Fitted a new radiator in one visit when other plumbers said it would need two, saving well over £100. Very pleasant, clean and efficient and even noticed a problem with our boiler which had not worked well for a long time. Other "specialists" had missed this, their electrician fixed it in 15mins, and it now works as it should. Excellent, with a bonus.

All tasks completed very efficiently and very helpful with advice about our problem boiler.

I am a tradesman myself and in my line of work, work with many plumbers, electricians, decorators etc. I cannot recommend John Cordner and Dan highly enough! I first used them 4 years ago when I moved to Eastbourne. I needed quite a lot of work done in my new house (new boiler, new radiators, kitchen refit and quite a bit of new pipe work put in.) I picked J Cordner out of 5 plumbers I had come to look at and quote for the job.
John’s pricing was reasonable and honest (I had a pretty good idea of what the job should cost) and I just got the impression he would do a good job. He did! The job was done swiftly, efficiently and any little problems that did arise (as they always do) were sorted to suit what I wanted done and not in a way that would Just make things easier for the plumber.
I have used J Cordner ever since.
John once helped me solve, over the phone, an issue that I considered to be a ‘plumbing emergency’. It was a simply thing that he talked me through that rectified the problem immediately. No charge. I’m sure there would be a few plumbers out there who would have taken a different route. Hefty emergency call out charge and labour costs for a job that took 5 seconds to fix.
So I’d say J Cordner basically encompasses everything you need and want in a skilled tradesman. Reliability, HONESTY, efficiency and also very important; reasonably priced.

After John Cordner did a great job on our central heating last year, we had no hesitation in asking him to refit our bathroom for us. What a transformation! He and Dan took out the old bath and fitted a lovely walk-in shower, replaced the toilet and washbasin and completely renewed all pipe work, hiding it under the floor. As before nothing was too much trouble, they were polite, friendly and always cheerful. They always cleared everything up at the end of each day, leaving it clean and tidy. Many thanks. I do not hesitate to recommend this company.

We had a new boiler fitted to replace a 10 year old very tired one and also a shower pump to replace one that stopped working around the same time. The quote for supplying and fitting the boiler beat the competitors and both jobs were carried out quickly and in a very professional manner. We would recommend them to anyone.
