A great Korean learning experience
I’ve had around five private Korean lessons with Jia, where we brushed up on the basics that I had forgotten, and I couldn’t recommend her enough!
She makes Korean grammar much more approachable and easier to understand. She always explains things with clear, illustrative, and relatable examples, which makes even the confusing grammar points much easier to follow. She also always makes sure that you’re actually following along and haven’t gotten lost.
What I especially liked was that she didn’t just explain the grammar and move on - she made sure I actually tried using it during the lessons. I think that’s where things really start to stick, when you get to actively use what you’ve just learned.
You can really tell that she puts a lot of thought and work into each lesson and genuinely cares about you understanding the material and getting better.
I would definitely recommend Jia to anyone looking for Korean tutoring!
