Actively caused stress while claiming to do the opposite
I received a phone call today and a representative helped me switch electricity suppliers. It was only after the switch happened and a new account was set up that they realised I had to phone both new and old suppliers to inform them that my current meter is on a prepayment system and needed to be switched over. There would be a delay in doing this and the process of switching providers was not worth a potential saving a couple of pounds a month. After speaking to both providers several times I am now left waiting over the weekend to find out if I have 1, 2 or no suppliers. This is a matter of serious importance due to the fact that I have medical equipment that needs constant power or my health would deteriorate significantly. Unless an adequate resolution is found I will actively be going out of my way to tell people to avoid using this company. I was fine beforehand and only after using this service I am left extremely stressed and needing to do all of the work to rectify this by myself.
