Crooks!
Recently had my oil changed at Jiffy Lube in Lloydminster, AB. New ownership since last time I used them and there won't be a next time. A couple of minutes after opening my hood the guy tells me my transmission fluid is low and asks to top it up. I declined. I have a standard transmission and there's no dipstick. I should have called him on it but I let it go. Then they're doing a light check and he informs me my right rear brake light is out and asks if they can replace it. I declined again. When I got home I jammed the brake pedal with a stick and guess what? Both brake lights working 100%. I paid for full synthetic oil but who knows what I actually got.
Avoid at all costs
Took our vehicle for an oil change on 10/12/19. Even though our car had never been outside of CA before, they stated that our car had been to their service station over and over (we later found out a previous owner took it to a location in Los Angeles, CA) and wanted to upsell everything (which we expected but declined as our car was in perfect running condition before we took it to this location).
We thought everything was fine after we left until our car started having several code issues pop up, almost immediately after leaving. We had to replace our O2 sensor as it was somehow damaged in the oil change (it had just been replaced in September 2019 before we drove from CA to NJ), and had constant issues with our car now stalling when it had been completely fine before the oil change. We found out four days after the oil change that the employees never reconnected our hoses when they disconnected the air filter system in my car, which was causing all sorts of fuel injection errors. Rather than having this shady location touch my car again, we fixed it ourselves at our own cost.
Do NOT trust Jiffy Lube to touch your car, this is not the first time a Jiffy Lube location has ruined a vehicle of mine but it sure is going to be the LAST. I will not ever return to another Jiffy Lube location and I highly recommend that nobody else does either. There are so many places to get an oil change these days that are so much more respectful to the owner and to the car itself. (Photos of the damage attached to all review sites that allow it)
Went to Hiram Ga
Went to Hiram Ga. location and they told me I would have to take the car to the LAST JL location in Marietta where it was serviced before because the head was stripped off of the drain plug and would have to be repaired by the store that did it. (Ridiculous) Went 45 minutes away to the other store where they did not have the plug and even though the dealership for my car was less than 2 miles away and only cost $5. They would not go pick one up because they said it was cheaper for them to order from their own supplier. They had tapped the plug and removed the oil and could not fill the oil without the plug so I was asked to leave the car until the next day! I made them re install the ruined plug and drove home. Next day, they never called. Took the car back and they had the drain plug and changed it out. It leaked all in my garage. Took the car back the next day to complain. They said it was just now wiped down well is why it dripped. (I suppose that is why the oil was about 1/2 a quart low right?) What a pathetic company. Never more.
JiffyLube Bracebridge, ON
In the past I had a very bad experience at JL in Bracebridge, Ontario. I swore never to go back. Then a new owner bought the franchise and the service is now excellent. Cory Briere offered me a free oil change to make up for my bad experience, even though he did not own that JL at the time. The service is now spot on, polite and fast. I needed a new filter which they did not have in stock. Cory sent one his his guys to my home to install the filter when it arrived. He also owns a JL in Huntsville, Ontario, so you can expect the same good service there.
Fukking Terrible
Fukking terrible. These guys killed my car and then never called me back about it. Probably trying to reduce their exposure but I'll never forget that and I can never go to jiffy Lube again because of it. It was the Nacogdoches road location in San Antonio Texas, northeast side.
I paid these guys to bakken oil job and now I need to find a new car. I'd love to talk to someone at corporate about it.
jiffy lube Janesville very good service…

Don't Use Jiffy Lube
They installed a damaged, leaking, drain plug in my daughter's Honda. The drain plug issue was noted on the work order using an acronym that is only know to Jiffy Lube (so unless you knew the lingo you would not know there was an issue), but no follow up was done, and I was not verbally notified that a replacement was needed. Instead, they reinstalled the damaged plug and refilled the crankcase. End result, the oil leaked out of the engine and it seized up four days after the oil change. New engine $4,000. Jiffy Lube took no responsibility either at the dealer level or the corporate level.
Quick and Fast
Quick and Fast, indeed. But when I got home I noticed a little leak. So I'm a little concerned that there is something wrong down there. I'm going to have to go to my normal mechanic to get this checked out. Otherwise, if you can find a coupon, it's a great place to go!
I have never been so sorry I choose…
I have never been so sorry I choose this place for my automotive needs (Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE). On 8/3/18, our car was taken in for an oil change. The following morning, we decided to take it back for a transmission fluid change. This car had no leak or issue before our visit. While there, no one announced any concerns while or after the work had been done. On 8/7/18, I received a distress call from my son who was stuck on the highway. The car shut down, making loud noises. It had to be towed to an service center where they established no oil in the car. The oil stick was completely dry. I announced that it had just had an oil change 4 days ago. I went back to Jiffy Lube. Management came to the automotive shop to examine the car. They could not see why this happened. The manager asked me to get a diagnostic and estimate of the damage and get back to them and that he would notify the owner. On 8/10/18, the service center told me that something was now broken in the engine and it would be costly to fix. They also remarked that they did not see evidence of an oil leak that large. They suggested I contact JL headquarters. I did just that. Well, headquarters was no help. They reported it to the owner who called to say they didnt bear any responsibility to fix it. Since my situation, I have had at least six people tell me they had some issue with there car after a visit here. We had to junk our car because of the cost. Save yourself the trouble!
Worst place I’ve ever visited
Worst place I’ve ever visited. Everyone was very rude and disrespectful. This used to be a great place to go, but they have lost all their human connection and no one seems to care if they do a good job or not.
they changed my oil quickly and easily
