but they do cars as well. I’ve never had an issue getting an appointment, I am always greeted by name and oftentimes, the service I am requesting is covered for the life of the tires (balancing, flat repair, TPMS reset). Try that at your local dealership! Richard and his team have been there for years (since the days of Frisby Tire). Thanks!!!
