Intentional LIARS
i had a deluxe trail blazer 2008 with leather heated seats, running board with a truck window that open separate from the door. (I lovedddddd that truck) and the air went out and a gas smell was leakin in my car and i had to keep putting power steering fluid in everyday 20 bucks worth so i figured i would trade my truck in for another truck, its paid off.
they said they couldnt get another truck for $11K. i traded down in size and got a too small, too short, lost a lot of space KIA SOUL. my sales lady was hiding soooo much info. there was dog hair embedded all over the truck carpet, under the mats, in the air vents, everytime i sat dog hair. for 2 months dog hair in my mouth, face, clothes, feets, eveywhere! ! !
About 10 day of having the car a home the air went out. i brought it back and they acted liked that was strange and they SAID they would fix it. the mechanic said we cant find why its escaping air, they said the put blue fluid iin the line to see where the hole was and they would be able to find the leak. so from the time of purchase august 2021 until november 2021 i had to keep coming to get the air condition charged. then the manager RON told me to wait till after winter to get it fix. so dec. and jan. i didnt go get the car charged
now feb 2022, march 2022 and april 2022 i went and i asked are they ever going to fix the air i need air condition because i have with my lung issues and that was the purpose of me trading in my truck.
RON the mager in MERiVILLE, IN told, "me i never can in the shop. he never told me he was going to get my car air condition fixed. and if i wanted fixed, they would do it with cost out of my own pocket".
then RON said, " what do you think we are suppose to fix your car for free?" I shared with Ron, "you are the person that I spoke to every time and the last time i was here it was for 8hrs waiting only for the car just to get charged air condition liquid.
THEN, i have driven many times and the kia soul will just cut off while im on the express way while the car is in drive.it like the car went straight to netural. that is scary i could have gotten hit from behid on the eway. i was able to cost it over to the side of the road. (Keep Triple AAA)

My humble opinion, if purchasing a car from anywhere, pay to have a mechanic look it over before purchase. especially from places like this.

I got a call from a woman names Candance who told me I did not make my payment, and I was getting removed from the program, she was extremely rude. I did make my payment and I sent proof to the finance manager named Adam Amerman who was extremely helpful, he found out where my payment went. Also, I have had service issues with my car, and they have not been taken care of with the Kansas City Byrider either. They tell me they have no manager onsite for service. My convertible top leaks and my carpets are soaked, and I have no air in my car and this has been since day one. Kansas city Byrider people are very rude and have attitudes and I am about ready to give this car back. I don't know what to say I've used them since 2016 paid first vechile off got a Dodge Dakota then n feb 2022 it broke down it took them 2 months to come get it it's been there since April n still not repaired they have a new service manager n GM I believe are good people yet I'm frustrated cause I have not gotten my vechile repaired !It all falls back on my case manager who took her time having them come get the vechile n feb I believe we have to give everyone a opportunity so I'm trusting n the new people I hate dealing with my case manager it's her fault I've gone this long without a vechile if she would have done her job n had them get the vechile right away rather than 2 months I would b in a vechile by now yet she kept calling for payments then charging me for insurance when it's in their property I hate dealing with her she has no knowledge of professional conduct none what so ever! Cody n Damien Im trusting u guys n I know it's difficult taking over for people who were incompetent ! The 2 previous service managers lied n lied to me telling me my transmission was there etc etc ! Don’t buy from byrider
I bought my car there one year ago since then I have not been late on one payment and pay 387 a month and my payoff has only dropped 1300. Not to mention I have had to replace the battery rear brakes front tires it uses 3 quarts of oil between changes if I don’t keep check on it and now the transmission is starting to loose 5th gear. I really advise you to look somewhere else before buying from jd by rider

Bought my vehicle from there 3 years ago and experienced issues with it within the first month.The brakes needed replacing in the front.....rear brakes were replaced as well as everything else(pads,rotors, hub....I had both rear tires come off the axle while driving...thats right, they came off the car about two weeks apart!Currently dealing with 1,500.00 in suspension work plus about another 700.00 in unrelated repairs.....all in the last year and a half.After all is said and done,im in it for around 4,000.00 in repair costs.......my two star review is being quite genorous.

