Disappointed by Lack of Human Interaction
Review: I’m very disappointed with Papa.com. While their services are meant to help people, especially those who may not be very tech-savvy, their system is far from user-friendly. It’s nearly impossible to talk to a real person when you need help. Everything is automated, and the lack of human contact makes it frustrating to resolve issues or ask questions. For a business designed to assist people, this approach feels cold and impersonal. I expected better accessibility and support for all users, not just those comfortable with technology.

Papa pal is doing a phenomenal job by creating this great idea to serve in times of need, in our communities where help is very deserving. From my experience this is truly an empathetic outlook to see a great need and fill this bracket in humanity. Thank you Papa.

Papa is a great organization to work for. The only complaint i have is the training process. I had to figure out some things on my own.

I just completed my first shift w an elderly. She was so lovely! Everything about the app was easy and clear. Highly recommend this for other sahm and part timers

This service does not care a out the workers or the clients. It is impossible to get a straight answer from the support providers and safety is not a priority. Many insurance providers no longer offer the service so it's difficult to get work

The app was great at first, loved the flexibility in schedule as well as the pay & bonuses for work. It has now been weeks since work has been available, thankfully I am not in a position where I need the money for my livelihood or I would be livid. I did however turn down a job opportunity for Papa as I liked the flexibility in schedule, not even a week later there are 0 visits and it has stayed like that for weeks. Very disheartening & I feel bad for the folks who were using the app for consistent income. No warning prior advising visits would diminish in the month of January & beyond allowing for other options to be considered during this period. I am very disappointed as I loved helping those who needed it and I can imagine they lose a lot of Papa Pals during this time as people are forced to find other employment opportunities.

I had a horrible experience trying to onboard to this site. After going through the majority of their steps and uploading my drivers license, I was told that my geographical location was not available via chat help! The app is a very bad app and the training videos only finished 50%.

I adored all of my clients and enjoyed serving them. The training prepared me well with what to expect and how to respond in an emergency. There were a few glitches with the app that need tweaking regarding communication but the intent and heart of the program is excellent and praiseworthy.

It was my first and only visit thus far but, I think this particular client and I were a good fit. We chatted easily and laughed with each other like old friends. It was ideal. I took her to a doctor’s appointment and back home. And I really enjoyed being able to do something that I believe helped another human being.

Great way to earn some extra cash. Earning estimates should be available before accepting an assignment.

I USED THEM FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS. THE FIRST PERSON DID NOT WANT TO DO ANY CLEANING (VACUUMING)AND SHE SPOKE VERY LITTLE ENGLISH.
THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO TRAINING. AND ACT LIKE THEY ARE DOING YOU A FAVOR BY BEING THERE.
THE SECOND PERSON WAS GOOD, BUT THEY ARE PRIVATE CONTRACTORS AND DO NOT KEEP THE COMMITMENTS THEY MAKE WITH YOU. THE COMPANY DOES NOT CARE AS LONG AS THEY DO NOT CONFIRM IT WITH THE COMPANY, THEY ARE NOT OBLIGATED. THEY SHOULD HAVE TO EITHER CONFIRM OR REJECT THE REQUEST FOR THE DAY THEY ARE ASKED FOR IF THEY ARE THE PREFERRED PERSON, AND NOT LEAVE A HANDICAP ELDER HANGING ON WAITING.
THEY KEEP SENDING YOU TEXTS TO CONFIRM AN APT YOU DO NOT HAVE.
THEY NEED TO TRAIN THE WORKERS AND REQUIRE THEM TO KEEP THEIR WORD TO THE PEOPLE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING.
