I would like to update my original review and acknowledge that Olli, one of JobStep's co-founders, personally reached out, took responsibility for the situation, and issued a full refund.
I genuinely appreciate this gesture and the willingness to make things right.
Looking back, I believe the main issue was that the platform simply wasn't the right fit for my specific needs and expectations. I was looking for more comprehensive support with finding jobs and submitting applications, rather than primarily CV-related tools.
That doesn't mean JobStep cannot be valuable to others. I'm sure the platform can be genuinely useful for people looking for the services it currently offers.
Although my initial experience was disappointing, I appreciate how the situation was ultimately resolved. I wish the team every success and look forward to seeing how the platform develops.

Feels like a scam.
I paid for a 3-month subscription expecting AI support with finding and applying for jobs. I downloaded one CV, found it useless and deleted it. When I asked for a 45 RON refund, I went through multiple emails and was eventually told I needed to attend a 15-minute call just for them to consider an exception, with no guarantee of a refund.
The amount of time and effort required to recover such a small amount is ridiculous. In my experience, the refund process seems designed to make customers give up. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend it.
