I used to shop for electricity companies myself. I know how to do compare prices to PPL.I've been doing it for years. Well then one day I got a letter in the mail from Arbor. It was telling me how they would do everything for me. I didn't have to do anything anymore . They would do everything for me ,when someone tells you this if you don't go for it I don't know what's wrong with you . I just sit back and relax and they do all the shopping for electricity for me and if a better rate comes up, they're right on it and they switch it over for meIt's the easiest thing in my hectic life and it's free

Took forever to set up - Savings are puny for me
Took forever to set up, submitting all sort of documentation about my bills and current account. Then weeks went by, was asked to resubmit and finally got some savings of about $1 / month. At least for me, really not worth the effort.

After reading many many reviews …
After reading many many reviews and researching how Arbor actually operates, we decided to give it a try. Sign up was super easy and information on the site was very clear to state that new rates are typically secured in 1-2 weeks and the rate changes would be seen on our electric bill in 1-2 billing cycles.
From the negative reviews we've read, we think many folks just don't understand what they're signing up for or how utility billing actually works. There is no such thing as "instant savings" when it comes to utilities, as they run on billing cycles and your provider doesn't change in the middle of a current billing cycle ... and when you do make a change it takes 1-2 billing cycles for the changes to be seen.
We're willing to give Arbor time to see what they can do to help lower my supplier charges and save us the headache of trying to manage all of this ourselves. If only the delivery charges by our electric company could be lowered too ... but that's a whole other ball of wax.
