I had been facing issues with my property in Cyprus dating back over a decade ago and I wasn't able to find a competent, impartial lawyer to resolve the matter. I contacted Judicare at the start of last year and spoke with Neil who was exceptionally professional and guided me through a process which otherwise would have been exhausting and unclear. It saved me over €100k.
Today, I received the final settlement letter confirming that the matter has been closed. I highly recommend Judicare to anyone dealing with overseas property issues. They are transparent, knowledgeable and able to achieve the best possible outcome in complex situations.

When I looked for a company to help me deal with some difficulty I was having with a property I was purchasing in Cyprus it was difficult to know the one I chose was the right one. This was some years ago and through out that time Neil Heaney and Judicare have always been there to help and guide me through some very stressful times. Any questions I have had have always been taken seriously by Neil and he has always responded with patience and understanding. I cannot recommend Neil and Judicare highly enough. Absolutely excellent.

Some reviews might tip people off on whether a restaurant is worth a visit or not, others may guide on a bed and breakfast or a product on Amazon.
At the other end of the spectrum, you may, like I was a few days ago, be here because you have been handed a package on your doorstep, and opened it to find that a scam you found yourself entangled in decades ago has come to haunt you all over again. For me this was the case, but with the added jeopardy this time of an accompanying threat of a civil action court summons against me in a foreign country, in my case Cyprus. In the space of 10 minutes I felt my life had fallen apart and my home under threat; a life possibly no longer worth living.
Feeling my heart sink lower and lower as I read the 40+ pages of a cord bound legal document, translated from Greek into English, only to find that a European Law had changed is almost indescribable; that a scam from 2008 could now be enforceable in the UK and could cost me and the family home we had worked forty years to feel safe in, in retirement.
It may be that before finding Judicare and checking this review, you have realised that other providers of similar services have manipulative and destressing undertones that panic you into using them. How authentic they are, I have no idea. My intuition told me to keep looking, maybe yours did too?
What matters most is that for me, and for most of the cases similar to mine there is a solution to be found. All you need to do is find a Legal firm that is sincere and honest and will take on not only the fight, but also the stress.
I spoke at length on my first call with them, a gentleman by the name of Neil Heaney. I was trembling as I spoke, my words were hurried, anxious and disturbed, his were calm, reassuring and professional.
In the space of one conversation I felt encouraged. I enquired nervously to the cost of being represented expecting tens of thousands, again, a sum I could not afford. The figure discussed was around one percent of what I was being threatened with as a charge on my home.
For every scammer and every mis seller of fictitious dream homes on golf complexes and apartments with sea views there is a solution somewhere. In finding this company your search, if anything like mine, can now be over.
My only regret with this company is that I missed their call back on a Friday and spent a sleepless and heart wrenching weekend worrying unnecessarily until they rang again once business hours resumed.
I would normally not put such effort into a business review but it may be that one day someone reads this in the early hours of a weekend morning through tear-filled eyes and, with the same feeling of hopelessness that I had. I hope that me taking the trouble to share this might give someone some peace until the office hours come around again. I do not know your circumstances but I am certain things are not as bad as they seem right now, you just ned to find the legal partner to walk this painful, but final and closing part of the journey with.
Well done, you have found what you were looking for.
I wish you good luck, it will all be ok, it was for me and with the support you have found it will be for you too. Rest now, just call them when they are open.

