A very happy little boy and big boy
Took my nephew who has a disability for a lollipop making experience today . He had a fantastic time and there was no rushing, things were explained to him slowly and he decorated his lollipops in his own time and his own way. Thankyou for making his day very special. This is a great experience for a childrens party treat .
Not Contactable.
I got sent milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate. Their contact page gives an error, email doesn't exist and WhatsApp contact link is invalid.
10/10 Fantastic chocolate making.
Visited today (28th August) for the make your own bars with my family of 5. From the off the owner was very accommodating explaining the process and what we were going to do. His story of creating this great local business during COVID was really nice to hear. The kids ages ranged from 7 to 12. The owner was great with them asking if they had any interesting facts and what they wanted on their chocolate bars. The bar making process was fantastic, he allowed the kids to operate the chocolate machine whilst helping and allowing them to pick whatever toppings they liked. This experience was seriously 10/10, we as a family loved the experience and what's better the chocolate bars were fantastic tonight with a nice cup of tea. Amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommend thank you so much!!! 😃😃😃😃😃 Get yourself there for a great day 😃😃😃😃😃

Short & Sweet Informative Yummy Session!
I took a friend for a chocolate bar making experience which she absolutely loved. It is a short & sweet informative session with a mega bar you make to take home. Tons of different toppings to choose from. Great fun & oh my word the chocolate is amazing! I bought some additional pre made bars which my husband absolutely loved too. I will certainly be going back & would recommend for adults (maybe a prosecco session once they get their licence) or for children of all ages.
Extremely rude
Extremely rude, avoid! We took our children here for a chocolate making workshop and the man who greeted us (turned out to be the owner as he liked to point out as the reason he can behave however he wishes) was the most obnoxious man I have ever encountered in a customer service position. He had clearly over booked and instead of being polite and trying to come to a solution where 5 children would not be disappointed he decided to be extremely rude and us and ask us to leave! It was a really bizarre experience that left our children upset and the adults in the group in disbelief that this man is in a customer service role. I do not recommend for groups with children as they are not made to feel welcome or put in any effort to make it a nice experience for them. A friend of mine had a similar experience too so we did not just get unlucky.

Disappointing
Disappointing, avoid! We had previously done an experience here and felt it was great although noted the owner John didn’t suit the job role, no enthusiasm.
The 2nd encounter with the owner, I had pre-checked on Facebook if the waffles they advertised were available on a certain day that we were attending the site, they replied yes! However when we arrived it took a long time of making the sensor bell continuously ring, he appeared and abruptly said no we’re running chocolate workshops! Why say on fb yes and not say well it depends if we have workshops or only between these set times etc. I walked away and remember thinking he was really rude. He has no people skills and is really not approachable!
I was apprehensive to book the Xmas gift for the children purely for the attitude of the owner but it seemed like a good activity that they would all enjoy.
We arrived for 3pm. I kept moving to make the sensor bell go off, I could see people out the back where they make the chocolate but assumed it was the previous time slot still in there.
Eventually the people told him we were there.. he was obnoxious stating it’s 5 past 3 so you’re late. I told him I had been waiting more than 5 minutes, he said in a distrusting manner that the bell goes off so I wasn’t, he then checked realised I was!
He said we couldn’t all go in cos there’s already 3 people in there. I asked how it’s possible when you book it says a maximum of 6 and I had booked 5 places. He said it’s his business and he’ll do what he wants! I said ok do you know how long they might be and we could wait and go in after, he said as long as it takes! He’ll make it easier for us and refund!
His attitude was outrageous I can’t believe he has continued to be able to host events!
He wasn’t interested in welcoming the children or saying sorry I thought you were 5 minutes late but actually I can see you wasn’t, give us some time and you can all come in once the other 3 people have finished.
Instead he chose to refund £75 and in return for his behaviour, avoided 3 families recommending to their friends.
So disappointed the children thought they were going to a chocolate factory to create chocolate bars, to all walk away gobsmacked and sad!
A sweet treat!
Having recently noticed Kakawa had opened a shop in our town whilst driving past I did a quick search and found their website. I booked a half term chocolate bar making workshop for my son and I at a very reasonable starting price with the option to upgrade depending on how many bars you wished to make.
A week prior to our workshop we were in town and decided to pop in for a milkshake having also seen those advertised online. They certainly didn't disappoint!! Some may think a little pricey but these aren't your everyday milkshake more a treat.
We attended our workshop this morning, we were greeted by John and his dad Kevin. Both super friendly and helpful, included my son in the conversation which I love to see. Having read the website I knew what to expect, our moulds were ready for us, an array of toppings to choose from and we were allowed to pour the tempered chocolate onto the moulds ourselves. We probably spent around 20 minutes doing our bars, which again I knew to expect. We also knew we needed to allow time for the bars to set so had a walk into town whilst they set and were wrapped.
We will definitely be back, what a treat on our doorstep!

