This device is fantastic! My mom has Alzheimer's and was receiving dozens of calls a day from scammers. Now, only green list calls come through and the scam calls are completely blocked without my mom hearing a single ring. In the first 3 hours it was installed, it blocked 11 scam calls!

The device is extremely easy to install. You wire it in between your phone line and telephone (we also have a lifeline in the circuit without issues). Then install the app on your phone, create an account, bind the Imp device to a 2.4 GHz wireless network, transfer your phone contacts, and indicate the which contacts should be in the green list, gray list, and red list. Green list calls go through, gray list don't ring but can leave a message that you can listen to remotely, and red list calls are hung up on. Callers not on any list are treated like gray list.

Imp support was also great. My mom's router had a broken 2.4 GHz channel and we couldn't get Imp to discover the wireless network during the installation process (as Imp doesn't see the 5 GHz channel). Imp support quickly let us know that it requires WiFi 4. A new router was installed and Imp installation was performed without any issues.

Imp is FANTASTIC! We had 20-50 spam calls a day. Now none. I tried another call blocker device that touted 10,000 common spam numbers blocked. And you can add additional. It didn't really slow down the calls at all. It also has a whitelist mode, like the Imp greenlist. But there is no way I could be sure ALL of the numbers I want would be in it, and I'd have to manually enter each and every one. Anyone I missed would be blocked with no indication that someone I want to talk to was blocked. With Imp my existing contacts list was automatically loaded, and my wife's too. Anyone we missed are not just blocked without visibility. If they call, they can leave a voicemail on the built in recorder. With a touch of a button in the app, they are greenlisted and will get through next time. The online recorder you can access through your cell phone is super convenient as well. Way easier to use than either a home recorder or the service provider. Very good app to device integration. Only disadvantage for some is that you do need a cell phone as well as the landline you're protecting with Imp. Most probably do have that, but some may not.

That reminds me, when buying Imp, before you can place your order they ask I think 4 questions, one of which is do you have a cell phone. Great thought to prevent a customer bad experience for someone who just does not have the right setup.

It is wonderful not to have the iterating scam phone calls I used to get. However I recently somehow deleted a phone call inadvertently and was wondering if it is possible to retrieve it? It was a number not in my phone, they left a message I couldn’t quite understand and I have a feeling it was from a friend I haven’t heard from in a long time. Thanks

Everything with our IMP has gone smoothly. Although we don’t get many spam calls, it is really nice to have them intercepted.

It has been less than 24 hours and my mother in laws phone is silent. I love the IMP device AMAZING. It has already blocked 12 calls. She has dementia and gets on average 15 to 20 calls a day. Due to her Dementia she is easily swayed to purchase services she doesn't need. Sad. This device is a blessing, she can keep her home landline phone and number and we no longer have to worry about unwanted calls. THANK YOU!

I love hearing the landline go silent after a single ring!

I'm not wild about the email notices of who called, though. They're excessive, and I've yet to figure out why I should care about those calls . . .

We have found Imp to be very helpful, not only in eliminating unwanted calls but also in being able to check for messages and calls when we are not at home.

I absolutely loved my imp. Great device. Works well and the customer service reps are friendly, nice and knowledgeable.

There have been a few bumps in the road but the Imp rep workrd to fix them. Imp has ended the robocall problem. The only time the phone rings is when someone actuall that we know wants to speak to us. What a concept!

This company and Imp have been a blessing in our home with stopping the RoboCalls and all unwanted telemarketing aggravating calls. I’ve truly been impressed with Imp and was very grateful to be in their bata testing. Thank you for all involved in this remarkable landline gift of quietness..

I am very happy with this product. It was easy to install once I figured out plug in space. The app is easy to navigate, and the support is good. I live with a person with memory issues so getting g rid of sakes calls and spam calls is especially welcome.

All good. Easy to set up. We love that it acts as a watchdog and guards the phone while we’re away.

imp has helped so much helping me block unwanted spam/telemarketers. Highly recommend!

Imp Dave’s me from the hassle of many phone calls a day that I don’t want. That’s great. But as someone who is technologically challenged, I found it difficult to set up. Also, I am unable to get calls my greenlisted people because, despite my setting it for two rings, thr phone doesn’t ring. Frustrating!

It’s been very lonely and quiet since installing Imp!
No dinner calls, no calls about my cars extended warranty, my credit card interest rate or political calls!
I only have one thing I’m concerned about. If I’m waiting for a call back from say my doctor, I don’t know what extension they may call from it won’t go threw. If I don’t have my cell phone with me to hear/see the incoming call. As I’m writing this I’m think I need to tape my own message about leaving a message or call right back to get right threw to the land line.
I have to say that I LOVE not getting those annoying calls all day and night!

Everything is great. Handling all calls appropriately. Nothing unwanted getting through!

Great device. We love the fact that we don’t get unwanted calls every evening. I would give 5 stars if there were an LED that notifies of missed calls, and messages, in case you don’t see them in the app.
