SCAM you will never get it: JOI Beauty Face-It 2.0
SCAM ALERT: JOI Beauty Official released the Face It makeup brush and sponge cleaning device on Indiegogo—and it was a complete disaster. It took over 3 years for some backers to receive their orders—if they received them at all. I never got mine.
Before the official launch in 2021, they hosted an Instagram giveaway where 30+ people, including myself, were announced as winners of the Face It device. Not one of us received our prize. All traces of the giveaway were later wiped from their Instagram page. Thankfully, I have screenshots of everything—winners list, emails, and DMs from JOI Beauty Official.
When I email them about a regular purchase, they respond. But the moment I mention Indiegogo or the giveaway, they stop replying. I also tried contacting them on social media—they blocked me on every platform.
I have found others who purchased the Face-it 2.0 from Indiegogo and as of July 2025 have not received their order.
Now they’ve relaunched the same product on Kickstarter. Do not fall for it. They’ve shown a pattern of shady, deceptive behavior. You’ll likely be ignored, blocked, or never receive your order. Be warned.
