The Only Review from Non-Staff

Since the only review on here is from a member of their executive team, I thought I’d share this google review from a genuine NDIS recipient;

I left this review on your Facebook, but it appears you have blocked me.
So I’ll leave it here :)

I was seeking respite support for my 1 year old medically complex daughter. She is incredibly high needs and has life threatening seizures regularly.

The worker I was sent was qualified in aged care, not disability. She was also completely unaware of the in depth care required by my daughter. (she was so kind and I couldn’t fault her as a person but I need someone qualified)

When I asked if she’d provided her first aid, cpr, anaphylaxis and seizure management training to her superior and if I could confirm with them. I was informed they didn’t even ask for copies but she could provide SOME of the qualifications I was asking for…
In saying that, I don’t believe Jessie Mays even asked for my daughters seizure management plan.

Due to this I was unable to leave my daughter, yet still paid for 2 respite sessions out of her LIMITED ndis funding to see if the employee may be comfortable learning the job. That would require far to much time and money out of my daughters funding and was not fees able so we cut ties.

It became apparent quickly that Jesse May’s is not the best with communication. Failing to remember the days we required care and sending a worker on the wrong day and still attempting to charge us a cancellation fee.

I’d also be weary on how they speak about their clientele.
‘ a mum at her wits end’ is not a way to speak abut a mother trying to raise a child with a disability and shows a lack of understanding in the industry your attempting to be a part of.

To any future clientele, do your research and make sure every box is ticked. Will also be reporting this to the appropriate agencies to have investigated further. Because almost $300 for 4 hours with someone unqualified in disability seems ludacris to me.
