False promotionals

False promotionals-When is a promotion not a promotion? When it's offered by Chase Bank. We recently moved all of accounts from Wells Fargo to Chase. They were running a $300 promotion for a new checking account, direct deposits and a platinum credit card. Everything was good and completed on our end until it came to the credit card. WE WER DENIED A PLATINUM CARD. The same card we had at Wells Fargo and, before that, at EECU. The reasons given were too many high limit cards, poor pay history and too many hard inquiries on our credit history. They sited all of this on an Experian report. I ordered a copy of the same report. According to my copy, the "high limit" cards had all been paid off over the last 12 years. Every card had a 100% payment on time. In regards to inquiries, Chase had ordered 2 reports therefore creating their own high number of inquiries. In my opinion Chase will do anything possible to keep from paying any promotion, including the ferilizer given for denials. In the longrun I'm not sure we made the right decision to move to Chase.

Chase untrustworthy

Chase allowed a third party payment co to take my social security check for a payment that was not due them. I’m on a fixed income and when Chase allowed this it left me with a $1000 debit to my account. It also left me with no income in January 2024. I have been advised to get an attorney.

J P Morgan Asset Management in the UK…

J P Morgan Asset Management in the UK handled a unit trust for me which I decided to sell. Despite providing all the information they asked for promptly they have not returned my money and customers services do not know why it has not been returned and are having difficulty finding what is holding it up. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A WEEK NOW. There seems to be an internal problem in communications between customer services and the department who return the money - this department is non customer facing and they will not let me speak to them and do seem to be speaking to their own customer services. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Chase closed my business account w/o notification

I was a small business customer for several years and never had any issue until they closed my business account without any warning or providing any justification for doing so. This caused a lot of problems (e.g. payroll) and frustration.

A quick Google search shows a lot of small business experienced the same.

Definitely one of the titans in the…

Definitely one of the titans in the global banking industry. JP Morgan represents a unique blend of financial expertise and expansive servicws.

There is no denying in the fact that it is one of the largest banks in the world, but they still can cater to smaller budgets and smaller retail clients in terms of notional amount of deposits or monetary savings/belongings.

Their customer service is generally reliable in almost all the countries and jurisdictions they operate in. They provide support for a large spectrum of financial inquriies, issues. I don't know much about their services for high-net worth and ultra high net-worth individuals, or institutional services like market making or hedge fond like risk business, but i have heard good things about it as well.

They are, afterall, like a powerhouse in their own industry.

Incredible incompetence and arrogance

TLDR:
They closed my business account because they couldn't verify a cashier's check. The incompetence they demonstrated was appalling let alone immensely damaging to my business.

On Dec 12, 2023, I opened a business checking account with Chase using their online application. This account was for my new clinical practice in Houston, TX. The accont information was disseminated to all health insurances I am credentialed with so that I could receive patient care payments.

On Dec 18, 2023 I made a cashier's check from my personal checking acount , and deposited it in my Chase business checking account. The deposit was made in person by handing over the check to a bank teller at the Chase branch on 712 Main St. Houston, TX . Over the next couple of days, I verified that the deposited funds settled in my account.

I just got back home from a trip over Christmas holidays. I checked my mail and I had a letter from Chase dated 12/21/23, asking me to call them to "verify some information".
I was told that Chase had closed my account. No phone call, no email, just a plain letter mailed on 12/21 that I received on 12/27.

When I asked for a reason from the Chase customer service representative, they stated they were unable to verify the cashier's check from my personal bank. The representative further lied to me and stated that when he tried to call my personal bank "right now, they hung up on me." I immediately hung up and called my bank immediately and had no trouble reaching a representative. I asked them why they didn't verify my cashier's check and they told me that the check was verified, cleared on their end, and the funds had been transferred. Furthermore, they stated that they are fully staffed and had no issues with customer calls.

As of writing this, Chase Bank is prevaricating, lying, and refusing to tell me why they closed my business account. I have been given no information on where my business funds are.

The worst banking experience I've ever had!!!

I went to a Chase location in Cleveland Ohio. I had a large check that was from jp morgan chase. I was able to cash the check and get a cashier check but they forgot to give me the requested cash. So they had to reverse the transactions and as a result the total sum of my money was put on hold. Now they have every excuse in the book including several lies such as the makers account is in the negative. Witch in it self is some kind of federal violation. JPMorgan chase has been offering me money for years. The last offer was 150k business loan. This is why I always say no. I'm an African American I'm pretty sure that has something to do with it.

Jo Morgan Chase fraud

The Chase visa issued through amazon sent me an offer implying $1,000 cash back. They hid the fact it was actually only $100 cash back. This is deceptive advertising. In addition they have credit only $40 of the $100 they promised in writing. This is fraud.

Total scam and dishonest business

Total scam and dishonest business. Following the consistency rules and even the supported admitted I followed the rules. No warning given. Account history proves I did. Now they won't allow a payout, even though they say inconsistent ones won't count. Nonsense, since they won't address my complaints, I switched to Assurity Secure they offer a more flexible program.

JP Morgan Nightmare Experience

I have dealt with JP Morgan for a month now trying to transfer my brokerage from another firm to theirs. It has been a nightmare so last night I finally closed my brokerage and decided to leave my money where it was. The client service is the worst I have ever seen in my life. You talk to customer service personnel who are nice but can't help you and send secure messages to the transfer department who never responds or calls you even when you ask. I finally decided last night after dealing with such incompetence for almost a month it is not worth putting my money there because if that client department can't handle a single transfer, then what in the world would I do if I had a problem after the transfer. They constantly blamed the other company which is false since the other company client transfer staff will call you or talk to you on the phone. I don't understand why people would use this company for their investments?

Contacted the customer service and it took a lot of time to get any reply and when they did reply, they couldn't provide any solid solution. I was forced to close down my account. For me right now it is all about growing my funds, there are pretty good places out there to do that, like "Ässets Plus". Top-notch customer service with decent returns , that way I don't have to worry about not getting a reply.

Very poor customer service

After waiting 10 minutes to get through, I explained what forms were needed and they then posted me the wrong ones. I tried to call. First time after over 10 minutes and no answer they cut me off. Then second time after 15 minutes they cut me off. The complaints process also uses the same number which they do not answer! I am still no further forward. Very frustrating!

We signed up to use Chase JP Morgan…

We signed up to use Chase JP Morgan payment processing services for our business. September 3rd 2023 I contacted Chase to close our account as we were no longer using the service. I was told the account was successfully closed only to be billed again this month. When I called to complain I was told that only the Risk Department could close the account and that they do not accept calls, I will have to wait for them to reach out to me in order to have my account closed but they cannot tell me when they will call me.

Chase: Internationally Limiting & Disappointing

Chase no longer offers 24 hour services and this makes it a nightmare to deal with any problems when over seas in other time zones or outside of US business hours. When verifying accounts for transferring money between 2 Chase accounts they take 3 business days. 3 business days to verify a Chase account by Chase is a crazy long time. Paint literally drys faster. Chase’s service employees are great however Chase’s speed of operations are out of date and their availability to serve their customers internationally is extremely lacking. I am very disappointed a in Chase as an international traveler who is frequently and often in many countries where Chase’s business hours are in the middle of the night. Chase does not equip or provide Chase customer service agents the ability to deal with issues caused by Chase systems in a timely manner for international travelers. Chase customer service agents do a great job but Chase systems are not expeditious for our current technical abilities. It’s very disappointing, limiting, frustrating and leaves me searching for better options.
