This company should not make anything
This company should not make anything, they should be shut down immediately. I recently purchased a product from Amazon and the quality is shocking. Copy of my complaint to Amazon below.
I am writing to express my absolute fury and disgust regarding a John Adams Dr. Squish kit I purchased from Amazon as a birthday gift for my son.
Tonight, while making the toy as directed, one of the squishies EXPLODED without warning. The force was so violent that it hit a window THREE YARDS away. The result? Glitter and slime covering everything in sight — my sofa is destroyed, the cushions are ruined, and our clothes are completely covered.
But that is not the worst of it. MY DOG HAS INGESTED SOME OF THE CONTENTS OF THIS SO-CALLED TOY.
I am beyond furious. This product is being marketed to children and sold as a fun, safe activity — yet it is capable of exploding with enough force to travel across a room, destroy furniture, and put a family pet at serious risk. This is not just a complaint about a messy product. This is a safety emergency caused by your product.
I am demanding the following immediately:
1. A full refund for the product.
2. Compensation for the damage caused to my sofa, cushions, and clothing.
3. Full transparency on the ingredients and any toxicity risks so I can share these with my vet without delay.
4. An urgent review of the safety of this product before it causes harm to another child or animal.
I will be reporting this incident to Trading Standards, the relevant product safety authorities, and leaving detailed reviews across every platform available to me. I will also be consulting with Amazon directly regarding their responsibility in selling this product.
If I do not receive a prompt and satisfactory response, I will not hesitate to escalate this matter further.
Really good company…
Had a good experience with this company. Was wanting part for hot tub and they didn't have it in stock and said they would phone me back when it came in, which they did. All the parts list for a piticular brand was broken down and they also have video of how to replace parts on a hot tub. Found they seem to be the cheapest for Intex stuff and will be using them if I ever need anything like that.
Excellent service and communication
Excellent service and communication. Ordered 6 fuzzy felt games for grandchildren. They love them. Delivery was fast and well packed. Thank you.
The worst possible quality
The worst possible quality, this brand is shit
Glow pad by John Adams
This review is not so much about Joan Adams as a company as I have never experienced with them before. However, this is about their glowpad toy for small children. I couldn't find any other way of leaving your review so I had to leave it on their website even though I bought it from John Lewis online. The glow pad drawing pad for children 4 plus is an absolute waste of time. Cheap small. Hard to clean and both the children I bought it for couldn't be less interested in it. Please don't waste your money on this. That must be better alternatives cuz this was at John Lewis. I thought it might be a quality product but it's absolutely rubbish.

Excellent Custoner Service
I've dealt with this company twice over the course of a few weeks. The first time was to purchase a replacement part for my child's game which had been lost. Its was really resonable for the part (barely would have covered postage) and was sent promptly. I really appreciate a company that can replace small parts which would otherwise render an item useless.
The second time was when my child's christmas gift had a faulty robot (power tracks). My daughter was really disappointed but after contacting the company we received a replacement one a few days later.
Both my children love John Adams toys and I'll continue to purchase and recommend them after such positive experiences.
Wasted more of my life trying to fix a hot tub than in it!!!
So, the date is the start of the problem...its not resolved yet...so about 7 months and counting!!!
When you first get a hot tub its great, and this one was no problem at all, we loved it...then the error codes start.
You follow the trouble shooting, you replace the filters, you drain it and refill it, you do anything you can think of before turning to the warranty and support.
THATS THE MISTAKE WHEN BUYING THIS....THINKING THERE IS SOME SUPPORT!!!
Don't kid yourself, there may not be many reviews here but the fact they are almost all 1 start is for a reason. The customer service and response time is one of the worst i have ever experienced in my life.
I implore you...but a hot tub from ANYWHERE else!!!!!
Excellent customer service
What excellent customer service. Emailed as I needed some replacement tiles for Rummikub and couldn't find them on the website. Jamie emailed and sorted it out for me, even sending 2 replacements after they got lost in the post. We are now able to play this great game again as we have numbers on the tiles once more. Many thanks
I ordered a part for my Index K1 from…
I ordered a part for my Index K1 from them but 9 days later they'd still not arrives so I came on here and read some bad reviews so that spurned me to contact John Adams via e mail and they replied within minutes and advised me my order was posted the day before and I should get it within a few days and the very next morning it did indeed come through so for me my first experience of trading with them was positive although the 9 day wait with not updates on my orders progress was a bit worrying but it all came good hence 4 stars
Wife purchased a K2 challenger Kayak…
Wife purchased a K2 challenger Kayak just before lock down, so probably now out of warranty. Recently got around to using this straight out of the box and noticed a pin hole on the seam of the boat. As no repair kit came with this I duly purchased the kit recommended by intex and repaired the hole as advised. However upon re inflating the boat today it went bang not only blowing the patch clean off but splitting the entire Swan around the hole. This should not happen. I duly contacted company and asked them to register a formal complaint, which they didn't do, as I was not happy and believe that the pin hole was as a result of the manufacturing process which only came about when inflated. The response was one of not interested nothing we can do. The intex site in America states that products Center around quality at affordable prices and built to last. This is not what has happened with this item. Shocking quality and absolutely shocking customer service. I have purchased, and recommended, several intex products but this, by far the most expensive, I am absolutely disappointed with. I am looking at what options are open to me because I am far from happy with the quality of this product and believe this was not of merchantable quality and therefore defective from the outset. I would certainly stay well clear from such products because what they fail to deliver on their beliefs and values.

The product I had burst into flames!!!!! And caused a fire 🔥 but still no reply, puts me off buying any intertex products again. And will contact the US and seek legal advice
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service
I'm surprised to see all the negative reviews here. I had an issue with a slow puncture in an air bed which was under warranty. True, it took quite a long time to get sorted, but much of that time was during lockdown. They agreed to send out a new one which arrived within 3 days. I can't expect better than that.
Intex K1 used 3 times
Intex K1 used 3 times, cleaned before storing each time, seam blew. Contacted Intex who said no warranty for seam. Patched seam and it blew about an inch further up. Absolutely horrific customer service for a horrific product that does not suit purpose. Avoid this company at all cost
Hot tub leaking
Hot tub leaking. Lid leaking. Still in warranty. Waited two months with no response from customer services despite 4 emails. Returned to Aldi for full refund. Intex responded 2 hours after courier collected spa for return. Avoid INTEX Spas due to total lack of customer service. Aldi very professional once contacted. Let down by dreadful UK agent
I would give them no stars if possible
I would give them no stars if possible. I have contacted the company 2 months ago and have been processed since then. This is shambolic. Avoid at all cost.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, no response to a faulty product, definitely a company to avoid.
