I had a great experience with Jove.co in arranging the insurance cover I needed. In particular, Michael Ore provided excellent support, clear explanations, and thoughtful guidance, which helped me make the right decision with confidence. Highly professional and helpful service.

Impossible to cancel your policy.

Impossible to cancel your policy.
They provide a Dashboard with several different phrasings to discontinue your policy, none of them work. When selecting a policy to expire by the end of the month, you better expect another billing for the following month because that policy will reactivate on its own. Thinking of contacting support? Expect to be ignored. I've been trying to cancel my policy with them for the past 3 months. My next call will be to my lawyer.

UPDATE: very, very quickly after this review has been published, I got a response. Shocking, right? This is how the response ended -- "Lastly, your policy is now canceled and no further payment will be taken. If you could remove or update the review to reflect the genuine experience, we will really appreciate it." If there was any doubt as to the manipulative, disgusting nature of these people. So here you go, I'm updating my review to indicate that we shall see. Because I thought I cancelled my policy before but these people decided to bill me again. If by the next 2-3 months my policy will remain cancelled, I'll update this review again.

Problem solved

Originally gave 1 star until Michael O. reached out to me at the end of the day. He informed me that ai reviews documents and he was able to verify the documents I submitted. Very nice and professional.

US Trucking business well taken care of

Im in the US and 6hrs behind so there's inherent issues from the start. However Michael Ore continously goes above & beyond to help out my business sending various emails, updates, & COI's to brokers & registery services so that my business can work & stay in business, despite the hardships we face being in different countries & 6hrs apart!

Harassing!

Received a quote but decided not to proceed and bought my insurance elsewhere. Have been constantly pestered since (despite the comment below saying it has been a small number - it has not). I have emailed multiple times (to the email they have also said below) asking not to be contacted with no success (or response). They do not have a way to unsubscribe. Breaching GDPR guidelines by continuing to contact.

I don’t appreciate the follow up comment Jove implying it was a small number and if I only emailed this address it would be sorted. I did and it wasn’t.

Update 28 March: still being sent 2 emails per day even complaint

Lidia was polite

Lidia was polite, helpful and effective in her communication. She sorted my problem and made it easy for me. Jove is lucky to have her and I never write reviews.

Giving an openly honest review

Giving an openly honest review
1 star purely down to zero customer service, zero reply to a referred quote, constant messages to continue quote though Iv contacted Jove using both contact and complaints email,

My issue is this I completed every step of the policy as per the easy application but the very last part for GIT ask to confirm your truck is under 7.5t but mine is 7.5t so it referred it to the underwriters “ relax nothing to do now Jove will be in contact with you in 48hrs” it’s now been a week

My understanding as Iv got insurance and I wanted Jove purely for the easy of Shipley is A+ rated insurance and motor trade all set limiters to and including 7.5t vehicles for purpose of vehicle recovery - transport

So by then putting the disclaimer at the end of the quote and not getting back to me is frustrating especially as they bombard you with Multiple emails to continue your quote but cannot due to the referral …

Bet you replay to this quicker then 48hrs

Ps I can’t even give you a reference as you not supply one for referred just has my name on it .

Thanks for your review. To clarify, our Goods in Transit (GIT) policy currently covers vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes. Vehicles above this limit fall outside our current underwriting risk appetite, which is why we’re unable to offer cover in this case.
We are reviewing our product scope, but at present we cannot insure vehicles over 7.5t. You are, however, free to obtain suitable cover elsewhere, and Jove will still validate your policy for Shiply once in place.