I would like to sincerely thank you and the entire team at Judicare, as well as your Cyprus-based partner SNC law with Christos M. Triantafyllides for your exceptional representation throughout this matter.
To summarize, in 2009 I bought off plan a new built on the east coast in Cyprus and was not told on the ramifications of taking a swiss loan mortgage. At the age of 20 going on 21 this was a complex and versatile product (but was merely advised by a property agent and the bank adviser "these are lower interest." However I did state I wanted a fixed rate so to avoid fluctuations, with a swiss franc mortgage however no fixed rate would stop that. My payment started at 533 euros a month (798 CHF) of which I had 400 euros coming in as rent and so I sent money from UK to top up 133 for a house was okay given the exchange rate from £ to euros was high for the £. But things changed as the euro depreciated and CHF soared. By early 2011 I was over in Cyprus and asked for assistance and they had me sign a 6 month restructure where the payment would be reduced and then recalculated. Although I had kept payments up the increase to 580 euros and then 680 euros was buckling. I requested in three different branches to change from CHF to euros or better still pounds but Alpha bank refused insisting this is still 'better for you' as rates were higher in euros.
Interestingly they had me sign a document that I supposedly knew about the full terms and conditions of the loan then (as they had failed to do so initially in 2009) in order to get the 6 month break. As I later discovered via judicare this was a way of them trying to cover themselves that I knew legally the mortgage terms. By 2013 the amount was too much to cover at 892 euros a month and still nothing was going down on my loan statement. Infact the outstanding debt soared from 140k euros to 201k over 4 years!
I found judicare and spoke with Neil Heaney personally and he offered to review my case free of charge and told me the situation and that thousands of Brits and other Europeans were caught up in this scandal. The strong point for myself was that I kept up payments and sort redress before the bank started to pursue as was the case for most individuals.
Interestingly when I started a legal dispute suddenly Alpha bank were quick after numerous rejections to offer a restructure on the mortgage in pounds or euros with merely a 20% deduction on the inflated balance (the difference from the starting outstanding figure of 140k euros to 202k). I was given sound advice to reject it and seek either a better proposition if I wanted to keep the house or to seek to invalidate the whole contract and relinquish the house. After problems with the developer and rent falling to 300 euros a month, I chose the latter.
They allowed myself to pay my legal fees over a period of installments for the year in quarters and whilst some may of said about the fee cost being £11,600 (the extra £800 occured because the bank had the gall to turn round and try to pursue my assets in the UK as being a 'non compliant customer' with a default. My legal team in Cyprus had this thrown out of court given I notified the bank when I was up-to-date with my payments that a legal dispute had been filed and legally notified that no payments would continue.
I finally made my way to Cyprus to appear in court of which delays set back the date is COVID and Cyprus back logs, however during that time I was offered to first pay 30k euros to get out of contract then 15k euros by Alpha banks lawyer of which I refused. I was prepped by judicare's partners snc law and Vasiliki was my representative.
After my date in court the bank proposed I could walkway without paying anything else of which after speaking with my representatives they advised to take it for the likelihood of the judge favouring a full 4 years back log and waiving the responsibility of the house was minimal and indeed alpha bank will likely appeal the decision leading to another round of legal costs in order to make an example (only 1 client at the time had gone all the way for a court settlement and still he had kept the house with a substantial reduction but was informed to appeal to the European supreme court after the back appealed the verdict).
I, starting a new life in Cyprus wanted this over with.
The settlement reached with Alpha Bank in January 2022 out of court still stands, and as such, there is no legal basis for me to be pursued by any debt collector despite only until today the matter was ongoing with a debt agency now trying to recover losses.
I am grateful for Judicare's clarity and support and for ensuring that my interests have been fully protected throughout this process.
Thank you again for your professionalism and assistance.

Judicare and Neil were perfect to have on my side to take away the stress of a Swiss Franc Mortgage problem in Cyprus. They were compassionate and personable but at the same time professional and firmly looking after my interests. The result was better than I had expected and I'm delighted to be moving on in life thanks to Neil.
I would highly recommend Judicare and glad I chose them. A different law firm I had contacted were too pushy for business which was off-putting, and the settlement they suggested would have been much more than Judicare achieved.
It really was a pleasure having Neil (and his team) representing me, and he promptly and kindly replied to any queries I had. He kept the process as quick as possible and gave me updates on progress and any delays which were out of our control.
Overall a great result and I would have done it much sooner if I had known how straightforward and painless Judicare could make it.

