Very good service from the guys in the field, badly let down by less than competent administration from the office ( mix up over dates, whole charge taken instead of half as agreed for deposit, 2appointments cancelled at very short notice )

Quick and easy to book an appointment with them within a few days they had someone out to treat our ant infestation. Kept you updated with time arrival and all very efficient. Pest control operative talked through the treatment and took the time to make sure it was all done in the right areas and provided additional advice on some repairs to property that might help prevent any future pests getting in. Very friendly, polite and professional.brilliant service all around. If one treatment isn’t effective guarantee they will come back. Would recommend

Terrible experience. Their technician attended our residential block on Bank Holiday Monday early morning and, through incompetence, used excessive heat near the fire/heat alarms, triggering a full building evacuation. Residents were woke up to a loudly sounding alarm and left standing outside because of their mistake.
A trained pest control technician should know not to use heat equipment near heat detectors. Even worse, there was no apology or accountability afterwards — the technician actually expected tenants to help locate keys to shut the alarm off despite clear signage in the lobby.
Very unprofessional service, would not reccomend this company.

At no point during my phone call did the advisor state that i was paying for a survey. They record their calls and can confirm this. Instead I have ended up paying £130 + Vat for a member of the company to attend, look at the honey bee problem, and tell me he can't access the entry point, due to a garage below, then drove away. I had expleined over the phone that the entry point was in the cavity at the Apex of loft.
On the phone call the only terms and conditions I was informed about was if they return to the same place within 14 days, they would re attend FOC and remove them again, however if the wasps returned to a different part of my roof then I would incur a further charge.
I would recommend requesting a copy of there Terms and conditions before considering using this company. Definitely the worse company I have ever dealt with.

You've replied with your standard reply, I have noted other complaints where you have done this and still have not rectified the problem. I have already contacted your customer service email, and did not get a reply. If you seriously want to resolve this, then contact me. You have all my details.
I will update this review if you do address the problem, however i believe you cut and paste this standard reply as it reads that your interested. But I'm confident it is just for show.

I had a problem with bees in my chimney.
I paid for an assessment, which was compulsory and non refundable.
I was quoted just over £10000 including VAT for the work to be carried out. This included removal of the bees from my chimney and deconstruction and reconstruction of the chimney and scaffolding.
I researched other companies and the price was comparable. I decided to go with JG because of the positive reviews.
It took over 2 weeks for someone to arrive at the property. Bees were accessing my property and were quite aggressive.
In the meantime scaffolding went up, then got taken down in error.
By the time the pest controller arrived to remove the bees, the queen had left and no colony or nest had formed.
The pest controller did a thorough check of my property but there were no bees to be found.
There was only minimal deconstruction to the chimney, no brickwork was removed.
The company still charged me the full amount and when I requested a thorough breakdown of the costs, they reluctantly provided a breakdown which met there invoice and did not include a breakdown of the actual materials or chemical used to protect my chimney from reinfestation of bees in the future.
The company reluctantly took £1000 off the bill, which I didn't think was adequate.
I have requested the 4 year guarantee, in writing, on multiple times,and was part of the contract, but have not received this.
The scaffolding is still up at my property, even though I have asked multiple times for it to be removed.
I take no issue with the pest controller or the assessor.
However, the accounts team and customer services on the issues I have mention were unhelpful, obstructive and would not produce any of the documentation I requested.
I would not recommend them to anyone.
