I had my bike stolen and reported the incident to JOOLL with all the necessary documentation, including a police report. Instead of assisting, JOOLL immediately began inventing new insurance “conditions” and redefining terms to their own benefit. As I clarified the situation, they continuously shifted their explanations in ways that made no sense and only served to undermine my claim.
For example, when I explained that the bike was stolen from a locked bike garage, they instantly labeled it as “burglary” — something they claim not to cover — without asking any of the crucial follow-up questions needed to determine what actually happened. They simply made a decision on the spot, without even demonstrating an understanding of the insurance definitions they were referencing.
On top of that, they repeatedly requested documents I had already provided, showing little to no attention to detail. They also demanded two keys for the bike without checking whether two keys even existed in the first place.
Every interaction I’ve had with JOOLL has been unnecessarily stressful. Instead of feeling supported, I’ve felt distrusted, manipulated, and forced to deal with unprofessional communication at every step. It’s been an exhausting and disheartening process — and I’m left deeply worried about whether they will even honor the replacement of the stolen bike.
I cannot recommend JOOLL based on this experience.

I've just received my bicycle and couldn't be happier with the service provided! Jakob from Jooll was super helpful - he kept me updated on the bike’s ETA and was incredibly kind, answering all my questions along the way.
When I went to pick up my bike, Jakob took the time to answer all my questions, explain every little detail about the bike, and set me up for a smooth ride.
Kudos to you, Jakob, and the rest of the team at Jooll Copenhagen! Fantastic service - I can't recommend it enough!
Horrible service. I would never recommend Jool to anyone. The service in the contract is just in the contract, they are delayed, they make you pay for parts more than any bike shop and when it´s time to buy your bike after the lease period it is for sure they will take advantage and try to charge you as much as possible. Never in a million year would I recommend Jool to anyone.

I received a Cowboy bike and I love it, super nice bike, good quality.
I was sick so Jooll delivered it at my place, which was very considerate of them. It is just what I expected.
I would like an easier way of contacting them, like a phone number or an app, but for the rest everything is good and I am super glad about it :)
I was actually looking for purchasing a bike, but found the leasing/insurance/service terms surprisingly beneficial.
Was a bit in a hurry, but Jooll (Anders) ensured fast delivery.
The transport car broke down, but Jooll kept their word and made sure the bike was delivered on time.
Latest update by text message friday evening at 19.30 “Apologies for the inconvenience, glad we made it work anyways”

Very nice and friendly. The bike I ordered was not available but they gave me another option that was even better then what I ordered and fitted with the company budget. Also very fast at replying if you have any questions.