Half term chocolate session
Took my daughter and her friend for a half term chocolate session. It was ok. Didn’t feel we got much of a welcome and didn’t feel the host was a great communicator. Chocolate tastes nice but it felt like a simple session for my 13 year old and her friend. Perhsps a bit of background information on how chocolate is made etc plus actually watching it be made would more child friendly and Interesting, maybe actually letting the children get involved in mixing the chocolate for example. It was very matter of fact here’s your chocolate now decorate it and go. I wouldn’t really rush back.

How on earth is this person in business
Arrived for a chocolate making experience which was a Christmas present for my children, to be met with the most rude and obnoxious man is a understatement. He had clearly over booked and stated we was late when we was waiting in the area at the booking time. He told us he could not allow us in as he already had 3 people in there (when we had booked for 5) and when we asked how long they would be he said however long it takes ! When we said you are actually being quite rude he then proceeded to say it is my business I can do what I want ! He then mentioned that it was booked on a discount (again not quite sure what difference that made) when questioned he stated he felt uncomfortable and would make it easy for us and refund us! Totally not acceptable leaving five children totally upset that they have arrived to do chocolate making for a Christmas present (booked months in advance) to be let down as they arrived! Absolutely no customer service, totally contradicted himself as he had clearly overbooked and instead of saying hey guys there’s a little wait we would have understood instead got greeted with an attitude and absolutely no people skills. No apology to the children either!!
Chocolate making experience with…
Chocolate making experience with prosecco...it was fabulous, we came away with so much chocolate and thoroughly enjoyed our time with John. Amazing chocolate and found out the best news that 2 chunks a day has got a real health benefit. Can't wait to return with my WI!!! I'll going to tell everyone.
Snacking Bars
I bought the snacking bars with different toppings. The chocolate is absolutely gorgeous and well worth the money. Will definitely buy more!!
We've had a number of orders through…
We've had a number of orders through Lynne one of the representatives for kakawa and we can't get enough of it! Lynne is a lovely and amazing person with brilliant customer service skills - a real credit to the company ❤️. The chocolate itself is divine. We are not massive fans of the white chocolate but that's personal preference and not a reflection of the company. We love this chocolate so much that the babies race to the front door whenever the post arrives shouting it's a prizey mummy 🤣🤣. The orders arrive within 2 days fresh and in really good condition packaged well and covered in packing peas for protection (though maybe a few too many 🤦). Well worth it absolutely love this company glad Lynne introduced me to it and can't wait for our future orders👍👍👍👍👍. 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating from us keep up the amazing and delicious work

Amazingly tasty chocolate pizza slices are my favourite
Gorgeously tasty chocolate
Absolutely gorgeously tasty handmade chocolate! Much tastier than shop bought chocolate and there's lots of varieties to choose from!
Amazing luxury chocolate experience
We were a return visitor after a session with our 3 and 6 year olds in February half term which we absolutely loved. This time we did a the luxury chocolate making experience for 2 and it was absolutely fantastic! We were welcomed with Prosecco and water on arrival and shown into the chocolate making room. JJ talked us though and gave examples of what to do and let us loose with the machines. After we finished, we waited outside in the courtyard enjoying the sunset while the chocolate set (Prosecco in hand). We retuned to our selection of very well presented chocolate that we had made and can’t thank JJ enough for the great experience. We will be back for round 3 (once we are through this lot!)
Very disappointed
Very disappointed! Took a month to come so was unable to give to my friend for her birthday. I ordered 2 different ‘boxes’ hot chocolate and cookies box and the dipping box, neither of which were in a box! Just thrown in together in one large packaging box.
Will not recommend or order again. Cookies tasted like Maryland cookie so nothing special ther and hot chocolate was average.

One of the most delicious chocolate companies I have ever tried…. I was that impressed I signed up as an affiliate and have never looked back. Not only is the chocolate amazing, the support, encouragement and open door policy with the CEO is second to none. Perfect experiences all round :)