UNETHICAL NO HUMAN EMPATHY RIP OFF
THIS PLACE IS SOOOO UNETHICAL AND A RIP OFF with the exception of the sales lady Teresa I had the worst experience yet in my 38 years😩 so after contacting this place multiple times I was finally able to come in (FROM ANOTHER CITY) and go through the process of purchasing a vehicle so my daughter and myself caught a ride with a friend going to an eye appointment we came in at 10:30 and began the process hours later a vehicle was purchased paperwork down payment made I even got as far as putting insurance so I told my friend he could go home it got later and later and a guy came got the vehicle to wash it up and I requested gas while he was gone I contacted my brother to come see my new vehicle wen he got there the finance guy came out and told me my 12 yes 12 reference weren’t answering 🤔 I called bs like how and two of them are standing here and their phones never rung then he said I was aggressive with him earlier again I called bs we spoke for maybe 6-10 seconds and I restated our entire conversation and asked what part was aggressive he then stated well this sale just isn’t happening today 🤔🤦🏽♀️ Now it’s 3:57 I’m stuck in another city because I can’t drive a vehicle I’ve already insured home😩 then I asked to speak with a manager over him I was told they had left for the day so my brother takes us home (THANK GOD I CONTACTED HIM🤦🏽♀️) I call the next day and was told still no manger but their business with me was done🤔 so I asked what do I do about the vehicle I insured and was told it wasn’t their issue so now I’m out of my money 😩

The only reason I even got the car from this company was strictly because of Virginia in sales, Kim in servicing and Terrion with CNAC ! I have been going up to the Woodriver location for over month asking them to look at my car bc it was stalling and something was not right and I did not want to end up on the side of the road . I also had just got a tail light replaced for the 2nd time and put in by them about 30 days before this incident the head of services, TJ (services who replaced KIM) told me and my fiancé that it was normal for the light to blow this early after only 30 days, he didnt even mention it could be a fuse or something along those lines. After this I had tried so many times to get in contact with Virginia because I knew she would help me since I found out Kim was replaced. They would not let me speak with Virginia and never told her to call us back.
So about 2 days ago my car stopped under the bridge, no noise no anything it just rolled as if in neutral, I couldn't call and let Byrider know because it was Sunday , got the car towed to Byrider the next day . TJ continued to say that its normal that my car just cut off and there was nothing he could do , I asked if he could look at the car at the very least , he told me it would be 60.00 a hour if he kept the car since I was no longer under warranty. I got the car back same day same problem !!!! He drove the car for 45 min on the highway and said since there was no check engine light on there wasn't anything he could do and he had used the reader and no codes came back. I drove the car off the lot and I didn't even make it past Steak N Shake before the car cut off AGAIN! So by the time we came back to Byrider Virginia was there and I was so relieved and happy to see her. I told her everything that had been going on and even though it is not her job she went above and beyond to help us and let us know she cared , which is the total opposite of TJ. I told Virginia we would leave the car for him to actually look at and get under the car the next day which was Today. 8am this morning we get to Byrider and before I could even say anything TJ bursts through the door with a arrogant attitude basically saying he has told us nothings wrong with the car and there is nothing he can do , he sent one of his mechanics with a reader to get codes again bc I asked for a print off or emailed copy (still haven't got this requested document). While this is going on I called cooperate because Tj was rude , arrogant, nonchalant , no empathy whatsoever !
I spoke with cooperate and she was actually sweet and helpful , she told me that Tj was not the one in charge and I should've been speaking with Scott this entire time not TJ . While I was talking to cooperate TJ came out and said something I cant remember he was a smart ass , so I said I am actually speaking with cooperate right now. He said good for you and some other smart remark while Scott was standing right there as well !
At this point TJ needs to be fired he is bringing your company values down as well as your customer service . Who treats the loyal customers like this we have NEVER missed or deferred a pmnt with this company , they have no grace periods what so ever it does not matter if you are dyeing! You still have to pay, which should guarantee that they fix or help you with your car issues but It absolutely does not mean anything t them that you make pmnt on time and has never been late in over a years time!

I told him Cooperate had sent an email to him and she was waiting on a response , he said he was going in to check it and he never came back out to let me know what was going on or to give an update or to offer some type of solution .
The head of all the locations is out this week and will not be back in so I let cooperate know I'm sure they know Mike is out and he wont be back that's why they're being rude and arrogant . Also told her I would definitely be reporting TJ for lying to my Dad when he called in . While I was sitting in the lobby my Dad said he would call bc he has been a mechanic for over 20 years (once anybody but Byrider touches your car they will not help you !!!!)
TJ told my dad they took the car apart and put it back together , He drove it for over 3 hours, He put fluids in and etc.
TJ told me , my fiancé and told his fellow employees that he had someone drive the car on the highway at 80mph for about 30-45 mins, that changed while talking to my dad to 3 hours or more .He lied and said he took the car apart, Lied there because he specifically told me that he was not going to and that my check engine light had to be on! DO NOT GO HERE !

This is my second car with JD BYRIDER! I have bought both of my cars from Teresa "Tessy" Riggs, she went above and beyond to make sure that I had exactly the car that I wanted and that it was at a price that I was comfortable with. I could text her at any time to ask about a car that I wanted to look at and she would answer right away. It took me a few weeks to find what I wanted, and she was so patient and kind. I cannot stress enough how much I trust her, but I have sent my son there to buy a car.

