Don’t sign up.Shaw Academy is SCAM 😡😡😡

I registered on 21/12/2020 and got a free four-week membership. They charged me three times when I’m in trial period .The total amount is 240 AUD.

Be careful their email of the 1-click toolkit and diploma purchase. Once you click, the payment will be deducted immediately even if you have not authorized. They won’t send any texts or email to inform you so that they can keep secretly deducting money.

I asked them to refund and they responded:
They cannot refund and are willing to provide lifetime free membership. This is a rubbish option, it seems that their company courses are worthless.

If you already registered, please cancel your bank card immediately and fill in the transaction dispute document. I still fight for my money back. Good luck everyone.

The Shaw academy is a scam

The Shaw academy is a scam, signed up to a free course, which was cancelled before course commencement - but one month later they took money from me without providing aa service I signed up for. Total scammers. Do not do any training with Shaw, it will cost you more than you realise.

Trial is NOT free

Unfortunately, I believed in a false advertisement for a free course with Shaw Academy, which I came across on Instagram. I hesitated when filling in the bank details, but the admission of 100 % free for 4 weeks convinced me to trust them. Before the end of the trial, I had to confirm the termination by phone and I was informed that I would lose my money, I explained to the lady that I did not pay any money, I only had a trial version. It wasn't like that, the moment I signed up and received a notification for an annual subscription with a 60 % discount and I clicked on this ad to see the price list, I bought a course for £ 200. I asked for a refund. I had to call the billing manager every day for three days, who convinced me uncomfortably that it was my fault and that a refund was not possible. She promised more every day. I gave up the negotiations on the third day and agreed to refund of 75 % of my money, saying that I wanted to cancel my account, she also promised to immediately remove my bank details. I received the amount within three days and finally rested. I didn't know the week after they had taken another 200 pounds from my account again! What more to add ... Scam! Thieves! Liars! Criminals!

They committed fraud and a felony!

They are a disgrace to the human race. It's redundant to write anything else.

They took 300 euros from my account in the first week of 4 weeks free trial period. Everything they took was WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND KNOWLEDGE. I didn't use any of the free services they marketed nor did I buy anything... Stay away if you value your money. They committed fraud and a felony. I still didn't get an apology and a refund...

--- update---
I contacted my bank bc I "payed" with my Visa credit card (PBZ bank - I saw there are people from Croatia here). Everything you buy with Visa card must have your consent. You need to put your signature, pin code or you fingerprint, ect. to authorize the payment. Since I wasn't aware of them billing me for things in my free trial, the bank gave me full refund, block my card and sent me the new one. I was lucky but you can be too. Contact your bank and explain your situation, they will bill them for your refund. You just need some proof of misconduct. Good luck :)

Please, please avoid!!

Less appealing than the plague
Absolutely diabolical, please please save yourself a lot of hassle and stay away from these scammers.
I, like many before me signed up for the free trial!
2 days in, i decided it wasn't for me so I tried to cancel (and boy do they make you jump through hoops for that!) I ended up emailing them asking them to cancel.
I got an email back pretty quickly and the sender reassured me that as I'd signed up for a trial, there would be no payments taken from my account... despite them already trying to take £40-something for a bloody 'tool kit' that I accidentally clicked on, on one of their stupid intrusive pop-ups.
Literally as I was replying to the email they tried to take 2 further payments of £39!!
Obviously I was furious at this point so I insisted they completly remove my details and delete my account, also confirm that no further attempts would be made to remove money from my account.
I received a response confirming that they'd removed my name and email address from their mailing list and I wouldn't receive any further communication... Also that I wouldn't be charged for the previous failed payments!

Ohh no... that is not what I asked.
I couldn't help but feel like they were trying to swindle me with their wording.

After much back and forth and consistently insisting, I got confirmation that they had removed my account (I haven't received any emails since) and confirmation that no FURTHER attempts will be made for payment.
Thankfully, I used my Paypal which was linked to my backup account containing no money.

Many others haven't been so lucky.
I'm still not confident I've seen the back of this situation!!
It's genuinely shocking how dodgy Shaw Academy is. If you've read to the end of my review, please heed the warnings of myself and the MANY before me!!

This company is a SCAM

This company is a SCAM. I signed up for the 4-week trial and when they sent me an email regarding getting my starter pack for the courses I clicked on the button. There was no mention of price whatsoever so I thought it was free, it just opened a window that I then tried to close by clicking the X in the corner. I GOT CHARGED RIGHT AWAY. My debit card company Revolut immpediately sent me a warning about a suspicious transaction and froze my card. I confirmed that I did not make that transaction, but still, the money is missing from my card. I sent them an email and I am waiting for a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. LET’S HOPE THEY’LL GET SHUT DOWN BY THE TRADE COMMISSION!

I am one of those people who was pretty…

I am one of those people who was pretty much tricked/duped/Scammed into purchasing a Premium Membership for which they point blank refused to refund me. So because I had this "premium membership" I figured I might as well complete a course or two.

Their website layout has now completely changed along with their company logo and guess what, my account is still active, my profile is still there, and shows that I've had a premium membership but my completed courses are nowhere to be found...Hmmm, I'm sitting with Digital certificates with old logos and no proof that I've actually completed these courses THAT I PAID FOR!

I'm Beyond Disbelief

SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!

I wish I could give this company a BIG FAT ZERO. They are scam artists, no more no less. I signed up for the 4-week trial and accidentally clicked on the toolkit button. There was no mention of price whatsoever so I thought it was free. They claim it’s a two-click purchase, NO I GOT CHARGED RIGHT AWAY. PayPal refused to help because I got my PayPal saved as a payment method. This scam company refused to give me a refund, instead they offered me a free 3-month trial and toolkit and certificate. NO THANKS. The courses are not even great. To make things worse, they make it SO IMPOSSIBLY HARD to cancel! I had to call a number, listen to a robot begging for me to stay, and when the robot finally confirmed the cancellation, did my subscription actually get cancelled? NO! I’ve removed them from my list of Automatic Payments on PayPal so let’s hope I won’t get charged again. I’ve contacted my credit card to try to get my money back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. SUCH AN UNETHICAL COMPANY. LET’S HOPE THEY’LL GET SHUT DOWN BY THE TRADE COMMISSION!

They are claiming that 4 weeks are…

They are claiming that 4 weeks are free, but charging you right away, because you selected not that 'free' option. I had a horrible user experience, because it was not clear from the beginning what`s is free and what`s is chargeable. Now I feel deceived and lost money. I canceled my membership, for which I actually paid, deleted account and will not recommend them.

I am extremely disappointed with Shaw…

I am extremely disappointed with Shaw Academy. A 4 week free trial turned out not to be free at all!! I have $265 worth of unauthorized charges to my credit card that I have tried numerous times to get refunded. I’ll eat the 2 charges for $39.99 for course materials. The remainder of charges equaling $265 I will not accept. This academy is a scam and needs to be shut down immediately!! They trick you into “monthly subscriptions” that they charge the full amount up front with no explanation, not even in the small print. Free trial is a joke, they charge you for the materials which are course quizzes. There is absolutely nothing free with their free trial. When you do finish the webinars and are ready to complete “assignments” it becomes clear that you cannot access any of such assignments and are told thorough email that these “assignments will become available in a few weeks”. Umm, no!!! I have demanded to get my money refunded back that was unauthorized and they continue to argue with me about it, saying that refunds are not possible!! Um, excuse me? Refunds aren’t possible for unauthorized charges??
