Not sure if I should say this, but here goes. I needed a way to fill the free time I have driving to and from work (Over an hour each day). With this and Tesla FSD, I can spend my hour drives productively, rather than siting there supervising the car. It's pretty addictive. I've had a few guitars for awhile, and was getting nowhere. The cards are great and tell you exactly what to practice. So instead of jumping all over Youtube for what to do, you have a clear direction. With this I feel I am actually making some progress. Thanks!
Only having this for two weeks, I have two conflicting thoughts about it - and think you should get one if you're thinking about it, or trying to improve.
I'll try to keep this long enough to be helpful but short enough to read: I travel for work, and have thrown this in my bag to run scales in the hotel at night or practice changing difficult chord shape transitions. For that alone, it's been helpful, and I've already seen my speed increase - surprisingly, in fact. I can also feel the "workout" if I spend time with this (being frets 1-5 the scale length is slightly longer that what feels "comfortable," but in a good way), and I've seen that translate.
The quality and finish is definitely there - the neck feels just a bit chunky in my hands, but that means switching to a Strat feels comfortable and easy after days of practice, without throwing me off. The wood is nicely finished, and everything seems well thought through.
My ONLY complaint is that holding it is awkward. If there was another 3" at the base to hold for some stability - or even if the tuning pegs were on the "bridge" side - there'd be enough to not have it feel weird.
I'm sure this was thought out and debated, and maybe I'll adjust. But I wish that there was more to hold onto, even if it made it a little less portable. It's frustrating enough that I find myself noticing it most times I pick up and awkwardly try to find a good way to hold it.
With that said - I think it's a simple, great product, and if you've come back to it once or twice thinking about it, I think you should just pull the trigger. I've spent way more on training gear that ended up not being helpful, and gotten way less out of it.
10/10 Finish, quick shipment, included resources, kind people, 7/10 ergonomics. 10/10 would buy again.

I recently purchased my coldly and have used throughout the day for five days straight now and noticed easier transition with Eminor to Cmajor . It’s still work in progress but getting smother with chordly. I have also read a chapter on anchor points for transitioning chords is best advice given that I never received from instructor. Thanks Cordly

I just wanted to say that I received the Chordly a few days ago. It took some time but it's here. I must say it's a neat package. I'm impressed with the product overall. The pouch is a nice addition. I put it in there and hang it by the drawstrings on my guitar rack pegs (it's a side rack for 6 guitars). The cards are super well made and durable. I'm not sure what strings you use on the Chordly but the golden color suits the mahogany wood perfectly. I was surprised to hear the sound of the strings at the bottom fret. It sounds nothing like a real guitar of course but more like a tiny xylophone but still very musical. It makes just enough sound to know if a string is muted or not when making a chord. The frets are nice and I really like the fact that the scale is just about perfect (space between strings, space between frets). This makes practice fully transferable to a real guitar and that's where other portable products fail (the cheap ones sold on Amazon).
I started using it and I like it. I can use it anytime, anywhere. No plugging anything in, no special guitar seat needed. Like you mentioned, it will never replace a real guitar for practice but it's a useful tool in the quest for getting better, faster.
Kudos for a great product

The chordly and added information is fantastic. I take this to work with me and work on chords when I have some"free"time. It greatly helps getting faster at chord changes.

Commercial Diver here, doing some work in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts at the moment. My guitar stays in the hotel room while I head out to the barge for work. We work long hours, between 12-24 daily, 7 days a week. The Chordly stays in my back pack that I carry everywhere with me. I've had it for about 2 weeks now. This thing rocks. Solid quality construction. Ive been running through chords and scales every chance I get. I literally keep it and my pocket while walking the deck. It feels great to put fingers on strings. Its legit; absolutely practical for growing practice sessions. Not like those cheesey smart phone guitar apps where you download a digital fretboard. You can feel this thing in your hands and the progress is real. Ill happily use this and take it with me everywhere for the rest of my life.

The Chordly is a wonderful product that allows you to practice on the go. I'm a dad with two kids under three, so I don't have much time to sit with my guitar. The Chordly helps me practice chords and build muscle memory on the go, every single day. It has also helped reduce the excuses to skip practice, because it's always near, wanting to be used. :) I highly recommend Chordly to all players who have a time crunch or just want a few extra minutes of practice during the day.

Excellent products and support. I specifically value the practice cards and find them so helpful on the road. They even sell them in jumbo size! Can’t recommend the Jamfast company enough! Keep up the great work.

I am genuinely not one to complain however, I really love the concept and I would love to see it a 12 fret unit. If you do not get this opinion I can't see it changing and I think this improvement would really help.
I think the chordly would be much more balanced and be more useful if it had 12 frets. I think it would fit much better. As a result of only 5 frets, I am a little disappointed primarily for how it feels when you are using it.

My husband had gotten away from playing guitar. He has a lot of stiffness in his hands - a holdover from being in a USMC artillery unit - and was having some trouble getting his flexibility back. I saw the Chordly via Facebook and thought this might be a great way to get him back to a hobby he loves. I ordered him the Cherry Deluxe Pack and it is gorgeous. It actually exceeded my expectations - quality product, quick shipping, great packaging. Best of all my husband loves it! It’s the perfect size to fit in a back pack, or just grab and go. The little stand is great and it fits perfectly on his turntable cabinet. Another great thing was the incredible customer service. Marty quickly, and happily, took care of an issue that was completely my fault. Thanks again!!!

Chordly has helped me get in lots of reps at work. I work an office job so having this is very helpful as I cap practice virtually anywhere. Besides the great product, the chordly team itself has been nothing but great.

I love that I can use my Chordly on my 10-15 min work breaks. (I work from home so that helps too) and while watching TV with my family. :)