The next day I was told if my wife wanted to see a car she would have to take off time from work, She get off at 430 I was told that is to late to come but they close at 8pm I feel like if we buy a car now it will be all a scam never had this hard of a time to buy a car
Angela/ bad personal service AGAIN
January 27 my husband had a stroke and Angie from Burlington office badgered and badgered. Threatened taking car, as she doing her job. I wrote a horrible review then the boss JJ reached out said that’s not what we want to do, things were ok. Not greatest as I never wanted to deal with Angie again now today a gentleman comes to my door, it’s raining tell me I need to immediately call on his phone. The ambulance just left my house with my husband to head back to the hospital. Angie wants to argue because I’m not listening, no I’m not listening because I’m not worried about no car or payment. I’m worried about my mom Diane and my dad. My mom says run the payment. Angie says your not listening again. Our priority is my dad and mom. No my mom hasn’t communicated anything because since Friday my father has been rushed to the hospital twice. All Angie worries about is yelling you’re not listening. I will never recommend Jd Byrider to anyone ever. Cars can be replaced my dad can’t be. Angie our parents our worth more than you trying to belittle her as we are trying to get her to my dad. Im very saddened by you and now you want her to call you tomorrow. You got your money today as you ran her card nothing else to be said. Customer Service Lacking
We purchased a car for my son in August, it’s had ongoing mechanical issues since we bought it that everything has been a battle royale over. It took over 3 months to get the license plate because “someone” made a mistake on the paperwork and it had been sent back from Michigan to Indiana and no one followed up.. we’ve had to take the car to Indiana 3 times, Kalamazoo (where we had to call the police to get our car back because the service manager tried to charge us for things that were covered) and yeah…do you think at any point anyone at this company has reached out and said you know….maybe we should consider putting you in something else or hey let’s put you in a rental while we figure this out or even hey here’s some gas money for that THREE HOUR DRIVE EACH WAY FROM MICHIGAN? NOPE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE is all I can say….

I've purchased 4 cars from Byrider. I've referred 5 people to Byrider, all of which purchased cars. They claim there's a referral bonus but I had to call every week for 3 months to finally get it. There's a $70 tow reimbursement but by the time I got it I couldn't cash the check. It was only good for 90 days and the shop manager had left it on his desk. I didn't even receive it til it was too late. But the worst of it, on 3/14/22 I traded the car in. The dealer was given a 10 day payoff amount of $11966.73 and sent a check for that amount. On 3/18/22 I made my regular payment of $202.94. On 4/12/22 I received a letter stating my account is officially closed but no overpayment check. I just got.off the phone with CNAC and they informed me that they just issued a check for a $33.19 overpayment, not $202.94. I tried to plead and argue my case but to no avail. Bottom line, I'll walk everywhere I go before I ever deal with Byrider's ineptitude or CNAC's greed, corruption, callousness and lies ever again and I STRONGLY recommend you do the same. Avoid Byrider/CNAC like the plague....unless you enjoy getting screwed over.
They are a scam
They are a scam. Go to someone else. They sold me a car, that couldn't be fixed. I turned it back in, and they put it as a bad mark on my credit. I made all payments on time. I went to another, later on, and found this out. They treated me like crap. I walked out, with nothing. Went to a local dealer, and did a lot better. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

I'm on disability and need a car so I called the car lot and was informed that they could help me and I explained three times and how much I get a month and how much I got down on the payment they said no problem we can help you and once again I said I don't want to come all the way over there from Newark to just be turned away they said we help people like you so I borrowed a car and filled the tank up which was pretty expensive and drove over there to be turned away they said I didn't make enough money I think it's very very wrong to get somebody to come all the way over there just to be turned down knowing how much money I made a month and they're awful awful place to do business at

Do not go to this place. I went and I have three vehicles from them. Worst mistake of my life. They do not have permission to take money out of my account and they still do over and over. I have called they say they will refund me and they don’t. They don’t even let you talk when you are on the phone with them. They are a joke. Take your money to a different company. This place should be shut down. 1 they over draft your account 2 they push you into a vehicle that you don’t want and they say it’s because you don’t have a big down payment 3 they won’t fix anything that is wrong unless you pay the full price even when it is under warranty 4 they harass you , on countless occasions they have called, texted and e mailed me more than 30 times in a day even when I am not due yet and they claim it is because of the computer system. I bought an suv from them. I called to get it serviced. The bcm needed replaced and programmed. The service Dept was supposed to call me back with prices and and never has. I eneded up taking it to a Chevy dealership and ended up paying 1,000 dollars. So much for their extended warranty.
