At first I thought this was a good I idea but if anything you should just save your money. Then try to work with the creditors yourself to pay smaller amounts. This is my honest opinion and this company I guess at a point is helpful but to be honest I'm the end it's a scam. I enrolled with $10,323 I was NEVER informed I would have to go over that amount. I was expecting to finish April off this year 2026 but then was informed it wouldn't end until September of 2026. I accepted it and said only a few more months but now I'm September I'm being informed I will not stop paying until they get a settlement even if it's going over my enrolled dept amount. So at this point I was informed I could continue for more years depending on how long it takes for them to settle. To be completely honest they have settle so such small amounts that they have already benefitted from the $10,000. Please you're at this point better off keeping your money and settling with them yourself. I never expected this company to expect me to go over my enrolled debt amount. I'm not here expecting the difference from the amount that they didn't settle upon for the full $10,000 but they expect me to continue going over that amount for them. No thank you. I know they have to make money in some sort of way from this because there's no interest or anything like that. Which I understood they were going to settle for smaller amounts than the amount of my debt. I just never expected for them to expect me to continue paying them over my debt amount until they were able to do their job. I would never recommend JG Wentworth to anyone.