I turned to Judicare in 2012 when I experienced issues with a mortgage I had in Cyprus. They were very thorough and took my case on. They warned me the judicial system would be slow and it’s only this week my case has finally been closed with the sale of the property. It was a very stressful and tense time but throughout Neil and the team in Cyprus worked so hard to get a resolution for me. They were really honest and set my expectations from the beginning. The Cypriot team were also very supportive and kind when I had to attend court in Nicosia. I’m so grateful for all their support and thrilled to have everything sorted out at long last. I can’t recommend them enough.

After reading the reviews I contacted Peter and his team regarding a long standing Inheritance problem in Italy. They did not disappoint the service they gave us was outstanding. He was always polite and was there to offer legal advice and liaise with their Italian Associates. He explained issues clearly and put us at ease. Peter was readily available and returned calls and e-mails promptly. We cannot recommend them enough.
Our experience with Judicare Law International started in the mid two thousands. We found them efficient and excellent. We could not speak more highly of their customer service ending in 2026 and rate them worthy of five stars.

Throughout the process of inheriting and then selling a property in Spain, thanks to the outstanding support and guidance I received from Peter at Judicare Law, my experience was remarkably smooth and stress-free, as navigating the complexities of inheriting and selling a property abroad can be daunting.
From the very beginning, Peter and the team demonstrated exceptional expertise in Spanish inheritance law, ensuring that every legal requirement was met promptly and accurately.
They consulted and liaised with all the authorities on my behalf, explaining every step to me with clear communication and the informing me of the paperwork that was required.
The sale of the property was equally as smooth due to the support and assistance received from Judicare.
I wholeheartedly recommend Peter and the team at Judicare Law to anyone facing inheritance matters or considering selling property in Spain. Their combination of legal expertise, efficiency, and genuine care for clients makes them a standout choice. Thanks to their help, a potentially complicated process became simple and straightforward.
If you are seeking reliable, professional assistance, look no further – you will be in excellent hands, I cannot recommend Peter and the team at Judicare Law enough.

Judicare Law International has demonstrated a high level of professionalism, particularly in its dealings with Cyprus Bank. They have provided invaluable support and guidance while addressing complex issues within the Cypriot legal system. The entire process lasted more than two years, primarily due to the slow pace of legal proceedings in Cyprus. However, I was consistently informed of any developments regarding my case. I would highly recommend their services.

I'm a legal professional dealing with an estate in which the deceased had a timeshare in Tenerife. Trying to resolve the issue of the timeshare had been ongoing for quite some time due to minimal assistance from the timeshare company itself and a previous lawyer in Tenerife we had contacted to assist. I contacted Peter Esders at Judicare Law to see if he could assist in the matter and give guidance on the options available to the executor and beneficiaries of the estate.
Peter was brilliant from start to finish and what had been a protracted and frustrating process, became much clearer with Peter comprehensively setting out the options to resolve the issue.
His assistance has been invaluable and I would have no hesitation in using his services again or recommending him (and Judicare Law) to anyone in a similar situation.

I was struggling for years to get out of a timeshare contract that felt impossible to cancel. After doing some research, I came across Judicare Group, and from the first consultation, they were professional, honest, and very knowledgeable about timeshare law.
They explained the process clearly, kept me updated at every stage, and handled everything with great care. I really appreciated how transparent they were about costs and timeframes — no surprises along the way.
Thanks to their hard work, my timeshare contract has now been successfully cancelled, and I finally have peace of mind. I’m extremely grateful for their support and would highly recommend Judicare Group to anyone looking to resolve a

My experience with Judicare was very disappointing. I approached them for help after my wife died and I needed to transfer her joint share of our property in Italy to my sole ownership. It took 18 months for them to achieve this, during which time they seemed to be unsure of what they had to do, and not very competent in doing it. There were long periods in which nothing happened and they were very poor in communicating the progress. Things only began to improve after 12 months when I had become exasperated and had to insist on a more professional attitude from them.
